Mario Settino

Trueblu [VERONA, Italy, MILANO and MONTREAL] announced the appointment of Mario Settino as Executive VP of Corporate Development and CFO. Most recently he was CFO of BioAmber and previously President of Peds Legwear. Before this he held senior executive positions at Miranda Technologies /Grass Valley, Loblaws, Bombardier and LGS, (an IBM company).

Westport Fuel Systems Inc. [VANCOUVER] (TSX: WRPT, NASDAQ: WPRT) announced that Michael Willis has resigned as its Chief Financial Officer. Jim MacCallum, Vice-President, Finance and Corporate Controller, has been named Acting Chief Financial Officer.  Mr. MacCallum has led the corporate accounting and treasury functions since joining Westport in 2014. Prior to that he held finance leadership roles at Amica Mature Lifestyles Inc., Absolute Software and Cisco Systems.

Acasta Enterprises Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX: AEF) announced the appointment of Paul Bozoki as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Bozoki has over 10 years as serving as Chief Financial Officer of various public companies listed on the TSX and TSXV.  Bozoki replaces Michael Murphy as CFO.

COIN Hodl Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: COIN) announced the resignation of Daniel Crandall as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. The Company is pleased to announce that Aamer Siddiqui will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer. Siddiqui is a Manager of Financial Reporting at Marrelli Support Services Inc.

Golden Leaf Holdings Ltd. [TORONTO] (CSE: GLH, OTCQB: GLDFF) announced the appointment of Karyn O. Barsa as its new Chief Financial Officer. The Company’s outgoing CFO, Craig Eastwood, is leaving the Company to pursue other opportunities. Ms. Barsa’s experience includes service as a Director, CEO, CFO and COO for multi-million and billion-dollar privately held and public companies across consumer products, financial services and other industries, including Deckers Outdoor Corporation, Performance Sports Group Ltd., Coyuchi, Inc., Investors’ Circle, Smith & Hawken, Ltd. and Patagonia Inc.

Zonetail Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: ZONE) announced the appointment of Robert D.B. Suttie as the new Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Suttie is Vice President of Marrelli Support Services, serves as Chief Financial Officer or director on a number of other Canadian publicly listed companies including some listed on the Toronto Venture Exchange, Toronto Stock Exchange, and Canadian Securities Exchange. Mr. Suttie will succeed Dan Crandall who has left his role as senior manager of Marrelli Support Services.

Acceleware Ltd. [CALGARY] announced the appointment of Brian LeBlanc as Chief Financial Officer. Brian’s background features extensive experience in the oil and gas and energy services industries, as well as chemical processing, manufacturing, and wholesale/retail distribution and for the past 17 years, he has been operating an independent accounting consulting practice.

Getty Copper Inc. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: GTC) announced the appointment of Meryl R Tellis as new Chief Financial Officer. From 1979 to 2016, Meryl was a manager and director of taxation at a large forest company in BC. Meryl also chaired the tax committee for the Forest Products Association of Canada. Meryl Tellis is replacing interim CFO Shaheem Aziz Ali.

Granite Creek Copper Ltd. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: GCX) announced the appointment of Mathew Lee to the role of Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Lee replaces Michael Rowley who has stepped down from his role as CFO for Granite Creek in order to concentrate on his responsibilities as President and CEO of fellow Metallic Group company, Group Ten Metals. Mr. Rowley will continue as a Director of Granite Creek.

Champion Bear Resources Ltd. [CALGARY] (TSX-V: CBA) announced the resignation of Audrey Och as Chief Financial Officer.

Founders Advantage Capital Corp. [CALGARY] (TSX-V: FCF) announced that it has appointed Ron Gratton as interim Chief Financial Officer. Gratton is an independent Board member of the company.

Pipestone Energy Corp. [CALGARY] (TSX-V: PIPE) announced the appointment of Craig Nieboer as Chief Financial Officer to be effective February 11, 2019. Nieboer most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of CES Energy Solutions Corp. since 2008. Nieboer replaces Eva Kiefer who has served as interim Chief Financial Officer.

