TECSYS Inc. (TSX: TCS) [MONTREAL] announced that Brian Cosgrove, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, will resign to pursue other career opportunities. Mr. Cosgrove has informed TECSYS that he has accepted a position as Chief Financial Officer of a private-equity backed company. Mr. Cosgrove will continue in his role until April 20th, 2018 to ensure an orderly transition of his responsibilities. The Company will appoint Berty Ho-Wo-Cheong, Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions and former CFO, to serve as TECSYS’s interim CFO until Mr. Cosgrove’s successor is in place.
Hydrogenics Corporation [MISSISSAUGA, Ontario] (NASDAQ: HYGS, TSX: HYG) announced that Bob Motz, the Company’s Corporate Secretary and Chief Financial Officer, has decided to retire from Hydrogenics effective May 11, 2018. The Company also announced that Marc Beisheim has been appointed as Mr. Motz’s successor. Mr. Beisheim brings over 30 years’ experience to Hydrogenics, including within both the industrial and energy fields. He was most recently Chief Financial Officer at The Canadian Press. Beisheim will join the Company effective Monday, April 9 and assume the role of Corporate Secretary & Chief Financial Officer effective Friday May 11.
Just Energy Group Inc. [TORONTO] (NYSE: JE, TSX: JE) announced that Patrick McCullough, Just Energy’s current CFO, will be appointed as President and CEO and will join the Board of Directors, effective April 1, 2018. Jim Brown, the President of Just Energy’s commercial business, will replace Mr. McCullough as CFO as of April 1, 2018. Jim Brown joined Just Energy in April 2013 as a Senior Vice President responsible for commodity settlements. Since April 2015, Jim has been the President of Hudson Energy, responsible for Just Energy’s commercial business. Prior to joining Just Energy, he was the Vice President of Accounting and Finance for Gexa Energy, a subsidiary of Nextera Energy Inc. from March 2009. Prior to that Mr. Brown was a Vice President of Accounting at Constellation Energy Resources Group from January 2007. From 2000 until 2007, he held various roles in accounting and finance at other power and gas companies and for the eight years prior to 2000, Mr. Brown was an audit manager, with an emphasis on power and gas trading companies.
Diamond Fields Resources Inc. [Vancouver] (TSX-V: DFR) announced the appointment of Jean Lindberg Charles as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of the Company. Charles replaces Earl Young who is stepping down as Chief Financial Officer and will continue in his new role as Vice President of Investor Relations. Prior to joining the Company he was CFO of Afritex. Prior to working for Afritex he was General Manager of Raphael Fishing Co. Ltd. Between 2005 and 2014 Mr. Charles held a number of senior positions, including CFO, at Sierra Rutile Limited. Mr. Charles started his career as an auditor and worked for companies including EY before joining Le Meridien Hotels and Resorts.
Braingrid Corporation [TORONTO] announced that it has appointed Douglas Harris as its Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Prior to joining Braingrid, Mr. Harris amassed over 25 years’ experience in corporate finance, private equity investing, business valuation and financial operations both as an executive and a board member.
GT Gold Corp. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: GTT) announced the departure of Mark Santarossa as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Corporate Development. Mr. Santarossa will be remaining with the Company until the end of the month to assist with transitioning the role. Paul Kania, currently serving as the Company’s Controller, will assume the Interim CFO position.
Strongbow Exploration Inc. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: SBW) announced the appointment of Glenn Kondo as Chief Financial Officer as of June 1, 2018. Kondo will replace Zara Boldt in this role, as Ms. Boldt will be leaving the Company to pursue other opportunities. Kondo was most recently with Lucara Diamond Corporation and prior to that with Anglo American. Based from London, England, Glenn will be an excellent addition to our management team.
Lucara Diamond Corp. [VANCOUVER] (TSX: LUC) announced that Zara Boldt will be assuming the role of Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of the Company. Glenn Kondo, Chief Financial Officer will be stepping down to pursue other opportunities. Most recently, Boldt served as the CFO & Corporate Secretary for Strongbow Exploration Inc. In addition, she served as the CFO and Corporate Secretary of Kaminak Gold Corporation. Prior to Kaminak, Ms. Boldt served for 8 years as the Vice-President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Stornoway Diamond Corporation. Boldt is a director and Chair of the Audit Committee for Bluestone Resources Inc. and Gold Standard Ventures Corp.
Quinsam Capital Corporation [TORONTO] (CSE: QCA) announced that Keith Li has been appointed CFO of the Company. Prior to joining Quinsam, Li held the position of Manager of External Reporting with Sears Canada Inc. Li has replaced Bryan Knebel, who has resigned as CFO.
