Halliburton Company [HOUSTON] (NYSE: HAL) announced Mark McCollum, resumed his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Christian Garcia, who had assumed Mr. McCollum’s CFO responsibilities on an interim basis, will remain with the Company as Senior Vice President of Finance until August 1, 2016, at which time he intends to take early retirement.
SunEdison, Inc. [MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo.] (OTC PINK: SUNEQ) announced that it has appointed Philip J. Gund as Chief Financial Officer. Gund is an experienced restructuring executive and Senior Managing Director with Ankura Consulting Group, LLC. Mr. Gund recently served as Chief Restructuring Officer at Vivaro Corporation, and as Advisor to Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives, LLC. Mr. Gund was a Founding Principal of Marotta Gund Budd & Dzera, LLC, which Ankura Consulting Group acquired in 2016. Prior to forming MGBD, Mr. Gund served as a Principal at Zolfo Cooper, LLC. The Company’s prior Chief Financial Officer designee, Ilan Daskal, resigned from SunEdison on June 27, 2016.
Science Applications International Corp. [MCLEAN, Va.] (NYSE: SAIC) announced the appointment of Corporate Controller Maria M. Bishop as interim Chief Financial Officer. Bishop will assume the role of CFO from John R. Hartley, whose departure from the company was announced in March. Bishop has worked for SAIC since 1998, and has been a member of the corporate finance team for the past decade.
WaterStone Bank [WAUWATOSA, Wis.] announced the appointment of Mark R. Gerke as the company’s senior vice president and chief financial officer of WaterStone Bank and Waterstone Financial, Inc. Gerke joined WaterStone Bank in October of 2005 as corporate controller. In February of 2014, Gerke was appointed vice president, controller and principal accounting officer of Waterstone Financial, Inc.
Fauquier Bankshares, Inc. [WARRENTON, Va.] (NASDAQ: FBSS) announced that Eric P. Graap, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Fauquier Bankshares, Inc. (the “Company”) and its wholly-owned subsidiary, The Fauquier Bank (the “Bank”), is retiring effective September 2, 2016. The Company has appointed Christine E. Headly to succeed Mr. Graap upon his retirement. Ms. Headly will be Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company and the Bank. Since May 2013, Ms. Headly has served as Senior Vice President and Controller of the Bank, and previously served as a Vice President and Controller beginning in 2007 through May 2013. Ms. Headly joined the Bank in 1999 and over the last 17 years has also served as the Financial Analyst. Prior to joining the Bank, Ms. Headly was an economist at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.
Alion Science and Technology [MCLEAN, Va.] announced that Kevin L. Cook will become the company’s Chief Financial Officer, effective July 5. Mr. Cook joins Alion from Booz Allen Hamilton, where he has served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer since 2014. Mr. Cook began his career in 1978 at Westinghouse Defense and later joined IIT Research Institute, Alion’s predecessor organization. Mr. Cook first joined Booz Allen Hamilton in 1986, and ten years later joined what is now JAMIS Software. He rejoined Booz Allen in 2003 and led various elements of the Finance department including leading the establishment of the company’s shared services infrastructure and playing a leadership role in preparing for and completing the company’s initial public offering (IPO) in 2010. He became Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller in 2008 and was promoted to CFO in 2014.
KMG Chemicals, Inc. [FORT WORTH, Texas] (NYSE: KMG) announced that Marcelino Rodriguez, KMG’s Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer, has been named Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Rodriguez replaces Mindy Passmore, who has resigned to pursue other opportunities. Since February 2014, Rodriguez has served as KMG’s Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. Before joining KMG in 2014, Rodriguez served as Chief Financial Officer of Paul Mueller Company. Prior to that role, Rodriguez was Chief Financial Officer of Lhoist North America.