GreenSpace Brands Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: JTR) announced that Greg Guyatt, Chief Financial Officer, will be leaving the Company to pursue another senior finance opportunity.  GreenSpace appointed Cindy Leung, currently Vice President of Finance, to the position of Interim Chief Financial Officer.

Rigel Technologies Inc. [TORONTO] announced the appointment of John Langmuir as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. Recently he was Corporate Controller for Dundee Energy Limited Partnership. Prior to joining Dundee, Mr. Langmuir provided independent Controllership and CFO services to a number of small and mid-market organizations for approximately 10 years. In addition, Mr. Langmuir has held the role of CFO at separate times for one of Canada’s largest fuel distribution companies and an emerging biotech company. He is also the CFO of Jubilee Gold Exploration Ltd. Langmuir will succeed Keith Li, who has served as the Company’s CFO since December 2017.

Phantom Screens [ABBOTSFORD, BRITISH COLUMBIA] announced Ralph Berzins as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Phantom Screens, Berzins held the positions as the Vice President of Finance for Serta Simmons Bedding Canada and the Vice President of Financial integration for OfficeMax based in Chicago, IL.

Stamper Oil & Gas Corp. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: STMP, OTCQB: STMGF) announced the resignation of David Alexander as Chief Financial Officer. John Ryan, a member of the Board of Directors will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer on an interim basis. Ryan is the founder and co-founder of a number of resource companies including Royal Silver Mines Inc., Silver Bull Resources, Western Goldfields Inc., and U.S. Silver Corporation.

Sarment Intelligent Services [TORONTO] (TSX-V: SAIS) announced that Jonathan Chou, who had agreed to join the Company as its Chief Financial Officer, effective 7 January 2019, advised Sarment that he has declined the position due to personal reasons. Togi Gouw will remain the Company’s Chief Financial Officer.

Arianne Phosphate [SAGUENAY, QC] (TSX-V: DAN, OTC: DRRSF) announced the appointment of Andrew Malashewsky as its new Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Malashewsky will be replacing James Cowley, who has been serving as Arianne’s interim CFO. Malashewsky began his career with Grant Thorton LLP before joining JDS Energy & Mining.

Immunoprecise Antibodies Ltd. [VICTORIA] (TSX-V: IPA, OTC PINK: IPATF) announced that it has appointed Lisa Helbling as Chief Financial Officer. Helbling previously served as the CFO at Anchor Ingredients. Helbling also held the CFO position at TMI Hospitality from December 2011 – December 2017. Prior to working at TMI, Helbling worked at Otter Tail Corporation, from February 2002 – December 2011.

BWR Exploration Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: BWR) announced that Victor Hugo has replaced Daniel Crandall as its Chief Financial Officer. Hugo succeeds Daniel Crandall (CPA, CGA), who has served as the company’s CFO since October 2012.

Hugues Simard

Quebecor [MONTRÉAL] (TSX: QBR.A, QBR.B) announced that Hugues Simard, who was with Quebecor from 1998 to 2017, has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of Quebecor. Over a period of nearly 20 years, Hugues Simard occupied a series of key positions with various Quebecor subsidiaries, including Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Videotron from 2014 to 2017, Senior Vice-President, Development & Strategy of Quebecor Media, and Vice-President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Sun Media Corporation from 2007 to 2014. Until recently, he was Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Indigo Books & Music Inc. in Toronto.

Indigo Books & Music Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX: IDG) announced the forthcoming departure of Hugues Simard, the company’s Chief Financial Officer, and the appointment of Craig Loudon, Indigo’s Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer, as his successor effective February 5, 2019. Loudon has held progressively senior Finance and Supply Chain roles since joining Indigo in August 2014.

Optiva Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX: OPT) announced that Ken Taylor, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), has submitted his resignation to pursue other interests. Anin Basu, Vice President of Corporate Finance, will resume responsibilities as Interim CFO. Basu has been with Optiva since 2013 and previously served as a partner with KPMG.

dynaCERT Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: DYA, OTCQB: DYFSF) announced that it has appointed Carmelo Marrelli as the new Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Marrelli serves as Chief Financial Officer of a number of other Canadian public companies. Marelli replaces Terrence MacDonald, the previous Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of the Company.

