GoDaddy Inc. [SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.] (NYSE: GDDY) announced that Ray Winborne has joined the company as its new Chief Financial Officer. Winborne assumes the role from Scott Wagner, who is stepping into the new role of GoDaddy President and Chief Operating Officer. Winborne most recently served as CFO for First Data. Prior to First Data, Winborne held senior financial leadership roles at Delta Air Lines and AT&T, after beginning his professional career at PwC in Atlanta.
Ball Corporation [BROOMFIELD, Colo.] (NYSE: BLL) has selected Daniel J. Heinrich, former executive vice president and chief financial officer from The Clorox Company, to serve as director of the Corporation. Previous roles include senior vice president and treasurer at Transamerica Finance Corporation; senior vice president, treasurer and controller at Granite Management Company; and senior vice president, chief accounting officer and controller at First Nationwide Bank. Heinrich currently serves on the board of directors for ARAMARK and Edgewell Personal Care Company.
Health Dialog [BOSTON] announced Jeff Fields as chief financial officer. Previous positions include chief auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and vice president of accounting and corporate controller at Surgical Care Affiliates (SCA).
TreeHouse Foods, Inc. [OAK BROOK, Ill.] (NYSE: THS) announced that Dennis F. Riordan, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Interim President of Private Brands, will transition to a Senior Advisor role upon the appointment of a successor.
Quotient Technology Inc. [MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.] (NYSE: QUOT) announced that Ron J. Fior will join Quotient as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Mr. Fior was CFO of Good Technology. Prior to Good Technology, Mr. Fior spent a decade as CFO at Callidus Software. Mr. Fior has held additional CFO positions at various technology companies, including at Remedy Corporation. He also spent 13 years at the Thomson Corporation, now Thomson Reuters, as a Vice President and group CFO of several companies and divisions.
Golden Gate University [SAN FRANCISCO, CA.] announced the appointment of Bill Lee as its Vice President for Finance & Administration. For the past five years, he has held CFO positions at two Bay Area nonprofit organizations: the East Meets West Foundation and Meals on Wheels of San Francisco. Before that he was country chief financial officer (CFO) for Citibank-Asia, and co-chief financial officer and senior vice president at Visa International.
Canopy Health [WALNUT CREEK, Calif.] announced Patrick Caster as chief financial officer. Patrick Caster was most recently chief operating and financial officer for PIH Health.
Wingate Healthcare [NEEDHAM, Mass.] announced the hiring of Lisa Burgess as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, she was the Senior Vice President of Finance for Post Acute Partners. Prior to that she served as Vice President of Treasury & Portfolio Management for Benchmark Senior Living and was previously the Director of Financial Analysis at Epoch Senior Living. Before entering senior housing, Ms. Burgess held roles as a Real Estate Analyst for Harvard Private Capital Group in Boston, and as a Senior Bond Analyst for Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliff, LLP, in Los Angeles and New York.
MetaCommunications, Inc. [IOWA CITY, Iowa] announced the appointment of Scott Kokotan as Chief Financial Officer. Previously Kokotan served as the CFO and Vice Chairman for IMM, LLC. Kokotan began his financial career in accounting, consulting and investing before becoming President and CFO of Wasinger Tech.
Zelis Healthcare [BEDMINSTER, N.J. & ATLANTA] announced Charles O. Garner as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining, Mr. Garner served as Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer for MedAssets, Inc. He also served as MedAssets’ Chief Financial Officer and Head of Corporate Development. Prior to MedAssets, Mr. Garner was responsible for strategic planning and corporate development for Coca-Cola Enterprises. Earlier in his career, Mr. Garner was a management consultant with Bain & Company. Mr. Garner began his career in software design and business development at American Management Systems.
Accera, Inc. [BOULDER, Colo.] announced the appointment of C. Evan Ballantyne as chief financial officer. Mr. Ballantyne joins Accera from Agenus, Inc. where he has been the chief financial officer. Prior to Agenus, he was the chief financial officer of Synthetic Biologics, Inc. and before that, he served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Clinical Data, Inc. Mr. Ballantyne has also held chief financial officer positions at medical technology companies Avedro, Inc. and Zymequest, Inc. Earlier in his career, he served as chief operating and chief financial officer at ACNielsen Corporation and held financial positions at IMS Health and Dun & Bradstreet.
True North Therapeutics [SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.] announced the appointment of Pamela M. Wapnick as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Ms. Wapnick joins True North Therapeutics from Amgen Corporation where she held senior financial management roles from 2007 to 2016, including Vice President of Finance for Research and Development, and Vice President and Treasurer of Amgen. Prior to Amgen, she held senior financial management positions in the automotive industry, including Federal Mogul Corporation, Delphi Corporation, and General Motors Corporation.
