John T. Greene
Discover Financial Services [RIVERWOODS, IL] (NYSE: DFS) announced that John T. Greene has been named executive vice president, chief financial officer and a member of the company’s executive committee effective Sept. 18. Greene succeeds R. Mark Graf, who will remain with the company as an executive advisor until his retirement in early 2020. Greene most recently served as CFO at Bioverativ. Prior to that, he was CFO for Willis Group Holdings from 2014 to 2016, which was preceded by more than eight years at HSBC Holdings, where he held CFO positions for several divisions, including retail bank and wealth management; insurance and consumer and mortgage lending. He also held various CFO roles in his 12-year tenure with General Electric from 1993 to 2005.
Summit Wireless Technologies, Inc. [SAN JOSE, CA] (NASDAQ: WISA) announced that George Oliva has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Gary Williams will assume the role of Chief Accounting Officer and VP of Finance. Most recently, Oliva was a partner with Hardesty LLC. Oliva has held CFO positions, including Penguin Computing, StorCard, and StreamLogic. Prior to serving in such roles, Oliva was responsible for financial planning and analysis and operational support as the operations controller for Conner Peripherals and Read-Rite Corporation.
Ichor Holdings, Ltd. [FREMONT, CA] (NASDAQ: ICHR) announced that Larry J. Sparks will join Ichor as its chief financial officer (CFO), effective October 7, 2019. Sparks will take over this role from Jeff Andreson, who was promoted to president of Ichor in April 2019. Sparks joins Ichor from Applied Materials, Inc. where he has served in various financial management, controller and operational roles since 1994. Most recently Mr. Sparks served as vice president finance, silicon worldwide operations. Previous roles at Applied Materials included vice president finance and segment CFO of the Inspection Products and Display businesses, as well as earlier corporate and divisional controller positions and as vice president finance of Applied Global Services. From 2006 until 2007, Sparks left Applied Materials to become vice president finance of FormFactor, Inc., and prior to joining Applied Materials he served in various finance roles at Unisys Corporation from 1985 until 1994.
Carrols Restaurant Group, Inc. [SYRACUSE, NY] (NASDAQ: TAST) announced the death of Paul R. Flanders on September 7, 2019, who had served as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer of Carrols since 1997. Flanders’ duties are currently being assumed and performed by the existing finance and accounting team until his replacement is named.
Astute [COLUMBUS, OH] announced the addition of Phil Hoey who will serve as CFO. Hoey’s previous financial leadership roles include NBC, AOL, LexisNexis, and most recently Two Labs.
Bluegreen Vacations Corporation [BOCA RATON, FL] (NYSE: BXG) announced that Anthony M. Puleo has informed the Company that he will be retiring as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer effective September 30, 2019. Puleo will stay on with the Company in a consulting role as Advisor to the President and Chief Executive Officer. Effective September 30, 2019, the Company has appointed Raymond S. Lopez as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer. Mr. Lopez will continue to serve as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of BBX Capital Corporation (NYSE: BBX), the owner of 90.3% of Bluegreen Vacation’s common stock. Prior to joining BBX, Mr. Lopez served as Chief Accounting Officer of the Company from 2005 through 2015 and as Controller from 2004 to 2005.
Spectrum Brands Holdings, Inc. [MIDDLETON, WI] (NYSE: SPB) announced that Jeremy W. Smeltser will join the Company on October 1 as Executive Vice President. Smeltser will succeed Doug Martin as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer on or prior to December 20, 2019. Smeltser most recently was Vice President and CFO from 2015-2018 for SPX FLOW, Inc. (NYSE: FLOW) following its spinoff from SPX Corporation (NYSE: SPXC), where he was Vice President and CFO from 2012-2015. Prior to his role at SPX Flow, he served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SPX Corporation, where he held various roles, including Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Flow Technology, and became an officer of SPX Corporation in April 2009. He joined SPX Corporation in 2002 from Ernst & Young LLP, where he was an audit manager in Tampa, Florida. Prior to that, he held various positions with Arthur Andersen LLP, in Tampa, Florida, and Chicago, Illinois.
Roadrunner Transportation Systems, Inc. [DOWNERS GROVE, IL] (NYSE: RRTS) announced that Patrick (Pat) J. Unzicker has joined the company as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Unzicker served Adtalem Global Education in Chicago for the past 13 years, most recently as senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer. His 26 years of financial leadership experience also includes management positions with increasing scope and responsibilities with Whitehall Jewelers, Inc., Galileo International and Ryerson, Inc. He began his career at Price Waterhouse LLP in Chicago.
Carrier [PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL] announced the appointment of Timothy McLevish as Chief Financial Officer, effective October 1. McLevish served as a public company CFO at Walgreens Boots Alliance, Kraft, Ingersoll-Rand and Mead Corp.