Canbriam Energy [CALGARY] announced that Rob Froese, Chief Financial Officer, has retired. Larry Cole, Vice President Finance will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer.

Angkor Gold Corp. [SEXSMITH, Alberta] (TSX-V: ANK, OTC: ANKOF) announced the appointment of Viktoriya Griffin as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, she led the CFO services line at Clearline CPA. Viktoriya is the CFO for several public companies on the TSX Venture Exchange with national and international operations. Griffin replaces Grant T. Smith as CFO.

Novoheart Holdings Inc. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: NVH) announced that Iris Lo has tendered her resignation as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of the Company effective January 4, 2019. Camie Chan, Chief Operating Officer, will simultaneously serve as the Interim Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary during the transition.

EastWest Bioscience Inc. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: EAST) announced that Paul Marjerrison has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Since 2015, Mr. Marjerrison has owned and operated a financial management business, working as a contract Chief Financial Officer or financial advisor for several clients. From 2011 to 2015, Mr. Marjerrison worked with a mid-market corporate finance firm. Prior to 2011, Mr. Marjerrison worked in public practice with a national accounting firm. Marjerrison succeeds Geoff Balderson who has resigned as Chief Financial Officer of the Company to pursue his other business interests.

DeepRock Minerals Inc. [LANGLEY, BC] (CSE: DEEP) announced that Paul Marjerrison has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Marjerrison succeeds Geoff Balderson who has resigned to pursue his other business interests. Since 2015, Mr. Marjerrison has owned and operated a financial management business, working as a contract Chief Financial Officer or financial advisor for several clients. From 2011 to 2015, Mr. Marjerrison worked with a mid-market corporate finance firm. Prior to 2011, Mr. Marjerrison worked in public practice with a national accounting firm.

Diamond Estates Wines & Spirits Inc. [NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, ON] (TSX-V: DWS) announced that it has appointed Paul Dowdall as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, he was CFO of Ice River Springs. Prior to this he held senior finance roles at SDI Marketing, Apple Canada, Psion Inc, BlackBerry Ltd., and Bell Canada. Mr. Dowdall replaces Alan Stratton, who has served as CFO since June 2014 and has stepped down to focus on personal interests.

Distinct Infrastructure Group Inc. [TORONTO] (TSXV: DUG) announced the appointment of John Nashmi as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Nashimi replaces William Nurnberger, who has been serving as Interim Chief Financial Officer since December 2017. Nashmi has over 25 years of experience in finance and has held a number of executive financial positions in the telecommunications, technology, manufacturing and financial sectors. In addition, Mr. Nashmi brings strong experience in public company reporting, in both Canada and the United States.

Appleby spent the first ten (10) years of his career working in public accounting where he worked in both audit and advisory practices working with private companies and investment funds. Loop Industries, Inc. [MONTREAL] (NASDAQ: LOOP) announced that Nelson Gentiletti will join the Company as COO and CFO effective January 1, 2019.  Most recently, he was Chief Financial and Development Officer of Transcontinental Inc.

Sarment Intelligent Services [TORONTO] (TSX-V: SAIS) announced the appointment of Jonathan Chou as its Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this appointment, Chou held the position of Chief Financial Officer of Kulicke & Soffa, from 2010 to 2018. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of MicroPort Scientific.

FANDOM SPORTS Media Corp. [VANCOUVER] (CSE: FDM, OTC: FDMSF) accepted the resignation of Alexander Helmel as Chief Financial Officer and the Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Hollinger as Chief Financial Officer in order to fill the vacancy created. Hollinger had restructuring experience and CFO management experiences in large divisions at Merrill Lynch and Bank of America. He began his career as an Associate National Bank Examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Additional career highlights include experience with Ernst & Young’s Restructuring and Reorganization Group.

