Mario Settino

Trueblu [VERONA, Italy, MILANO and MONTREAL] announced the appointment of Mario Settino as Executive VP of Corporate Development and CFO. Most recently he was CFO of BioAmber and previously President of Peds Legwear. Before this he held senior executive positions at Miranda Technologies /Grass Valley, Loblaws, Bombardier and LGS, (an IBM company).

Westport Fuel Systems Inc. [VANCOUVER] (TSX: WRPT, NASDAQ: WPRT) announced that Michael Willis has resigned as its Chief Financial Officer. Jim MacCallum, Vice-President, Finance and Corporate Controller, has been named Acting Chief Financial Officer.  Mr. MacCallum has led the corporate accounting and treasury functions since joining Westport in 2014. Prior to that he held finance leadership roles at Amica Mature Lifestyles Inc., Absolute Software and Cisco Systems.

Acasta Enterprises Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX: AEF) announced the appointment of Paul Bozoki as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Bozoki has over 10 years as serving as Chief Financial Officer of various public companies listed on the TSX and TSXV.  Bozoki replaces Michael Murphy as CFO.

COIN Hodl Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: COIN) announced the resignation of Daniel Crandall as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. The Company is pleased to announce that Aamer Siddiqui will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer. Siddiqui is a Manager of Financial Reporting at Marrelli Support Services Inc.

Golden Leaf Holdings Ltd. [TORONTO] (CSE: GLH, OTCQB: GLDFF) announced the appointment of Karyn O. Barsa as its new Chief Financial Officer. The Company’s outgoing CFO, Craig Eastwood, is leaving the Company to pursue other opportunities. Ms. Barsa’s experience includes service as a Director, CEO, CFO and COO for multi-million and billion-dollar privately held and public companies across consumer products, financial services and other industries, including Deckers Outdoor Corporation, Performance Sports Group Ltd., Coyuchi, Inc., Investors’ Circle, Smith & Hawken, Ltd. and Patagonia Inc.

Zonetail Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: ZONE) announced the appointment of Robert D.B. Suttie as the new Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Suttie is Vice President of Marrelli Support Services, serves as Chief Financial Officer or director on a number of other Canadian publicly listed companies including some listed on the Toronto Venture Exchange, Toronto Stock Exchange, and Canadian Securities Exchange. Mr. Suttie will succeed Dan Crandall who has left his role as senior manager of Marrelli Support Services.

Acceleware Ltd. [CALGARY] announced the appointment of Brian LeBlanc as Chief Financial Officer. Brian’s background features extensive experience in the oil and gas and energy services industries, as well as chemical processing, manufacturing, and wholesale/retail distribution and for the past 17 years, he has been operating an independent accounting consulting practice.

Getty Copper Inc. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: GTC) announced the appointment of Meryl R Tellis as new Chief Financial Officer. From 1979 to 2016, Meryl was a manager and director of taxation at a large forest company in BC. Meryl also chaired the tax committee for the Forest Products Association of Canada. Meryl Tellis is replacing interim CFO Shaheem Aziz Ali.

Sun Life Financial Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX: SLF, NYSE: SLF) announced that, effective May 29, 2017, Kevin Strain, currently President, Sun Life Financial Asia, will become Executive Vice-President & Chief Financial Officer. At the same time, Colm Freyne, currently Executive Vice-President & Chief Financial Officer, will become Executive Vice-President & Chief Risk Officer.

Toronto Hydro Corporation [TORONTO] announces that Sean Bovingdon is the new Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective April 3, 2017. Mr. Bovingdon replaces Laura Foster, who has been the Interim CFO since December 2015 and has accepted another role on the executive team. Mr. Bovingdon brings with him over 25 years of financial leadership knowledge and experience, and has held senior executive and leadership positions within the oil and gas, manufacturing and technology sectors.

Yellow Pages Limited [MONTREAL] (TSX: Y) announced the appointment of Ken Taylor as Senior Vice-President, Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mr. Taylor served as CFO at BTI Systems and March Networks Corporation, Vice President, Finance at Newbridge Networks Corporation and Vice President, Strategic Initiatives at Alcatel. His most recent role was with Capital Sports & Entertainment Inc., where he served as CFO of the Ottawa Senators organization.

