Organigram Holdings Inc. [MONCTON, New Brunswick] (NASDAQ: OGI, TSX: OGI) announced that Paolo De Luca, the Company’s current Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) has been appointed Chief Strategy Officer and Derrick West, currently on the Company’s Board of Directors, is joining the Company as its CFO. West served as Chair of the Audit Committee of Organigram’s Board of Directors from December 2017 to February 2020 and also more recently, as a member of the Investment Committee. West was the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of Partners REIT, from 2014 until December 2019. He previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of Landdrill International. Additionally, West served as the Vice-President of Accounting and Administration for Plazacorp Retail Properties Limited (renamed Plaza Retail REIT). In concert with his appointment as Chief Financial Officer West has resigned from Organigram’s Board of Directors.
Trevali Mining Corporation [VANCOUVER] (TSX: TV, OTCQX: TREVF) announced that Gerbrand Van Heerden has departed as Trevali’s Chief Financial Officer. The Company also announced that Matthew Quinlan has been appointed Interim Chief Financial Officer after having supported Trevali in a consulting capacity over the last 5 months. Quinlan most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of Dominion Diamond Corporation and prior to that as Managing Director & Co-Head of CIBC’s Global Mining Investment Banking group.
RNC Minerals [TORONTO] (TSX: RNX) announced Barry Dahl has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Dahl replaces former CFO, Tim Hollaar, who will assume the role of Vice President, Finance. Most recently, Dahl was the CFO of Excelsior Mining Corp. Prior to that, he spent five years as the CFO of Klondex Mines. Prior to that, he was CFO of Argonaut Gold.
CubicFarm® Systems Corp. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V:CUB) announced that Tim Fernback has joined the Company as its interim Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Fernback replaces outgoing interim CFO Rodrigo Santana as he resumes his role as Chief Operating Officer (“COO”). Fernback held progressively senior executive officer positions within growing businesses, including ModoHR Technologies, Upstream Biosciences and Ronin8 Technologies. Fernback has served on the board of numerous companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. He currently holds directorships in TSXV-listed Deep-South Resources, Nevada Energy Metals, Surge Exploration and Tri Capital Opportunities.
Dolly Varden Silver Corporation [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: DV) announced that it has appointed Ann Fehr as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary. Fehr has held part-time officer positions for venture listed companies since 2009 and is the founder and president of Fehr & Associates. Fehr replaces Carla Hartzenberg.
Environmental Waste International Inc. [Toronto] (TSX-V: EWS) announced the appointment of Jeffrey Stoss as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Stoss is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of the outsourced finance services firm, Positive Venture Group Inc. He has previously served as CFO for publicly traded companies and technology start-ups.
Geyser Brands Inc. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: GYSR) announced the appointment of Shawn Balaghi as the Chief Financial Officer, following the resignation of Andreas Thatcher as the interim CFO. Balaghi served as the CFO for several publicly listed companies and has worked with some of the largest independent auditing firms in Canada and the US.