Veritas Pharma Inc. [VANCOUVER] (CSE: VRT; OTC: VRTHF) announced the resignation of David Alexander as CFO and Director, and the appointment of Peter McFadden as interim CFO. Peter began his career in London, Ontario as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. In 1995, Peter opened PMF Chartered Accountants.

Dundee Energy Limited [TORONTO] announced that Lucie Presot, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer has resigned. Robert Sellars, who has more than 35 years of experience in the financial services sector and has worked in various senior finance roles within Dundee Corporation and its subsidiary companies since 2000, will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer.

H-Source Holdings Ltd. [VANCOUVER] (TSXV: HSI; OTCQB: HSCHF) announced that it appointed Nicole Altenburg to serve as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary.  Denise Lok has resigned as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary. Altenburg has prior experience as the Principal Financial Officer of a public Company traded on both the NYSE and TSX.  She has over 17 years of experience as a controller in private industry and has also previously practiced as a certified public accountant with over a decade of experience in public accounting.

Bruno Guilmette

Boralex Inc. [MONTRÉAL] (TSX: BLX) announced the appointment of Bruno Guilmette as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective January 14, 2019. He succeeds Jean-François Thibodeau, who has announced that he plans to retire, after having assumed this role for the past 15 years. The smooth transition will thus take place with the retirement of Mr. Thibodeau at the end of March 2019. Until recently, Mr. Guilmette served as Interim Chief Investment Officer at the Canada Infrastructure Bank. He previously served as Senior Vice President, Infrastructure Investments, at PSP Investments. Mr. Guilmette also served as Senior Director, Private Equity Investments, at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. Over the course of his career, he served on the Executive Committee of the Global Infrastructure Investor Association’s Board of Directors, and served on the Boards of AviAlliance, Isolux Infrastructure, Transelec and Southern Star. Mr. Guilmette is currently on the Board of Directors of the Canada Infrastructure Bank and will continue to assume these responsibilities following his arrival at Boralex.

Calian Group Ltd. [OTTAWA] (TSX: CGY) announced that Jacqueline Gauthier has decided to retire from the Chief Financial Officer position effective March 1, 2019. Patrick Houston accepted to join Calian effective January 10, 2019. Jacqueline will remain as Calian’s CFO until March 1, 2019 and will then stay with Calian in the role of Senior Vice-President Corporate Development. Houston began his career in public accounting with Deloitte, before moving on to DragonWave, where he held progressive senior positions including Chief Financial Officer.

Polaris Infrastructure Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX: PIF) announced the appointment of Anton Jelic as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. In his new role, Mr. Jelic will be taking over for Shane Downey.  Mr. Downey has been Chief Financial Officer of the Company since 2015.

Rocky Mountain Dealerships Inc. [CALGARY] (TSX: RME) announced the resignation of its Chief Financial Officer, David Ascott, who is leaving RME effective January 11, 2019, to pursue an opportunity in another industry. Mr. Ascott has served as RME’s CFO since August 2011.

Wallbridge Mining Company Limited [TORONTO] (TSX: WM) announced the appointment of Brian Penny as Chief Financial Officer. During his career, Mr. Penny has been instrumental in the growth of numerous companies, including as CFO of many publicly listed mining companies such as Kinross Gold, Silver Bear Resources, Western Goldfields Inc. and most recently with New Gold Inc.

Peekaboo Beans Inc. [Vancouver] (CSE: BEAN, OTCQB: PBBSF) announced that Nikki Mayer has resigned as a director, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of the Company to pursue other opportunities. David Fong has been appointed interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Fong has a long-time history with Peekaboo Beans working in a financial consulting capacity for over 5 years. He obtained his Chartered Accountant (CPA) designation with BDO Canada LLP, specializing in assurance for public multi-national clients in a variety of industries including mining, oil and gas, technology, manufacturing and real estate.

Majesta Minerals Inc. [Toronto] announced that Gabriel Nachman has resigned from the Board of Directors as well as from his position as Chief Financial Officer due to health reasons. Khurram Qureshi, a current director of the Board, was also appointed to act as Chief Financial Officer.