Loop Industries, Inc. [MONTREAL] (OTC: LLPP) announced that D. Jennifer Rhee will become its new Chief Financial Officer, replacing Cesar Contla, who will be staying on in his new role as corporate controller. Ms. Rhee will assume the role in early April 2017. Ms. Rhee has been a partner with Richter LLP, a financial advisory services firm, since January 2007, and has previously worked at Richter LLP in other capacities since 2003. Ms. Rhee has practiced in the areas of international taxation and transfer pricing and was responsible for creating and building the firm’s transfer pricing practice.

BioAmber Inc. [MONTREAL] (NYSE: BIOA) announced that the Company has entered into a mutual separation agreement with Mario Saucier, in connection with his departure from his role of Chief Financial Officer effective March 28, 2017. Raymond J. Land, the current Chairman of the Board, has been appointed as the company’s interim Chief Financial Officer effective March 28, 2017. Mr. Land has served on BioAmber’s Board since 2011. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Land served as Sr. VP and CFO of Clarient, Inc., Sr. VP and CFO of Safeguard Scientifics, Inc., a venture capital firm, and Sr. VP and CFO for Genencor International Inc., from 1997 until its acquisition in 2005. Mr. Land has also held various positions at Campbell Soup Company Inc. and at Coopers & Lybrand, an accounting firm.

RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust [TORONTO] (TSX: REI.UN) announced that it has appointed Qi Tang as Acting Chief Financial Officer of RioCan effective April 3, 2017. Prior to her joining RioCan, Qi held the positions of Vice President, Finance & Accounting for Dream Global REIT, Chief Financial Officer for Symphony Senior Living Inc. and as Vice President, Strategic Planning and Forecasting for Chartwell Retirement Residences.

WPT Industrial Real Estate Investment Trust [TORONTO] (TSX: WIR.U, OTC: WPTIF) announced that Dennis Heieie, Chief Financial Officer, intends to retire at the end of June 2017. With Mr. Heieie’s retirement, the REIT is pleased to announce that Judd Gilats has been hired to succeed Mr. Heieie as Chief Financial Officer of the REIT and the REIT’s external asset and property manager, WPT Capital Advisors, LLC, effective as of the date of Mr. Heieie’s retirement. Mr. Heieie will remain with WPT Capital in an advisory capacity through the end of 2017 to ensure a seamless transition. Mr. Gilats was previously Chief Financial Officer for U.S. Assets and Dislocated Industries at Castlelake, L.P. Before Castlelake, Mr. Gilats held various corporate finance and capital markets roles with Ares Management, Wrightwood Capital, Chiron Corporation and Deloitte & Touche LLP

Northern Empire Resources Corp. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: NM) announced the appointment of Robert Scott as Chief Financial Officer. Scott is a founder and president of Corex Management Inc., a private company providing accounting, administration, and corporate compliance services to privately held and publicly traded companies. Mr. Scott has held senior management and board positions with a number of TSX Venture Exchange Issuers, and is currently CFO of Riverside Resources Inc. and Great Bear Resources Ltd.

United Hunter Oil and Gas Corp. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: UHO) announced the resignation of Jeff Ratcliffe as the company’s Chief Financial Officer and as a director of the Corporation so as to pursue other opportunities.

Fura Emeralds Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: FUR) announced the appointment of Ryan Ptolemy as its new chief financial officer. Mr. Ptolemy currently serves as chief financial officer to a number of public and private companies in the mining sector, particularly exploration and development stage companies. Mr. Ptolemy formerly served as chief financial officer for an independent investment dealer in Toronto. The appointment of Mr. Ptolemy follows the resignation of Paul Bozoki as the chief financial officer of the Company.

GASFRAC Energy Services Inc. (TSX: GFS) announced that Jim Hill has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Hill joined the Company in 2010 as its Chief Financial Officer and has served as Acting CEO since September 2012. Mr. Hill has over 30 years’ experience as a CFO and in executive management roles with global oilfield services businesses including Nowsco Well Services and Complete Production Services.

Vast Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: VST) announced the appointment of Paul Bozoki as the Chief Financial Officer of the company. Since October 2010, Mr. Bozoki has served as Chief Financial Officer of several junior resource companies listed on both the TSX and the TSX-V. Mr. Bozoki began his career at Ernst & Young LLP where he spent six years auditing clients predominately in the mining industry. The appointment of Mr. Bozoki follows the resignation of Sam Yik as Chief Financial Officer of Vast.

Angel Gold Corp. (TSX-V: ANG) announced the appointment of Mark Gelmon as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Gelmon has provided his expertise to several TSX Venture Exchange listed companies in the capacity of director, chief financial officer and consultant. Gelmon replaced Christopher Cherry.

