Q4 Inc. [TORONTO] announced that Stephen Devito has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Stephen spent the past eight years as CFO at Marketwired and led the successful sale of the company to Nasdaq Inc. in 2016. Prior to Marketwired, Stephen was CFO of Second Cup where he helped lead the company through an IPO in 2004.

Axios Mobile Assets Corp. [MISSISSAUGA] (TSX-V: AXA) announced that Michael Cooke has resigned as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer and that Marc Topacio the Company’s former Chief Financial Officer has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer on an interim basis.

Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. [TORONTO and NEW YORK] (TSX and NASDAQ: MPVD) announced the appointment of Perry Ing to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Ing’s previous positions include Chief Financial Officer of Kirkland Lake Gold (2015 – 2016), Chief Financial Officer of McEwen Mining (2008 – 2015), Consultant to Barrick Gold (2005 – 2008) and Corporate Controller of Goldcorp (2003 – 2005).

Mobio Technologies Inc. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: MBO), announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Kevin Rathbun, has resigned his position to pursue other interests. Mobio has appointed Sheri Rempel Wennberg as CFO effective February 1, 2017. Immunovaccine Inc. [HALIFAX] (TSX: IMV, OTC: IMMVF) announced that Pierre Labbé will join the Company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective February 20, 2017. Mr. Labbé served in the capacity of CFO with, among others, Medicago Inc. and Leddartech Inc.

Pure Nickel Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: NIC) (the “Company”) announces that Thomas S. Kofman has been appointed as interim Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Kofman has been a director of the Company since 2012 and has served on the Audit Committee since that time. Mr. Kofman has over 30 years of experience in North American Capital Markets as both an issuer and banker.

Rusoro Mining Ltd. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: RML) announced the appointment of Jessica Van Den Akker as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Saputo Inc. [Montréal] (TSX: SAP) announced that Louis-Philippe Carrière, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer and Secretary, has advised that he will retire effective August 1, 2017, after 30 years with the Company. On such date, Maxime Therrien will be appointed Chief Financial Officer and Secretary. Mr. Therrien is currently the Company’s Executive Vice President – Finance & Administration. He has been with the Company since 1996, and has held several senior management positions in finance and administration, both at the divisional and at the corporate level. Starting August 1, 2017, Mr. Carrière will act as a senior advisor to the Company. The Board of Directors of the Company will propose Mr. Carrière as a new nominee for election to the Board at the next meeting of shareholders to be held on August 1, 2017.

Zafin [TORONTO] announced that Sibel Turkmen has joined the company’s Executive Leadership Team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Turkmen joins Zafin from D+H Canada, where she was Global Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. Prior to her role at D+H, she held Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer positions at Turkish Telecom GSM-Business-Avea, Vodafone Turkey, Deutsche Bank, Finansbank and Anadolu Group for 15 years.

VersaBank [LONDON, Ontario] (TSX: VB) and PWC Capital Inc. (TSX: PWC) jointly announced that each has appointed Shawn Clarke as its Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Mr. Clarke joined VersaBank in 2005 and has held a number of executive roles of increasing responsibility including Chief Risk Officer and was appointed to Chief Operating Officer in 2013. Mr. Clarke will retain his title of and responsibilities associated with Chief Operating Officer subsequent to his appointment to CFO. The effective date of Mr. Clarke’s appointment is January 31, 2017. Clarke replaces Barry Walter in the role.

Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. [TORONTO and NEW YORK] (TSX: MPV, NASDAQ: MDM) announced that Bruce Ramsden, Vice President Finance and CFO, has tendered his resignation with effect from January 31, 2017. Pending the appointment of Mr. Ramsden’s successor, Jennie Ly, Controller of Mountain Province, will serve as acting CFO with effect from February 1, 2017.

Tornado Global Hydrovacs Ltd. [CALGARY] (TSX-V: TGH) announced that Connie Ping, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President Administration is no longer an officer of Tornado. Bill Rollins has been appointed Interim Chief Financial Officer of the Company.