Divestco Inc. [Calgary] (TSX-V: DVT) announced the appointment of Ruth Summers as CFO. Ms. Summers was most recently working for a public oil and gas company in treasury and strategy.

Pioneering Technology Corp. [MISSISSAUGA] (TSX-V: PTE, OTC: PTEFF) announced the recent departure of James McEwen, Chief Financial Officer. Mr. McEwen resigned in order to accept a position as Chief Financial Officer with a global, privately-owned company. Dan MacDonald will add interim CFO to his current role as President of the company.

Green Relief Inc. [HAMILTON, ON] announced the appointment of Andrew Pegg as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Pegg joins Green Relief from Spin Master, where he served as Vice President of Finance since 2013. Previously, Mr. Pegg was the Vice President of Finance and Business Planning for Latin America and Canada at Revlon. Mr. Pegg began his career as a Financial Analyst at Citytv, and has since held progressively senior finance roles with a number of top-tier companies, including PepsiCo and Corby Spirit and Wine.

Boston Pizza International Inc. [VANCOUVER] announced that Wes Bews will step down as Chief Financial Officer of BPI and will be leaving the company effective December 31, 2018 to pursue other interests.  In conjunction with this departure, Mr. Bews will also step down as a Director and the Chief Financial Officer of Boston Pizza GP Inc., the managing general partner of Boston Pizza Royalties Limited Partnership, administrator of the Boston Pizza Royalties Income Fund. Robert Kirincic, the Vice President, Finance of Treliving Management Services Ltd. will be appointed on an interim basis as a Director and the Vice President, Finance of Boston Pizza GP Inc.

NXT Energy Solutions Inc. [CALGARY] (TSX: SFD; OTCQB: NSFDF) announced that Eugene Woychyshyn, NXT’s Corporate Controller, has been appointed Interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Woychyshyn has been serving as NXT’s Controller since late November 2017. He has extensive international experience in North America, Europe and Asia working in numerous industries and has previous experience in the CFO role of a TSX Venture listed company.

Exchange Income Corporation [WINNIPEG] (TSX: EIF) announced that Tammy Schock, the current Chief Financial Officer of EIC, will be leaving the Corporation in March of 2019 to assume the role of Chief Accounting Officer with one of the largest U.S.-based global insurance and annuities providers.

Nutritional High International Inc. [TORONTO] (CSE: EAT, OTCQB: SPLIF) announced the appointment of Michael DiNapoli as Chief Financial Officer, effective January 1, 2019. Mr. Siciliano joins Nutritional High from Canna Security America, where he served as President and Chief Financial Officer for the past last three (3) years. Mr. DiNapoli joins Nutritional High from family owned Clos Du Val Winery, where he served as Chief Financial Officer since January 2018.

CardioComm Solutions, Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: EKG) confirmed the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”), Anne Burpee. Previous employers where Ms. Burpee has worked in a senior capacity include: AON Hewitt, Global Aerospace Underwriting Managers, South Western Insurance Group, Canadian Tire, and Sears Canada. Burpee replaces outgoing CFO John Overall.

1933 Industries Inc. [VANCOUVER] (CSE: TGIF, OTCQB: TGIFF) announce the appointment of Ryan Maarschalk as Chief Financial Officer. He was CFO of a large privately-held company in British Columbia. Prior to that, he was a successful entrepreneur and co-founder of a restaurant chain. Maarschalk replaced outgoing CFO Michael Hopkinson.

LottoGopher Holdings Inc. [Vancouver] (CSE: LOTO, OTCQB: LTTGF) announced that Ali Zamani, a current director of the Company, has been appointed as interim Chief Financial Officer.

Koios Beverage Corp. [VANCOUVER] (CSE: KBEV, OTC: KBEVF) announced that it has engaged the services of Theo van der Linde as its chief financial officer (“CFO”). Mr. van der Linde has worked and is currently working on projects in South Africa, West-Africa, East-Africa, Peru, United Kingdom, Sri-Lanka, the United States and Norway. He has served as a CFO and director for a number of TSX Venture Exchange and Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) listed companies over the past several years.