Altan Rio Minerals Limited (TSX-V: AMO) announced the appointment of Anthony Jackson as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Jackson is a Principal of BridgeMark Financial Corp. and a founder of Jackson & Company Chartered Accountants, a company that assists private and public companies with their accounting and tax requirements. Prior to his time at BridgeMark, Mr. Jackson spent a number of years at Ernst & Young LLP before working as a senior analyst at a boutique investment banking firm. Mr. Jackson replaces Robert Scott as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer.

Arctic Glacier Holdings, Inc. announced that Linda Davachi has joined the Company as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Arctic Glacier, Ms. Davachi was the CFO of Northstar Travel Media. Prior to Northstar, Ms. Davachi worked in various corporate finance functions globally for Honeywell International, including in investor relations where she supported the CEO and CFO and worked with both buy-side investors and sell-side analysts on Wall Street. Ms. Davachi started her finance career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Sagres Energy Inc. (TSX-V: SGI) announced the departure of Sam Yik from his position as Chief Financial Officer of Sagres.

Canada Strategic Metals Inc. (OTC: CJCFF) announced that Nathalie Laurin has been appointed as the Company’s Secretary and Chief Financial Officer to replace Kelsey Chin. Ms. Nathalie Laurin has more than 25 years of experience in administration and accounting. During her career, she has held a range of jobs that have gained her experience in the financial industry, project management and the natural resource sector. She has been self-employed since 2006 handling bookkeeping, audit file preparation, and management of legal, regulatory and administrative matters.

Wescan Energy Corp. (TSX-V: WCE) announced that John H. Cassels has been appointed Vice-President, Finance, and Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Cassels is a Chartered Accountant in Canada with over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, serving as a senior officer and director of several oil and natural gas companies.  Mr. Cassels was a founding shareholder, chief executive officer and director of Highview Resources Ltd. Mr. Cassels replaces Dwight Fieseler who resigned as Vice-President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer, to pursue another business opportunities.

Santa Maria Petroleum Inc. (formerly Quetzal Energy Ltd.) (TSX-V: SMQ) announced the appointment of Cameron Dow as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mr. Dow has been with Company since September 2010 as the Finance Manager and former Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Santa Maria, Mr. Dow was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Financial Controller of Sea Dragon Resources Ltd. Mr. Dow was previously Interim CFO of Calvalley Petroleum Inc. and a Partner of Daunheimer & Dow LLP Chartered Accountants, in Calgary. John Martin. the former CFO, provided his services under a contract which expired.

Western Troy Capital Resources (TSX-V: WRY) announced the appointment of Melvyn Williams as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Williams has been a Director of Western Troy for about two years. Mr. Williams was Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President, Corporate Development for Brigus Gold Corporation.

Computer Modelling Group Ltd. (TSX: CMG) announced the selection and appointment of Sandra Balic as CMG’s new Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer effective September 1, 2013. This appointment is made as John Kalman, currently Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer, had previously advised the Company in February, 2013 of his intention to retire effective August 31, 2013. Ms. Balic joined CMG initially as Manager, Financial Reporting in March, 2009 and was subsequently promoted to Controller in August 2010.

Alternative Earth Resources Inc. (TSX-V: AER) announced that Margot Delport, Chief Financial Officer, is leaving employment with the Company, and that Ed Low is appointed Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Low has been providing accounting services to public companies for the past 17 years.  Most recently, Mr. Low was controller with Alternative Earth from 1997 to 2012. Previously, he has been CFO for several companies traded on the TSX Venture exchange.

North American Tungsten Corporation Ltd. (TSX-V: NTC) announced the appointment of Dennis Lindahl as Interim Chief Financial Officer succeeding Harold Schwenk who will undertake other duties with the Company.

Adex Mining Inc. (TSX-V: ADE) announced that Doug Bolton has been appointed as the Interim Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of the Company. During his career in public accounting, Mr. Bolton spent over 25 years as a partner in an audit firm whose primary focus was the auditing of reporting issuers, which are involved in the extractive industries and listed on the TSX Venture Exchange.

Innovative Composites International Inc. (TSX-V: IC) announced that Sam Greiss has resigned as Chief Financial Officer and as a director of the company.

Hodgins Auctioneers (TSX-V: HA) announced the appointment of Scott G. Janke as Chief Financial Officer, replacing Karen Ingram.