Ophthotech Corporation [NEW YORK] (NASDAQ: OPHT) announced the election of Ian F. Smith, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Vertex Pharmaceuticals, to its Board of Directors. Mr. Smith has also been elected the Chair of the Ophthotech Audit Committee. Mr. Smith currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining Vertex, Mr. Smith served as a partner in the Life Science and Technology Practice Group of Ernst & Young LLP, an accounting firm.
Phibro [STAMFORD, Conn.] announced that it has appointed Joseph Delaney as Chief Financial officer. Mr. Delaney previously co-founded Waterville Capital LLC. He was a Founding Member, Managing Director, and Portfolio Manager of Old Lane, LP. Prior to Old Lane, Mr. Delaney worked for Morgan Stanley & Co. for 16 years, most recently serving as a Managing Director responsible for U.S. Power Trading.
Community Bank [PASADENA, Calif.] has hired J. Duncan Smith as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. Duncan started his career in public accounting, became a CPA and worked for several notable firms including Ernst and Young and Grant Thornton. Duncan went on to become the Chief Financial Officer of several Philadelphia area financial institutions including Bryn Mawr Bank Corporation (NASDAQ – BMTC), First Chester County Corporation and Security First Bank.
AstroNova, Inc. [WEST WARWICK, R.I.] (NASDAQ: ALOT) announced that Joseph P. O’Connell, the Company’s Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer, will assume the role of Vice President Business Development. John P. Jordan, formerly Vice President, CFO and Treasurer of Zygo Corporation, has been named as AstroNova’s interim CFO. Prior to that Mr. Jordan was Vice President, CFO and Treasurer of Baldwin Technology Company, Inc. for four years. Mr. Jordan also held senior finance roles at Paxar Corporation, Amscan and Bodwell Fashion Group.
Destination Maternity Corporation [MOORESTOWN, N.J.] (NASDAQ: DEST) announced that David Stern joined the Company as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. From 2012 until 2016, Mr. Stern served as Executive Vice President – Chief Financial Officer of Pep Boys – Manny, Moe & Jack. Prior to joining Pep Boys, he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer of A.C. Moore Arts and Crafts. From 2007 until 2009, Mr. Stern held roles at Coldwater Creek, including Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis and Corporate Controller. From 2000 to 2007, Mr. Stern was the Chief Financial Officer of Petro Services. Mr. Stern began his career as an internal auditor and then as a financial analyst, accounting manager and corporate controller at several companies, including Delhaize America, before joining Petro Services. Mr. Stern currently serves on the Boards of Beck Suppliers, Inc., and Camp Ockanickon, a not-for-profit camp for children.
Haemonetics Corporation [BRAINTREE, Mass.] (NYSE: HAE) announced that William P. Burke will join the Company as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Burke will join the Company directly from Medtronic, Inc. where he has served as Chief Integration Officer. Previously, he held various Finance positions of increasing responsibility over a 20-year career with Covidien and predecessor companies, including CFO – Europe, Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Portfolio Management, and Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis.
Penn National Insurance [HARRISBURG, Pa.] has elected Jacquelyn Anderson to the position of senior vice president, CFO and treasurer. Prior to her election, Anderson had been serving as the company’s director of Internal Audit, and she had served as interim CFO following the retirement of prior-CFO Gregory Stine, in June. Anderson’s election follows the July 25 resignation of CFO Lyle Rhodebeck, who retired.
Resonant Inc. [GOLETA, Calif.] (NASDAQ: RESN) announced that John Philpott, the company’s CFO, has left the company. Ross Goolsby of Bridgepoint Consulting will join the company August 1stand will become interim CFO.
Atlantic Metro Communications II, Inc. [PARSIPPANY, NJ.] announced the appointment of Roy Ceccato as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the Company. Mr. Ceccato started with Atlantic Metro in January 2013, as the principal financial representative on the Company’s outside Advisory Committee.
Advantel Networks [SAN JOSE, CA.] announced the appointment of David Black as the new Chief Financial Officer, formerly held by Advantel’s Chief Executive Officer, Tom Vignau. Prior to that, David served as a senior finance executive for GridIron Systems, Tribal Brands, Facetime Communications, and Consenty Networks. He has also served in senior financial roles at Fortinet, Extreme Networks and BEA Systems.
Organovo Holdings, Inc. [SAN DIEGO] (NYSE: ONVO) announced the appointment of Craig Kussman as chief financial officer. Kussman was most recently the chief financial officer at Alphaeon Corporation. Prior to his current role, Kussman served as chief financial officer of XIFIN, Inc. Kussman formerly served as chief financial officer and senior vice president of corporate development for Ascenta Therapeutics. Kussman has also held senior executive positions at Breach Security, Discovery Partners International, Inc., SYNAVANT Inc., Cognizant Corp., and IMS Health.
Manhattan Associates, Inc. [ATLANTA] (NASDAQ: MANH) announced the reappointment of Dennis Story as executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer.
