DAVIDsTEA Inc. [MONTREAL] (NASDAQ: DTEA) announced the appointment of Frank Zitella as Chief Financial Officer and member of the executive management team, effective December 10, 2018. Most recently, Zitella was CFO and Treasurer of Loop Industries, Inc. Prior to that and for more than a decade, Mr. Zitella was CFO of DST Health Solutions, a subsidiary of SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc.. From 1998 to 2006, he was CFO of International Financial Data Services, a joint-venture between SS&C and State Street Bank. Earlier in his career, Frank gained M&A and transaction experience as a senior manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He also previously worked as a senior internal auditor for Coca-Cola.

Resolute Forest Products Inc. [MONTRÉAL] (NYSE: RFP, TSX: RFP) announced the appointment of Remi Lalonde as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Lalonde succeeds Jo-Ann Longworth, who will be retiring after a distinguished career, including the past seven years as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Resolute. Mr. Lalonde had been serving as Vice President, Strategy and Corporate Development, since May 2018. Previously, he was General Manager of Resolute’s pulp and paper mill in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Before taking a leadership role in operations, Mr. Lalonde was Treasurer and Vice President, Investor Relations. He initially joined the company as Senior Counsel, Securities, following six years at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York. Ms. Longworth will serve as a special advisor to Mr. Lalonde until January 31, 2019.

Sandy Lake Gold Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: SLAU) announced that Marie-Josée Audet has stepped down as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company and Yajian Wang has been appointed to the position of CFO. The Company wishes to thank Ms. Audet for her services over the past three years. Ms. Wang has 25 years of financial and accounting experience.

Avino Silver & Gold Mines Ltd. [VANCOUVER] (TSX: ASM, NYSE American: ASM) announced that Malcolm Davidson, Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”), will depart the Company. Nathan Harte, Avino’s Corporate Controller, will act as interim CFO.

ElectraMeccanica Vehicles Corp. [VANCOUVER] (NASDAQ: SOLO) announced the appointment of Bal Bhullar as its Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Bhullar will succeed Kulwant Sandher, who will continue as a consultant to the Company to ensure a smooth transition. Ms. Bhullar most recently served as CEO of BKB Management Ltd., a firm she founded in 2005 to provide CFO and corporate governance services to public and private companies, prior to joining Electra Meccanica as a full-time CFO.

Kintavar Exploration Inc. [MONTREAL] (TSX-V: KTR) announced that Mathieu Bourdeau will be joining the corporation as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Mr. Bourdeau spent 6 years at Deloitte working as a Director of Audit and Consulting Services and later as financial controller for Explorance Inc.

Delrey Metals Corp. [Vancouver] (CSE: DLRY) announced the appointment of Alastair Brownlow as the Company’s new Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Brownlow succeeds Ming Jang who has resigned from his positions as director and Chief Financial Officer of the Company. The Company wishes to thank Mr. Jang for his service and contributions as the former CFO and as a director of the Company. Mr. Brownlow also previously worked as an auditor in the British Virgin Islands specializing in financial and regulatory reporting of public and private fund and trust companies. Prior to this, Mr. Brownlow worked for a Canadian chartered accountant firm where he specialized in the mining industry.

RESAAS Services Inc. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: RSS, OTCQB: RSASF) announced the appointment of Annie Chan as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Ms. Chan was the Chief Financial Officer at Urban Communications Inc. Previous to Urban, Ms. Chan was the Chief Financial Officer for two TSX-traded mining companies. Ms. Chan also held senior finance positions with an international financial institution.

GreenPower Motor Company Inc. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: GPV, OTCQX: GPVRF) announced the appointment of Michael Sieffert as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) effective December 1, 2018.  Mark Achtemichuk will serve as the CFO to November 30, 2018 and then will continue as an independent member of the Board of Directors. For the past seven years, Mr. Sieffert worked in various roles at Seaspan Corporation, most recently as Director, Corporate Finance.

HIVE Blockchain Technologies Ltd. [ZUG, Switzerland and VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: HIVE, OTC: HVBTF) announced that it has appointed Darcy Daubaras as Chief Financial Officer. Daubaras replaces Jessica Van Den Akker who has resigned from the Company. Prior to joining HIVE, Darcy was a member of the executive team at FinancialCAD Corporation. Mr. Daubaras has previously served as the Chief Financial Officer for Canadian listed public companies as well as serving as the Director of Corporate Accounting with Mercer International.