Penfold Capital Acquisition IV Corp. (TSX-V: SEL) announces that Leslie Markow has resigned as CFO of SLM Logistics Corp.  The Company has engaged Paul Haber to be the Interim Chief Financial Officer.  Paul Haber is a Chartered Accountant and has served as the CFO of various TSX and TSX-V listed companies.

Warnex Inc. (TSX-V: WNX.H) announced that Jean Vézina, the Company’s interim Chief Financial Officer agreed to step down. Furthermore, Sean Karamchandani has been appointed as Director and will replace Mr. Vézina as the Company’s interim Chief Financial Officer until further notice.

Stetson Oil & Gas Ltd. (TSX-V: SSN) announced the appointment of Paul Bozoki as the Chief Financial Officer. Since October 2010, Mr. Bozoki has served as Chief Financial Officer of several junior resource companies listed on both the TSX and the TSX-V. The appointment of Mr. Bozoki follows the resignation of Sam Yik as Chief Financial Officer of Stetson.

FairWest Energy Corporation (TSX-V: FEC) announced that Marion Mackie has resigned as Chief Financial Officer of FairWest, however, pursuant to a court Order, Mrs. Mackie has been appointed as the Chief Restructuring Officer (“CRO”) for FairWest.

NexGen Energy Ltd. (TSX-V: NXE) announced that it has appointed Andriyko Herchak as Chief Financial Officer. Mr Herchak was most recently the Chief Financial Officer of Hathor Exploration Ltd. Mr Herchak replaces Bethany Kitto whose contribution to NexGen during its start-up phase has been greatly appreciated. Mrs Kitto will continue providing accounting support, reporting to Mr Herchak.

St. Joseph Communications noted the retirement of Tim Zahavich as CFO. Kin-Man Lee has been appointed as the new CFO. Mr. Lee was formerly CFO of Sun Media Corporation as well as Publisher & CEO of the Toronto Sun newspaper.

Capstone Mining Corp. (TSX: CS) announced the appointment of D. James Slattery as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Mr. Slattery spent the last eight years spent as the CFO of Inmet Mining Corporation. Before joining Inmet he held various senior management roles, including Vice President and CFO for Wescast Industries, and CFO for Canadian General Tower Ltd.

Alexander Nubia International Inc. (TSX-V: AAN) announced that Justin Blanchet has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Blanchet replaces Paul Robertson who resigned as of May 10, 2013.

Kensington Court Ventures Inc. (TSX-V: KCT) announced that James P. Taylor has joined the Company as CFO, replacing Albert Wu. Most recently, Mr. Taylor served as CFO for Cyber Development Group International, LLC. He was also previously the CFO of Novocon International, Inc, Peer 1 Network Enterprises, Inc, Fibrox Technology, Ltd, Corelink Data Centers LLC and others.

Biologix Hair Inc. (OTC: BLGX) appointed J. Gregory Wilson as Chief Financial Officer. In 2005, Greg was part of the group that founded Paramount Gold & Silver Corp. In early 2009, he co-founded and led the financing of a renewable energy company. Greg continues to sit on the Board of Directors.

eShippers Management Ltd. (TSX-V: EPX.H) announced that John Parker has been appointed to succeed John Jardine as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. John Parker is a Chartered Accountant and a senior partner with Buckley Dodds Parker LPP. Mr. Parker brings to the Company a wide breath of expertise gained from 25 years in public and private practice, holding various positions with companies as a Chief Financial Officer, Vice-President, Finance, Controller, Senior Manager and Operations Director. Mr. Parker has served on the board of directors of Island Savings Credit Union for 15 years, most recently chairing both the Audit and Nominations Committees. Mr. Parker is also a past Trustee of the Credit Union Foundation of British Columbia and a current member of the Practice Review and Licensing Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia.

McCoy Corporation (TSX: MCB) announced the appointment and promotion of Jacob Coonan as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Jacob was previously Interim CFO. Mr. Coonan was a Senior Manager at KPMG where he worked for eight years prior to joining McCoy Corporation as the Company’s Vice President, Finance in January 2012.

Colabor Group Inc. (TSX: GCL) announced the appointment of Jean-François Neault as the Corporation’s Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Neault will succeed Michel Loignon. Mr. Loignon will remain with the organization as Vice-President, Business Development of Colabor Group Inc. Since 2010, Mr. Neault held the position of Vice-President, Finance and Administration of Cascades Tissue Group. He had previously held the position of Vice-President, Financial Planning and Corporate Strategy at Atrium Innovations Inc., as well as other senior management positions with various entities of Cascades Inc.

