iNovia Capital [MONTREAL] announced Patrick Pichette (former CFO Alphabet/Google) and Dennis Kavelman (former CFO/COO RIM/Blackberry) have joined as General Partners.
Cequence Energy Ltd. [CALGARY] (TSX: CQE) announced that David Gillis, the Company’s Executive Vice President and CFO, has resigned his positions to pursue other opportunities. Howard Crone has agreed to assume the role of Executive Vice President and Interim CFO of Cequence.
Munich Re, Canada (Life and Health) [TORONTO] announced the appointment of Rebecca Rycroft to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Rycroft most recently held the position of Senior Principal at Oliver Wyman where her role included serving as the Appointed Actuary of various Life Insurers.
Canada House Wellness Group Inc. [TORONTO] (CSE: CHV) announced the appointment of Paul Hart as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Hart is a seasoned Chief Financial Officer with over twenty-five years of leadership experience with public companies (TSX, TSX-V, NASDAQ), spanning the clean technology, genomics, software, internet, venture capital and financial services industries. He has been a director on both public and private company Boards, as well as heading both Audit and Disclosure Committees. Hart replaces Mike Johnston as CFO.
Squire Mining Ltd. [VANCOUVER] (CSE: SQR) announced the appointment of Rich Wheeless as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, he was the Chief Financial Officer for the security software company Rivetz, Inc., which recently completed a $19 million ICO. Previous to that, he was CFO of LaunchKey, Inc. and CFO of Pilus Energy. Previously, he was Director of Finance and Assistant Treasurer of Xtek, Inc. He has also held managerial posts at Johnson and Johnson, as well as Cardinal Health. Mr. Wheeless originally started his career in the private equity division at Citigroup.
Skyline Investments Inc. [Toronto] (Tel Aviv: SKLN) announced that Robert Waxman has joined Skyline as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Prior to this appointment, Mr. Waxman was the Real Estate Practice leader for Deloitte’s Finance Modernization & Effectiveness advisory group. Previously Mr. Waxman held the CFO position at real estate company CHC Student Housing Group of Companies, and prior to this was a senior investment professional at TD Newcrest, National Bank and Merrill Lynch. Skyline is further announcing that Vadim Shub, Skyline’s current CFO, will assume the role of Executive Vice President (“EVP”).
Fort St. James Nickel Corp. [Vancouver] (TSX-V: FTJ.H) announced that is has appointed Nicolette Keith as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Ms. Keith has previously acted as Chief Financial Officer of public companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and held a senior accounting role for a company listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
