Granite Creek Copper Ltd. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: GCX) announced the appointment of Mathew Lee to the role of Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Lee replaces Michael Rowley who has stepped down from his role as CFO for Granite Creek in order to concentrate on his responsibilities as President and CEO of fellow Metallic Group company, Group Ten Metals. Mr. Rowley will continue as a Director of Granite Creek.

Champion Bear Resources Ltd. [CALGARY] (TSX-V: CBA) announced the resignation of Audrey Och as Chief Financial Officer.

Founders Advantage Capital Corp. [CALGARY] (TSX-V: FCF) announced that it has appointed Ron Gratton as interim Chief Financial Officer. Gratton is an independent Board member of the company.

Pipestone Energy Corp. [CALGARY] (TSX-V: PIPE) announced the appointment of Craig Nieboer as Chief Financial Officer to be effective February 11, 2019. Nieboer most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of CES Energy Solutions Corp. since 2008. Nieboer replaces Eva Kiefer who has served as interim Chief Financial Officer.

GreenSpace Brands Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: JTR) announced that Greg Guyatt, Chief Financial Officer, will be leaving the Company to pursue another senior finance opportunity.  GreenSpace appointed Cindy Leung, currently Vice President of Finance, to the position of Interim Chief Financial Officer.

Rigel Technologies Inc. [TORONTO] announced the appointment of John Langmuir as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. Recently he was Corporate Controller for Dundee Energy Limited Partnership. Prior to joining Dundee, Mr. Langmuir provided independent Controllership and CFO services to a number of small and mid-market organizations for approximately 10 years. In addition, Mr. Langmuir has held the role of CFO at separate times for one of Canada’s largest fuel distribution companies and an emerging biotech company. He is also the CFO of Jubilee Gold Exploration Ltd. Langmuir will succeed Keith Li, who has served as the Company’s CFO since December 2017.

Hut 8 Mining Corp. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: HUT, OTCQX: HUTMF) appointed Jimmy Vaiopoulos as its Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary, effective July 10, 2018.  Vaiopoulos joins Hut 8 following his role as CFO with a TSXV-listed commercial solar solutions provider, where he served since 2015.  Prior to that role, he worked with KPMG in both audit and advisory practices with a focus on energy and infrastructure markets.

GreenSpace Brands Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: JTR) announced the appointment of Greg Guyatt as Chief Financial Officer. Guyatt previously held executive roles as Vice President, Finance at Sears Canada and Vice President, Controller at Biovail Corporation. Most recently, Mr. Guyatt held the position of Senior Vice President, Finance at KingSett Capital. Mr. Guyatt and began his career at Deloitte & Touche and as an investment banker at UBS Warburg in the United Kingdom. Cindy Leung will be stepping down as interim CFO and will continue in her role as Vice President of Finance.

Waste Connections, Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX/NYSE: WCN) announced that, effective July 1, 2018, Mary Anne Whitney, Senior Vice President – Finance, will succeed Worthing Jackman as Chief Financial Officer.  Mary Anne has had extensive experience with the Company since 2006.

Big Rock Brewery Inc. [CALGARY] (TSX: BR) announced that Chief Financial Officer, Barbara Feit, has resigned from her position, effective June 12, 2018.

Strongbow Exploration Inc. [VANCOUVER] announced the appointment of Matthew Hird as Chief Financial Officer. Hird spent over eight years at Kaz Minerals plc, including six years as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to his appointment at Kaz Minerals plc, he was Company Secretary and Group Reporting Manager at Vedanta Resources plc. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer at African Minerals Limited and more recently, as Chief Financial Officer at Sierra Rutile Limited. Prior to his work in the natural resources sector, he spent nine years at Deloitte.

Axion Ventures Inc. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: AXV) announced the appointment of Ka Kong (Steve) Ng as the Company’s new Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Ng joins Axion Ventures with more than 15 years of experience in the public accounting industry in China and Hong Kong where he was most recently a Partner at Grant Thornton.

GreenSpace Brands Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: JTR) announced the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, Keith Jackson has resigned. Cindy Leung, Vice President of Finance, will serve as interim CFO. Leung joined GreenSpace in November 2015 and has previously acted as interim CFO for GreenSpace during a period in 2017. Prior to joining GreenSpace, Cindy had over ten years of experience in public accounting, assurance and tax.

ESI Energy Services Inc. [CALGARY] (CSE: OPI) announced that Ted Rigaux has resigned from the position of Chief Financial Officer of ESI for personal reasons. Rigaux plans to go on parental leave until October 1, 2018, when he will return to ESI. The Company has appointed Priyanka Bambaranda as interim Chief Financial Officer.  Bambaranda has been employed by the Company since April 2013 as a Senior Accountant, progressing to Corporate Controller in October 2014. Prior to that, she held a number of senior accounting positions, including 10 years as a Senior Accountant with a major engineering and construction company.

Sundial Growers Inc. [MD ROCKY VIEW, AB] welcomed Jim Keough as the company’s Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Prior to joining Sundial, Keough worked for 20 years as CFO of the Bumper Group of Companies. He has also worked locally and internationally for major accounting firms.

