Sylogist Ltd. (TSX-V: SYZ) announced that Brian Grassby has joined the Company as Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Following the start of his career at Coopers and Lybrand, Brian moved into the technology industry with CAE Electronics Ltd. and was most recently with Canadian Pacific Railway where, during a period of dynamic change, he rose to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Brian’s first day in the office is expected to be September 1, 2014.

Terrace Energy Corp. (TSX-V: TZR) announced the appointment of Keith R. Godwin as its Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Godwin was most recently Deputy Chief Financial Officer for Sinochem Petroleum USA LP. Prior to that, Mr. Godwin was with ATP Oil & Gas Corporation for over 16 years where he initially served as Vice President and Controller and then Chief Accounting Officer. He started his career in the public accounting industry with Coopers and Lybrand (Now PricewaterhouseCoopers). Mr. Godwin replaces Scott Davis as Chief Financial Officer.

Handa Copper Corporation (TSX-V: HEC) announced the appointment of Alec Peck as the Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of the Company. Mr. Peck will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Richard Schroeder. From 1986 until 1993 he was a Partner in Toronto and then Vancouver with member offices of the international public accounting firm Horwath International. From 1993 until March 2004 he was a Vice President in the corporate finance group of publicly listed full service investment dealers, first with CM Oliver and then Canaccord Capital Corporation, which acquired CM Oliver. Mr. Peck currently provides corporate executive financial service to Canadian public corporations, usually in the capacity as CFO for a project or activity over a specific term.

Mainstream Minerals Corporation (TSX-V: MJO) announced the appointment of Chris Hopkins as Chief Financial Officer of the Company replacing David Reid, the interim Chief Financial Officer of Mainstream since October 2013. The majority of his career has been spent in senior positions with numerous publicly-listed mining companies, including U.S. Silver, Rio Algom Limited, BHP Billiton, Suncor Inc. and several Canadian and international junior mining companies.

MCW Energy Group Limited (TSX-V: MCW) announced the appointment of Mark Korb as Chief Financial Officer to replace Karlo Vartan who has resigned to focus on other business opportunities. Mr. Korb serves as the Chief Financial Officer or financial consultant of several companies. Mr. Korb serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Caldera Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; Fluid Spirit Holdings, LLC; and First South Africa Management. Mr. Korb also acts as the financial consultant to Propell Technologies, Inc. From 2007 to 2009 Mr. Korb was the group chief financial officer and director of Foodcorp.

Prosperity Goldfields Corp. (TSX-V: PPG) announced the appointment of Vivien Chuang as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Chuang has several years of experience in the resource and mining sector. She previously worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Charlton & Company and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University. Ms. Chuang is also CFO of a number of other junior public companies. Ms. Chuang replaces Adam Kniec who resigned as CFO.

BlackBerry Limited (TSX: BB) announced that James Yersh will replace Brian Bidulka as its Chief Financial Officer.  Yersh, who has worked at BlackBerry since 2008, previously served as Senior Vice President, Controller and as the Company’s head of Compliance.  Bidulka will stay on as a special advisor to the CEO for the remainder of the fiscal year to assist with the transition.

Canadian Pacific (TSX: CP) announced that Bart Demosky has been appointed Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective December 28, 2013.  On October 23, 2013, CP announced that Brian Grassby would retire as the company’s Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer at year-end. Demosky joins CP from Suncor Energy where he had been Chief Financial Officer since 2009.  His career at Suncor began in 2006 when he was appointed vice president and treasurer.  In 2008 Demosky was appointed Senior Vice-President Business Services.

CPP Investment Board (CPPIB) announced that Benita Warmbold will assume the role of Senior Vice-President & Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Warmbold was most recently Senior Vice-President & Chief Operations Officer. Ms. Warmbold joined CPPIB in 2008. Nick Zelenczuk, who was most recently Senior Vice-President & Chief Financial Officer, will assume the role of Senior Vice-President & Chief Operations Officer. Mr. Zelenczuk joined CPPIB in 2009.

Argex Titanium Inc. (TSX: RGX) announced the appointment of Glen Kayll as its new Chief Financial Officer.  Mr. Kayll replaces Mark Billings, who will take on the role of Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and continue as a director of the company. Mr. Kayll has 20 years of corporate finance experience, including as CFO and senior finance and operating roles with Canadian and US public companies listed on both the TSX and NASDAQ exchanges.

