Inventronics Limited [CALGARY] (TSX-V: IVX) announced that Garth Wilson, who has been working a shortened work-week since August 2018, resigned from his position as Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation. Mr. Wilson will continue to perform regular monthly accounting activities for the Corporation on a contract basis.
Leviathan Cannabis Group Inc. [Toronto] (CSE: EPIC) announced it has appointed Jayne Beckwith as Interim Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Beckwith currently serves as Leviathan’s Chief Communications Officer. Beckwith replaces Martin J. Doane as Interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Doane will continue in his role as Leviathan’s Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board.
Aurania Resources Ltd. [Toronto] (TSX-V: ARU, OTCQB: AUIAF) announce the appointment of Tony Wood as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Wood’s executive experience includes oversight of finance and operations, strategic planning and organizational development of various publicly-traded exploration and development companies. Wood has been consulting for the Company on a part-time basis since January 2019.
Vanstar Mining Resources Inc. [LA PRAIRIE, QC] announced that Michel Perron has been appointed as Interim Chief Financial Officer of the Company. He has practiced has a sole practitioner from 1979 to 2005, and since 2005 has been acting as president of a private consulting firm. Mr. Perron has been involved for thirty years with various public companies working in the field of mineral exploration as an external auditor, director, officer or consultant. Perron succeeds Denis Tremblay as CFO.
RYU Apparel Inc.[VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: RYU.V, OTCQB: RYPPF) announced that Pedro Villa, left his position of CFO and Secretary, and remains as a consultant for the transition period. The company also announced that appointment of Brett Pawson, as interim Chief Financial Officer and interim Corporate Secretary, effective April 24th, 2019, for the transition period. Mr. Pawson has been the SVP of Retail and Operations since March 2017 and previously the VP of Retail beginning March 2015.
Defense Metals Corp. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: DEFN, OTCQB: DFMTF) announced Ryan Cheung will be resuming the role of Chief Financial Officer. Richard Grayston is retiring from the CFO role. Cheung is owner of MCPA services. Cheung has been providing accounting, management, securities regulatory compliance services to private and public-listed companies. Mr. Cheung also serves as an officer and/or director of a number of public-listed companies.
WeedMD Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: WMD, OTCQX: WDDMF) announced the appointment of Nichola Thompson to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Thompson previously worked at Discovery Air, Deloitte & Touche and Siemens Canada. She joined WeedMD in January 2018.