MLG Blockchain Consulting [TORONTO] announced the addition of Kyle Fry as Chief Financial Officer. Kyle is also a Certified Blockchain Expert (Blockchain Council) and is involved in various blockchain network groups such as Columbia Blockchain Alliance (CBA), BlockchainNYC.org, and Blockchain Education Network (BEN). Prior to his role at MLG Blockchain, Kyle spent almost 10 years at Credit Suisse in the M&A.

HBC [TORONTO & NEW YORK] (TSX: HBC) announced Edward Record has been named Chief Financial Officer, effective August 28, 2017. He joins HBC after more than three years as Chief Financial Officer for J. C. Penney Company, Inc. (“JCP”). Prior to JCP, Record most recently served as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer of Stage Stores, and previously as its Chief Financial Officer. Record has also held executive leadership positions in finance at Kohl’s and Belk. Record began his extensive career in retail at Kaufmann’s, a division of The May Department Store Company, holding various roles across the finance department, ultimately working his way up to VP of Finance and Controller. Mr. Record succeeds Paul Beesley, who, as previously announced is leaving HBC. Mr. Beesley has agreed to remain with the Company for a period of time to ensure a smooth transition.

Clarke Inc. [HALIFAX] (TSX: CKI) announced that Kim Langille has resigned as Chief Financial Officer, effective August 30, 2017, in order to pursue a financial position at another company. Clarke announced that Stephen Cyr, Clarke’s Vice President of Accounting, has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Cyr has acted as Manager of Finance, Controller and then Vice President of Accounting at Clarke since 2008 and previously acted as Senior Accountant with a professional services firm.

Ashanti Sankofa, Inc. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: ASI) announced that William Pettigrew has resigned as a director and as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. The Company has appointed Nancy Zhao as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company to replace Mr. Pettigrew.  Ms. Zhao has experience in accounting and finance for various industries including mining, realtor development, property management, sports entertainment, marketing and farming. She also currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer of Blox, Inc.

Parkit Enterprise Inc. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: PKT, OTCQX: PKTEF) announced that it has appointed JoAnne Odette to the office of Chief Financial Officer of the Company, replacing Nigel Kirkwood. Mr. Kirkwood has resigned his office with Parkit to pursue another opportunity. Ms. Odette has worked closely with Mr. Kirkwood and Parkit’s management team over the last 14 months.

GreenSpace Brands Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: JTR) announced the hiring of a new Chief Financial Officer, Keith Jackson.  Prior to joining Greenspace, Keith was the Chief Financial Officer of Worldlynx Wireless. Keith has held Executive Finance roles at Worldlynx Wireless, Bell Canada, Virgin Mobile and General Motors. Cindy Leung will be stepping down as interim CFO and will continue in her role as VP of Finance.

TerraVest Capital Inc. [VEGREVILLE, AB] (TSX: TVK) announced the appointment of Sebastien Provost as Chief Financial Officer of TerraVest. Mr. Provost has been with TerraVest since 2016 when he joined the company as Vice President of Finance for Gestion Jerico Inc. Mexican Gold Corp. [THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO] (TSX-V: MEX) announced the appointment of Gavin Nelson as Chief Financial Officer. He succeeds Vivian Gu who recently accepted an accounting position with another employer.

Omineca Mining and Metals Ltd. [CRANBROOK, BRITISH COLUMBIA] (TSX-V: OMM) announced that Andrew Davidson, a current director, will assume the role of CFO and Corporate secretary replacing Glen Diduck as Chief Financial Officer.

Mission Ready Services Inc. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: MRS) announced the appointment of Dong Shim as CFO and Secretary of the Company. Nicolette A. Keith has stepped down as CFO and Secretary of the Company to pursue another professional opportunity. Mr. Shim has served as an audit partner on numerous audit engagements with a mid-size firm located in Vancouver, British Columbia, where he audited various publicly traded companies, primarily focusing on junior mining, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, and high-tech industries. As an audit partner, Mr. Shim also assisted various start-up companies in achieving public listings on the TSX Venture Exchange, Canadian Securities Exchange and the OTC Market. Mr. Shim is currently the President of Golden Tree Capital Corp. and SHIM Accounting Corporation with a primary focus on business advisory, corporate consulting and regulatory filings both in the United States and Canada.

Altair Resources Inc. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: AVX) announced the resignation of Robert Naso as Chief Financial Officer of the Company and the appointment of Nick DeMare as interim Chief Financial Officer.  Mr. Naso will remain as a director of the Company. Mr. DeMare CPA, CA, is the President and principal of Chase Management Ltd.

GreenSpace Brands Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: JTR) announced the forthcoming departure of Mathew Walsh, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, who will be undertaking a geographical move for personal reasons following the completion of the Company’s fourth quarter results. The Company has identified a well-qualified replacement who the Company expects to announce at a later date. Through the interim period, Cindy Leung, GreenSpace’s Vice President Finance, will be appointed to the position of Interim Chief Financial Officer effective June 22, 2017. Cindy Leung joined GreenSpace in November 2015. Cindy is currently actively involved in managing all the internal finance functions within the Company. Prior to joining GreenSpace, Cindy had over ten years of experience in public accounting, assurance and tax.