Innovente Inc. (TSX-V: IGE) announced the appointment of Cynthia Paquin as Vice-President, Finances of the Corporation. Ms. Paquin will officially take office on December 20, 2013, succeeding Marjolaine Giasson who will be leaving the Corporation on that date. Ms. Giasson has extensive experience in audit of public and private corporations active in various sectors in Canada as well as internationally.

Bengal Energy Ltd. (TSX: BNG) announced the appointment of Jerrad Blanchard as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Prior to its sale earlier in 2013, Mr. Blanchard served as the CFO of Winstar Resources Ltd. Prior thereto, he was a Manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP’s Audit and Assurance Group. Mr. Blanchard will be replacing Bryan Goudie, who served as Bengal’s CFO since 2006, and is resigning from the company to pursue other opportunities.

Partners Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX-V: PAR.UN) announced the departure of Heather Routly, Chief Financial Officer for Partners REIT.

Detour Gold Corporation (TSX: DGC) announced that Gerald Panneton, Detour Gold’s President and Chief Executive Officer, has resigned. The Board of Directors has appointed Paul Martin, Chief Financial Officer, as interim Chief Executive Officer. James Mavor, Vice President, Finance, has been appointed interim Chief Financial Officer during this period.

Trimel Pharmaceuticals Corporation (TSX: TRL) announced the appointment of Matthew Pfeffer to its Board of Directors. Mr. Pfeffer currently serves as the Corporate Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of MannKind Corporation, a United States based biopharmaceutical company.

Eagle Hill Exploration Corporation (TSX-V: EAG) announced the appointment of Danny Lee to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Lee has more than 18 years of experience, including eight years as the Chief Financial Officer of resource companies.

Canadian Pacific Railway Limited (TSX: CP) (NYSE: CP) announced that its chief financial officer, Brian Grassby will be retiring from the company, however will remain a key part of the senior management team until year-end to lead a successful transition.  A search process is currently underway and it is expected an announcement on a new chief financial officer will be made shortly.

Sprott Inc. (TSX: SII) and Sprott Resource Corp. (TSX: SCP) announced that Steve Yuzpe has been named President and Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of Sprott Resource Corp. Mr. Yuzpe has served as Sprott Resource Corp.’s Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) and a member of the company’s investment team since 2009. He is currently the Chairman of One Earth Farms Corp., as well as a Director of One Earth Oil and Gas Inc. Mr. Yuzpe will continue to act as Sprott Resource Corp.’s CFO on an interim basis.

Russell Breweries Inc. (TSX-V: RB) appointed Kwong Choo as new Chief Financial Officer for the Company. Mr. Kwong Choo previously served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance & Administration with Wex Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Oracle Mining Corp. (TSX: OMN) announced that Chief Financial Officer, Tiffany Grenke, has left the company. Ms. Grenke has transitioned out of the CFO role over the past two months due to personal reasons. The Corporation expects to announce a new CFO in the near term.

Miranda Gold Corp. (TSX-V: MAD) reports that Doris Meyer has notified the Company of her decision to retire as Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Meyer has served in this role since 2006. She will remain as Corporate Secretary. Len Goldsmith has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Goldsmith has over 25 years’ experience including roles as Chief Financial Officer, Canada Revenue Agency auditor, public practice accountant, manager of budgets and analysis, and accounting services manager, among others.

SelectCore Ltd. (TSX-V: SCG) announced that it has appointed Fareed Sheik as its acting Chief Financial Officer. He is currently the Managing Partner of Fareed Sheik Professional Corporation. Mr. Sheik replaces Alan Doody, who resigned as Senior Controller and Interim Chief Financial Officer to pursue other business opportunities.

Legend Gold Corp. (TSX-V: LGN) announced the appointment of David Miles as Chief Financial Officer, replacing Kyle Appleby.

Intega IT announced the addition of Maryline Cauvier as the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Ms. Cauvier was the former CFO and CEO of Code Inc.

Gatekeeper Systems Inc. (TSX-V: GSI) announced the appointment of Kevin Ma as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Kevin replaces Jonathan Jackson who has resigned as Chief Financial Officer of the Company.