Zix Corporation [DALLAS] (NASDAQ: ZIXI) appointed David Rockvam as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Rockvam joins ZixCorp after 18 years with Entrust, where he served in several executive roles, including Chief Investor Relations Officer and CFO of Asia Digital Media, an Entrust joint venture. He also served as Senior Vice President (SVP) and General Manager of Entrust Certificate Services. Rockvam’s other executive roles at Entrust included Chief Marketing Officer, SVP of Brand and Corporate Communications, and SVP of Product Marketing. Rockvam began his career at Nortel Networks, where he served as a finance manager and a project manager for Entrust’s initial public offering.
Pennsylvania National Mutual Casualty Insurance Company [HARRISBURG, Pa.] appointed Lyle Rhodebeck senior vice president and CFO, replacing Gregory Stine, who will retire as senior VP and CFO July 1, which the company announced on Dec. 18. Rhodebeck joins the company July 6. Rhodebeck worked at Shelby Insurance as CFO; Grange Insurance as vice president of Claims and vice president of Personal Lines; and most recently at State Auto as senior vice president — director of operations.
BlueJeans Network [MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA] announced the hire of Robert Park as the company’s first Chief Financial Officer. Robert has experience scaling high growth technology companies such as PayPal, Chegg and Practice Fusion, as well as Fortune 100 companies such as McKesson.
Valassis [LIVONIA, Mich.] named Grant Fitz as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Most recently, Fitz was the corporate vice president and CFO for Xerox® Technology Business where he managed the financial operations for the technology business. Additionally, he was responsible for Xerox Financial Services, the Xerox internal financing business. Prior to his tenure with Xerox, Fitz spent nearly two decades at General Motors (GM) where he held multiple positions with increasing responsibility including chief financial officer of different business units and as the company’s first chief risk officer. He has held various leadership roles at GM in both the United States and Europe. He was also Vice President and CFO at Nexteer Automotive.
Abt Associates [BETHESDA, MD] named Noel N. Samuel as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, he was CFO of immixGroup, Inc. He also served as CFO of Dell Computer’s $1+ billion public sector services business unit and was the Senior Vice President of Finance at Perot Systems Government Services.
Young Living Essential Oils, LC [LEHI, Utah] announced Janay Standifird was appointed as its new Chief Financial Officer. Standifird was chosen to replace Kevin Pace, who retires on July 15. Standifird joined Young Living in 2012 as controller and most recently held the role of Senior Vice President, Global Controller and Finance. She brings almost two decades of business experience and competence to Young Living, with more than 10 years in the direct selling industry.
Kalytera Therapeutics, Inc. [MANHATTAN BEACH, CA] announced the appointment of Robert Farrell as Kalytera’s President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Farrell has held senior positions with publicly listed companies, including Titan Pharmaceuticals, where he served as President and CEO from 2008 to 2009 and as Chief Financial Officer from 1996 to 2008. Previously, Mr. Farrell served as CFO, Corporate Group Vice President and General Counsel at Fresenius USA and Fresenius Medical Care.
Boxed Wholesale [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Naeem Ishaq as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Prior to joining Boxed, Ishaq was Head of Finance, Strategy, and Risk at Square. Ishaq also worked at Intel Corporation where he held several operational finance and strategic planning roles, and was the Senior Director of Finance & Strategy at Salesforce.com.
IGEL Technology [SAN FRANCISCO] announced that Martin van Os has joined the company as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Prior to joining IGEL, he was Managing Director of brille24 GmbH. Before his position with brille24, van Os held financial advisor and CFO positions with Soundcloud Ltd, Corporate Finance Partners and KKFnet.
Keener Investments [HOUSTON] announced that Jerry D. Smith has joined as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of the firm. Prior to joining Keener Investments, Jerry served as Vice President and Controller of Freeport LNG. He joined Freeport LNG from his previous role serving as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Cheniere Energy.