UBEO Business Services [AUSTIN, TX] announced that William “Bill” Gardner has joined as chief financial officer. Most recently, Gardner served as vice president of distribution operations and integration at Masonite International. Prior to that position, he held roles of increasing responsibility over his decade with Masonite International, serving as vice president of global business services, senior director of finance, finance director of NA door and division controller.
Capital Park Holdings Corp. [DALLAS] announced the appointment of Andrew M. Barker as CFO. Prior to joining Capital Park, Barker has served in both operational and advisory roles within global consultancy firms and investments banks as well lead as operating businesses based in the U.S., Mexico, Asia, Latin America and Europe.
Soligenix, Inc. [PRINCETON, NJ] (NASDAQ: SNGX) announced that it has appointed Jonathan Guarino, as its Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, he served as Corporate Controller for Hepion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (formerly ContraVir Pharmaceuticals, Inc.). Previously, he worked as Controller and senior manager of technical accounting for Suite K Value Added Services LLC and Covance, Inc. Prior to these positions, he held accounting and finance positions of increasing importance with several companies, including PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, BlackRock, Inc. and Barnes & Noble, Inc.
ORIC Pharmaceuticals [SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA] announced that Dominic Piscitelli has been named Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining ORIC, Mr. Piscitelli was CFO of AnaptysBio. Prior to AnaptysBio, Piscitelli was Vice President of Finance, Strategy and Investor Relations at Medivation. Previously, he served in roles of increasing responsibility at Astellas Pharma and OSI Pharmaceuticals.
Sonim Technologies, Inc. [SAN MATEO, CA] (NASDAQ: SONM) appointed Bob Tirva as interim CFO, replacing Jim Walker who has stepped down as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Sonim. Previously, Tirva served as CFO of Intermedia. Prior to Intermedia, Tirva was Corporate Controller at Dropbox. Before Dropbox, Tirva spent nearly 14 years at Broadcom Corporation, where he held a range of finance roles of increasing responsibility, including Senior Vice President, Principal Accounting Officer and Vice President of Finance. Tirva also has career experience with IBM Corporation, Navistar Financial Corporation and Ernst & Young. He currently serves on the board of directors of Resonant.

Sarah Nelms
Syndicate Claim Services Inc. [INDIANAPOLIS] announced that Sarah Nelms has joined the organization as the Chief Financial & Strategic Operations Officer. Her most recent position was Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer at the Kinney Group. Previously, Ms. Nelms has served in several senior level and executive roles in numerous industries, including insurance, technology, media, healthcare and hospitality.
Salarius Pharmaceuticals [HOUSTON] (NASDAQ: SLRX) announced the appointment of Scott Jordan to the new role of Chief Business Officer and the appointment of Mark Rosenblum to the position of Executive Vice President Finance and Interim Chief Financial Officer. Jordan first joined the company as Chief Financial Officer in 2016. Prior to joining Salarius, Mr. Jordan served as Chief Financial Officer of Beta Cat Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Chief Investment Officer of Stingray Therapeutics. Mr. Jordan has also served as co-founder and advisor at Healthios Xchange and served as Vice President of Healthios Capital Markets, LLC. Rosenblum first joined Salarius as a financial consultant to assist in the recent merger of Flex Pharma, Inc. and Salarius Pharmaceuticals, LLC. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Rosenblum served as Chairman and Chief Executive Office of ActiveCare, Inc., and has served in the role of Chief Financial Officer for several publicly traded companies.
Syapse [SAN FRANCISCO] announced that Fletcher Payne has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Payne joins Syapse from Catalyst Biosciences where he served as CFO since January 2015. Previously, he served in senior financial positions at CytomX Therapeutics, Plexxikon Inc., Rinat Neuroscience Corporation, Dynavax Technologies Corporation, Cell Genesys, Abgenix, Sun Microsystems, and IBM.

Jim Edwards
Sharonview Federal Credit Union [FORT MILL, S.C.] announced its new Chief Financial Officer – Jim Edwards. Prior to coming to Sharonview, Edwards served as CFO for Chartway Federal Credit Union in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He also previously spent 13 years in strategic leadership roles – CFO and Chief Risk Officer – within BB&T’s mortgage unit. Edwards replaces outgoing CFO Steve Smith, who announced earlier in 2019 his plans to retire at year-end and after more than 20 years with Sharonview.
Electronics For Imaging, Inc. (EFI) [FREMONT, CA] has named Grant Fitz as its new chief financial officer. Fitz replaces long-time EFI executive Marc Olin, who will assume the COO role at EFI. Fitz comes to EFI from Valassis, where he also served as the CFO. Prior to that, he was the corporate vice president and CFO at Xerox Technology. Fitz also held a number of senior leadership positions at General Motors, both in Europe and the United States, and served as GM’s first chief risk officer. He also worked as the senior vice president and CFO of Nexteer Automotive.