Urban Communications Inc. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: UBN) announced the appointment of Annie Chan as its Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Chan has held senior accounting and finance roles at both private and public companies including HSBC Bank Canada, Bralorne Gold Mines Ltd. and Levon Resources Ltd. Ms. Chan replaces interim CFO Julie van Baarsen.

Alset Energy Corp. [THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO] (TSX-V: ION) announced the appointment of Albert Wu as the Company’s new CFO, replacing Evan Asselstine.

Cuba Ventures Corp. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: CUV) announced the appointment of Tim Fernback as its Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Mr. Fernback ran the technology consulting practice for Discovery Capital Corporation. Mr. Fernback went on to run the Investment Banking and Corporate Finance Departments for Wolverton Securities Ltd. Currently, Mr. Fernback is Regional Director of The CFO Centre Limited. Mr. Fernback has served as both a Director and Officer of several public companies.

Rugby Mining Limited [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: RUG) announced that it has appointed Alejandro Adams as the Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of the Company. Adams replaces Jonathan Hermanson in this position, who will be moving into the new role of Vice President, Corporate Development.

W2 Energy, Inc. (OTC: WTWO) announced it has appointed Dr. Wan Hasni PhD as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Arcturus Ventures Inc. (TSX-V: AZN) announced the departure of long-time CFO and Director Shiraz Hussein. Brandon Macdonald will take over Mr. Hussein’s duties as CFO and Secretary.

DB Schenker in Canada announced that Michael Schulz has been appointed Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Schenker of Canada Limited, replacing Petra Kuester who has relocated to the DB Schenker Logistics U.K. corporate office in London as CFO. Michael Schulz joined DB Schenker in Canada from DB ProjektBau, the engineering company of DB’s infrastructure division, where he held the role of CFO.

Augusta Industries Inc. (TSX-V: AAO) announced that Momenur Rahman has been appointed Chief Financial Officer.

Amorfix Life Sciences Ltd. (TSX: AMF) announced that Warren Whitehead has joined the Company as Chief Financial Officer.  Janet Clennett will continue on as part of the management team and will assume the position of Director of Finance. Prior to joining Amorfix, Mr. Whitehead was CFO at Arius Research Inc. Prior to that he was CFO at Labopharm, Inc. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of PlantForm Corporation and of Lorus Therapeutics.

Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. (TSX: MPV) announced the appointment of Bruce Ramsden as Vice President Finance and CFO-designate. Most recently, Mr. Ramsden served as Vice President Finance, CFO and Corporate Secretary of Andean American Gold Corp. Prior to that, he served as VP Finance and CFO of St Andrew Gold Fields Ltd. (2002 – 2005) and Vaaldiam Mining Inc., formerly Tiomin Resources Inc. (2005 – 2010). Mr. Ramsden will also assume the position of chief financial officer and corporate secretary effective May 1, 2013, upon the departure of the Company’s current CFO and corporate secretary on April 30, 2013.

Mundoro Capital Inc. (TSX-V: MUN) appointed Tom Wilson as Chief Financial Officer. Within the mining sector, he has been CFO for the following companies: Quadro Resources Ltd., ICN Resources Ltd., Paragon Minerals Corporation and Vatic Ventures Corp. Previously, Mr. Wilson was the VP/Treasurer of Cellfor Inc.; the CFO for Quest University; Corporate Controller for MDSI; and Senior Manager at MacMillan Bloedel Limited.

Sunrise Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: SHI), announced that Lars Glimhagen has been appointed as CFO of the Company. Mr. Glimhagen has been Senior Accountant at BC Rapid Transit. He is also the founder of LNG Management Services Ltd. He has held senior officer positions with several public companies.

Maya Gold & Silver Inc. (TSX-V:MYA) announced the appointment of Alain Lévesque as Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation. He replaces Alain Krushnisky who was serving as interim Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation since November 2011. Alain Levesque worked with the accounting firm Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton and Deloitte where he worked as an auditor. He later worked for several years as a consultant for various companies and occupied the position of Chief Financial Officer at Ranaz Corporation.