McCormick & Company, Incorporated [SPARKS, Md.] (NYSE: MKC) announced the promotion of Michael R. Smith to Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the company effective September 1, 2016. On that date, Gordon M. Stetz will continue with the company as Executive Vice President until his retirement on December 31, 2016. Mr. Stetz served as Executive Vice President & CFO since 2007 and a member of McCormick’s Board of Directors since 2011. Mr. Smith, who is currently Sr. Vice President, Corporate Finance, joined McCormick in 1991 and served as a financial leader across North America and in the company’s Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
DB Schenker [FREEPORT, NEW YORK] announced that Brent Blake is the new Chief Financial Officer for the Americas. Since 2014, Brent has held the role of Vice President of Finance and Information Technology for North America with Del Monte. Prior to this, Blake held increasingly senior roles and responsibilities across finance, IT, and strategy with OHL, United Parcel Service, and Burger King Corporation in the Americas. Donna Hanson Prantl, formerly Vice President of Finance and Shared Services for Schenker, Inc., was appointed to the new role of CFO USA.
Amarin Corporation plc [BEDMINSTER, NJ and DUBLIN, IRELAND] (NASDAQ: AMRN) announced that Michael W. Kalb has joined its senior management team as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Mr. Kalb joins Amarin from Taro Pharmaceutical Industries, Ltd., where he served as chief financial officer and chief accounting officer. Prior to joining Taro, Mr. Kalb was a director in the Accounting and Financial Consulting Group of Huron Consulting Group Inc.
Convalo Health International, Corp. (Convalo) [LOS ANGELES] (TSX-V: CXV) announced it has promoted Hector Rivera to Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Rivera has been with Convalo since its founding, and previously held the position of Senior Controller. Prior to working with Convalo, he was the Senior Controller for a large Los Angeles substance abuse company. Allan Dicks, previous CFO, has been terminated.
HouseMaster LLC [SALT LAKE CITY, UT] announced the appointment of Adam Campbell to the HouseMaster Family. Mr. Campbell was a founding employee and the Corporate Controller for Bridge Investment Group Partners in Salt Lake City, UT.
Patient Home Monitoring Corp. [LAFAYETTE, LOUISIANA] (TSX-V: PHM) announced that it has appointed Steve Lazarus to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Lazarus was previously employed by Deloitte, the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, and served as CFO of a Federally Qualified Health Center system.
Horry County State Bank [LORIS, S.C.] (OTC: HCFB) announced the addition of Jennifer W. Harris as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Ms. Harris served as VP Senior Accountant – SEC Reporting of Park Sterling Bank in Charlotte, North Carolina, from September 2014 to May 2016. Prior to that, Ms. Harris served as SEC Financial Reporting Manager of Yadkin Bank in Statesville, North Carolina, from April 2009 to July 2014, when Yadkin Bank, and its holding company, Yadkin Financial Corporation, merged with VantageSouth Bancshares, Inc. and Piedmont Community Bank Holdings, Inc. Ms. Harris also has held various senior accounting roles at community banks across North Carolina.
NioCorp Developments Ltd. [CENTENNIAL, Colo.] (OTCQX: NIOBF) announced that it is has named Neal Shah as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Mr. Shah has served as NioCorp’s Interim CFO since April 2015. Prior to that, he was NioCorp’s Vice President of Finance since joining the Company in September 2014. Previously, he was with Intel for six years, most recently as a Finance Manager in the high-growth wireless business group. Neal brings a wealth of corporate expertise having also worked at IBM, Boeing, and Covidien.
Pzena Investment Management, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: PZN) promoted Jessica R. Doran to the position of Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, after having spent several years in various roles at Pzena. Ms. Doran began her tenure at the company in 2005 as a portfolio accountant and has served the company in various roles over the years in functions ranging from operations, internal audit and most recently as the Manager of Financial Reporting.
Bright Mountain Media, Inc. [BOCA RATON, FL] (OTCQB: BMTM) announced the appointment of Dennis W. Healey to the Board of Directors as well as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary positions. Mr. Healey will replace Annette Casacci who resigned from her position. Mr. Healey has provided CFO, accounting and financial reporting services to various private and public companies including As Seen On TV, Inc., a company he was the CFO from November 2007 through October 2011 and a member of Board of Directors from April 2014 until August 2014. Prior to that, from 1980 until October 2007, Mr. Healey served as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Viragen, Inc.