Paycor [CINCINNATI, Ohio] announced it has appointed Adam Ante as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Ante joined Paycor in March 2017 as Vice President of Finance. Since December 2018, Adam has served as interim CFO. Previously, Ante was CFO of the Merchant Bank Channel at Worldpay (formerly known as Vantiv). Prior to CFO, Ante served many years in senior finance roles at the company, where he was responsible for business and enterprise valuation, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations support, forecasting and planning and business case development, among others. Ante began his career in retirement services with Union Central Life Insurance Company. Ante served eight years in the U.S. Army Reserve and deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003.
Aileron Therapeutics, Inc. [WATERTOWN, MA] (NASDAQ: ALRN) announced that Don Dougherty, its current Chief Financial Officer, will be leaving Aileron. All financial responsibilities are being transitioned to Richard Wanstall, who has served as the Company’s Vice President of Finance and Operations and principal accounting officer since 2018. Prior to joining Aileron, Wanstall held roles as Vice President, Finance at Moderna Therapeutics, Inc.; Senior Vice President, Global Finance at Stream Global Services, Inc.; and management roles in finance, accounting and SEC reporting for several other technology and financial services companies.
Renodis [ST PAUL, MN] announced it has named David Steichen as Director of Mergers and Acquisitions and Chief Financial Officer. Steichen has been a financially focused advisory member of the Renodis Executive Team for the past four years. Prior to his role at Renodis, Steichen was co-founder of Mayday Capital Advisors, LLC. With over 30 years as a business leader, Steichen is a 13-year veteran of Deloitte and has extensive experience serving as Chief Financial Officer and in other executive roles for large and small companies both public and private.

Thomas Leggett
Black Diamond Therapeutics, Inc. [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] announced the appointment of Thomas (Tommy) Leggett as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Leggett joins Black Diamond from Axcella Health. Before joining Axcella, Tommy was Treasurer and Head of Business Development Finance at Purdue Pharma, L.P. Previously, he was an investment banker for the healthcare groups at J.P. Morgan Securities, Lazard Frères & Company, and UBS Securities, respectively.
Curis, Inc. [LEXINGTON, MA] (NASDAQ: CRIS) announced the promotion of Bill Steinkrauss to Chief Financial Officer. Steinkrauss joined Curis in August 2016 and most recently served as Treasurer and Vice President of Finance. Prior to joining Curis, he served as Director of Technical Accounting and Reporting at Ovascience, Inc. and Senior Manager of Technical Accounting at Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Before that, Mr. Steinkrauss worked within the transaction services and assurance practices at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.
Investview Corporation [SALT LAKE CITY] (OTCQB: INVU) announced Jayme McWidener as the new Chief Financial Officer. Jayme McWidener through her firm MAC Accounting has played an instrumental role since April of 2017 in assisting the Company through the last ten quarters and two annual audits. William Kosoff, former CFO, will become Investview’s Corporate Secretary. McWidener became an auditor for Cahaba GBA in 2001 before joining HJ & Associates, LLC (“HJ”) in January 2004 as an audit staff member, eventually being promoted to an audit senior and audit manager before she became a partner at HJ in January 2014. Ms. McWidener spent just over 2 years as a partner with HJ and with its successor, Haynie & Company. In April of 2016 she established Mac Accounting Group, LLP.
Ideanomics [NEW YORK] (NASDAQ: IDEX) announced the appointment of Conor McCarthy as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Most recently, McCarthy was CFO for OS33. Previous positions include CFO roles with Intent, Convergex Group, and 9 years as CFO of the Americas for GFI Group, Inc.
Milestone Pharmaceuticals Inc. [MONTREAL AND CHARLOTTE, NC] (NASDAQ: MIST) announced the appointment of Amit Hasija as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Corporate Development. Hasija most recently served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Business Officer at Fulcrum Therapeutics. Prior to Fulcrum, he spent five years at Sanofi, most recently serving as Vice President of Integrated Care. While at Sanofi, he also served as Vice President of North America Pharmaceutical Business Development. Prior to joining Sanofi, Mr. Hasija spent more than a decade at Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank. He began his career at Merck as a Planning and Logistics Analyst and Operations Manager.
BrainStorm Cell Therapeutics Inc. [NEW YORK] (NASDAQ: BCLI) announced that Preetam Shah, Ph.D., M.B.A., has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Prior to his appointment as BrainStorm’s CFO, Dr. Shah served as Director of Healthcare Investment Banking at Barclays Capital Plc, where he focused on Life Sciences and Medical Device sectors. Prior to his role at Barclays, Dr. Shah served as Vice President of Healthcare Investment Banking at Canaccord Genuity Inc., from July 2013 to May 2016. Dr. Shah founded and served as Managing Director of Saisarva LLC., a healthcare financial consulting firm from January 2010 to June 2013. From October 2006 to December 2009, Dr. Shah served as Vice President, U.S. Operations and Investments at Reliance Capital USA Ventures LLC., an affiliate of Reliance ADA Group Companies.