Extendicare Inc. (TSX: EXE) announced that Dylan Mann will be appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer to replace Doug Harris upon his retirement on July 5, 2013. Mr. Mann is a former executive of the Company’s wholly owned U.S. subsidiary, Extendicare Health Services, Inc. (EHSI). He joined EHSI in August 2006 as Director of Internal Audit and was promoted to Vice President and Controller in May 2011, a position he held until his departure in August 2012. Since leaving EHSI in 2012, Mr. Mann has been serving as the Vice President, Controller at Brookdale Senior Living.

Eagle Mountain Gold Corp. (TSX-V: Z) announced the appointment of Geoff Watson as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Mr. Watson will remain on the Eagle Mountain Board of Directors, on which he has served since September

Brookwater Ventures Inc. (TSX-V: BW) appointed Paul Bozoki as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Since October 2010, Mr. Bozoki has served as Chief Financial Officer of several junior resource companies listed on both the TSX and the TSX-V. Mr. Bozoki began his career at Ernst & Young LLP where he spent six years auditing clients predominately in the mining industry. The appointment of Mr. Bozoki follows the resignation of Sam Yik as Chief Financial Officer of Brookwater.

Katz Group Canada Ltd., operator of the Rexall and Rexall Pharma Plus pharmacy chains, announced the appointment of Sharon Driscoll to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Driscoll most recently served as Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Sears Canada Inc. Prior to joining Sears, Ms. Driscoll held several senior level positions at Loblaw Companies Limited, including Senior Vice President, Corporate Development.

Cancen Oil Canada Inc. (TSX-V: COI) announced the appointment of Mr. Shankar Nandiwada as the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of the Corporation. Most recently, Mr. Nandiwada was the CFO for Hammerstone Corporation. Jeffrey Love ceased to be the Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation.

Lonestar West Inc. (TSX-V: LSI) announced that it has appointed Kristina Scade as its new Chief Financial Officer.  Ms. Scade will replace Bev Roome who will continue in a transition role for an appropriate period. Most recently, Ms. Scade has been working for Grant Thornton LLP in Edmonton, Alberta.

NQ Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: NQE) announced that Martin Nicoletti has been appointed as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer to replace Robert Ayotte. Since 2004, Mr. Nicoletti has been involved with public junior mining companies carrying exploration activities worldwide, with responsibilities in financial controls and financial reporting. He currently serves as the chief financial officer of a few public companies.

Ferro Iron Ore Corp. (TSX-V: RRO) reports the appointment of Paul Bozoki as Chief Financial Officer. Since October 2010, Mr. Bozoki has served as Chief Financial Officer of Black Iron Inc., In addition, from March 1, 2012, Mr. Bozoki has served as Chief Financial Officer of Cap-Ex Ventures Ltd. Mr. Bozoki replaces Mark Lotz following his resignation as Chief Financial Officer.

Maritime Resources Corp. (TSX-V: MAE) reports that Michael Chen, CFO of the Company has resigned to pursue other opportunities. Maritime has retained Jeannine P. M. Webb to provide consulting services in the capacity of Chief Financial Officer. Mrs. Webb has over 20 years of experience in the mining resource sector and was a principal of Badger & Co. Management Corp., a private company providing a full range of financial, corporate and geological management services to junior public mineral exploration companies. During this time, she served as CFO and Corporate Secretary for companies under management with Badger & Co. Since the disbandment of Badger & Co., Mrs. Webb has served as CFO of various other private and junior “small cap” public companies.

Terra Nova Energy Ltd. (TSX-V: TGC) announced the appointment of Robert McMorran to the position of Chief Financial Officer, replacing outgoing Chief Financial Officer Andrew Williams. Mr. McMorran is founder of Malaspina Consultants Inc., a private company that provides outsourced financial and regulatory reporting, accounting and administration services to junior public companies, primarily resource issuers. Mr. McMorran has over 25 years of experience of working with public companies in such a capacity, the last 15 years with Malaspina. During this time he has been a director or Chief Financial Officer of numerous public companies including the highly successful Canada Dominion Group of Flow-Through Limited Partnerships. Currently Mr. McMorran holds several directorships or senior officer positions, including being CFO and a director of Encanto Potash Corp. and CFO of Santacruz Silver Mining Ltd.
