Benevity, Inc. [CALGARY] announced that Kelly Schmitt has agreed to join its executive team as Chief Financial Officer as of October 18, 2018. Kelly will assume her role on February 19, 2019, following the completion of her parental leave. Prior to joining the company, she held CFO roles at Solium Capital Inc. and SMART Technologies. James Pettigrew, Benevity’s current CFO, will be staying on with the company until early 2019 to ensure a smooth transition.
Falco Resources Ltd. [Montréal] (TSX-V: FPC) announced the resignation of Vincent Metcalfe from his position of Chief Financial Officer. Anthony Glavac, Falco’s Vice President and Corporate Controller, will assume the position of Chief Financial Officer on an interim basis.
Jaxon Mining Inc. [Vancouver] (TSX-V: JAX, OTC: JXMNF) announced that Alain Voisin has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of the Company. Mr. Voisin has worked with Jaxon since February 2018 and has served as Controller and CFO of various private and publicly traded companies, including a number of junior exploration companies over the past 15 years. Voisin replaces Oleg Scherbina as CFO.
HyperBlock Inc. [TORONTO] announced that it has appointed Brent Arsenault as the company’s new Interim Chief Financial Officer. Before joining HyperBlock, Arsenault was Director of Finance at Brio Gold Inc. Arsenault spent several years as a senior financial leader and Investor Relations specialist at Yamana Gold, and served as a senior auditor with global leader Deloitte from 2007 to 2012.
