Great Canadian Gaming Corporation [COQUITLAM, BC] (TSX: GC) announced that Andreas M. Thompson has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of the Company. Mr. Thompson joined the Company as a financial consultant on September 19, 2016.
Zargon Oil & Gas Ltd. [CALGARY] (TSX: ZAR) announced the appointment of Bill Cromb as Interim Chief Financial Officer. Bill is an experienced financial executive with over 30 years of varied finance experience in the oil and gas industry.
Acasti Pharma Inc. [LAVAL, QUÉBEC] (NASDAQ: ACST, TSX-V: ACST) announced that Linda O’Keefe has been named chief financial officer. As part of the company’s strategy to operate independently of parent company Neptune Technologies & Bioressources Inc., Mario Paradis has resigned as chief financial officer from Acasti to focus solely on his role as vice president and chief financial officer of Neptune. Prior to joining Acasti, Ms. O’Keefe consulted with various firms after serving as chief financial officer and executive-in-residence for Gryphon Investors. Ms. O’Keefe also served as chief financial officer of Delphi Ventures, a healthcare-focused venture capital firm, and Elevate Ventures; as vice president of finance at Genelabs Technologies and Target Therapeutics; and as controller at Collagen Corporation.
Big Rock Brewery Inc. [CALGARY] (TSX: BR) announced that Tracie Noble has been appointed as Interim Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) effective December 30, 2016. This follows the recent announcement regarding the resignation of Big Rock’s current Chief Executive Officer and the appointment of Barbara Feit, the Company’s current CFO, as Interim CEO, both effective December 30, 2016. Ms. Noble is currently the Corporation’s Controller and she has been with Big Rock since September 2016. Most recently, Ms. Noble served as the Vice President Finance and CFO of Virginia Hills Oil Corp. from February 2015 to June 2016 and previously served as Controller of Pinecrest Energy for a period of four years.
ABE Resources Inc. [VAL-D’OR, QC] (TSX-V: ABE) appointed Nancy Lacoursière as its Interim Chief Financial Officer. Nancy is currently the Interim CFO for Cartier Resources and has been ABE’s consulting accountant for the past three years.
Eastern Platinum Limited [VANCOUVER] announced that Rowland Wallenius will be joining the Company’s senior management team as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary. From 2007 to 2014 Mr. Wallenius acted as Chief Financial Officer of the El Boleo copper project in Mexicoconstructed by Baja Mining Corp. and a group led by Korean Resources Corporation. Prior to that, he acted in a variety of accounting and finance roles with Augusta Resources Corp., Sargold Resources Corporation and other public issuers. Wallenius replaces David Li who acted as interim CFO.
Coronet Metals Inc. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: CRF) announced that Anthony Jackson has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the Company, replacing Theo van der Linde. Currently Mr. Jackson is a principal of Jackson & Company. Mr. van der Linde remains President and CEO.
