Gaz Métro Inc. [MONTRÉAL] announced that Pierre Despars, Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs, and Chief Financial Officer, will retire. Éric Lachance, currently with the Caisse de dépôt et de placement du Québec, will join Gaz Métro at the beginning of 2017 and will be appointed the company’s Chief Financial Officer at the end of the transition period, during which time Mr. Despars will remain on board in his current role.

Group Ten Metals Inc. [VANCOUVER] (TSX-V: PGE) announced that Jody Bellefleur has resigned from the position of CFO.

Melcor Real Estate Investment Trust [EDMONTON] (TSX: MR.UN) announced that Naomi Stefura, the newly appointed Chief Financial Officer of Melcor Developments Ltd., has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer.

ROI Land Investments Ltd. [MONTREAL] (OTCQB: ROII) announced that Mohsen Maaouia has been appointed interim Chief Financial Officer in replacement of Slim Feriani, who has resigned. Mohsen has been a financial advisor for ROI since February 2016. Mohsen Maaouia spent 13 years working within several different audit and accounting firms, notably as a Manager at the Deloitte firm. Internationally, he has advised a large MENA group in planning subsidiaries for the agri-food sector, hotel industry, trading and services (Caterpillar, John Deere etc.).

Metallum Resources Inc. [HALIFAX] (TSX-V: MRV) announced the appointment of Rob Randall as Chief Financial Officer. He replaces Robert Suttie, who has been CFO for the past nine years. Mr. Randall was previously the Corporate Controller for Etruscan Resources Inc. and a principal with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

American Lithium Corp. [VANCOUVER] (TSX: LI) announced that Douglas Ford will join the board and assume the role of Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Ford is the former Chief Financial Officer and director of Rockgate Capital Corp. He has been the General Manager of Dockside Capital Group Inc.

Pivot Technology Solutions, Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: PTG) announced that the Company has appointed Brian Kyle as its new CFO. Mr. Kyle joins Pivot from ALSA Capital Ltd, where he was partner and co-founder.  Prior to ALSA, Mr. Kyle spent 5 years at DH Corporation, where he was CFO.  Prior to this, he held a number of senior financial positions at Teranet.

Sears Canada Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX: SCC) announced that E.J. Bird, Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”), will be leaving the Company. Mr. Bird was appointed Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer in June 2013 after serving in that role on an interim basis since March 2013.  He joined the Board of Directors in May 2006 and stepped down from the Board in November 2013 shortly after taking on the internal role on a permanent basis.

Lendful [VANCOUVER] has announced a new addition to their executive team, Mitch Salis. Salis was previously CFO of Thinking Capital.

Axios Mobile Assets [MISSISSAUGA] (TSX-V: AXA) announced the addition of Michael Cooke to its management team in the role of Chief Financial Officer. He most recently served as Senior Director, Business Planning & Strategy at Achievers Corp. Mr. Cooke began his career at KPMG before moving to marketing and analytics provider Adenyo Inc.

People Corporation [TORONTO] (TSX-V:PEO) announced that Dennis Stewner will be appointed as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer and that Keith McMahon will be stepping down as the current CFO. Most recently, Dennis was the Senior Vice-President for National Bank Financial. Prior to that, he was the CFO and COO for Wellington West Holdings Inc.Blake Tohana

9 Story Media Group [TORONTO] announced the appointment of Blake Tohana as Chief Financial Officer. Tohana most recently served as CFO at Tricon Films & Television. Prior to his role at Tricon, Tohana held the position of Executive Vice-President and CFO of Magna Entertainment Corp. (MEC).

Noble Mineral Exploration Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: NOB) announced that Robert Suttie has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of Noble. Mr. Suttie replaces Gaetan Chabot. Robert Suttie currently works with Marrelli Support Services as its Vice President.

Great Canadian Gaming Corporation [RICHMOND, BC] (TSX: GC) announced that Kiran Rao has resigned as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer.

Pivot Technology Solutions, Inc. [TORONTO] (TSX-V: PTG) announced that Kerri Brass, Pivot’s CFO, has decided to leave the Company.

Maple Leaf Foods (TSX: MFI) announced that Debbie Simpson will succeed Michael Vels as Chief Financial Officer. For the past seven years, Debbie has held senior Finance roles at Maple Leaf. Mike will remain with the Company until the end of the year to lead the separation of the bakery business, the Maple Leaf organizational transition and support the transfer of his responsibilities to Debbie.

Penn West Petroleum Ltd. (TSX: PWT) announced that David Dyck has been appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of Penn West effective May 1, 2014.  Mr. Dyck replaces Todd Takeyasu who is stepping down from the role. Mr. Dyck was most recently the CFO of a Calgary energy company focused on developing natural gas conversion projects combined with in-situ coal gasification technology.  Prior to that, David served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Ivanhoe Energy Inc.  Mr. Dyck also founded and was the CEO of a capital advisory firm, and spent approximately seven years with Western Oil Sands Inc. as Senior Vice President, Finance and CFO. Jeff Curran, Vice President, Accounting & Reporting will fulfill the responsibilities of CFO in the interim period ensuring an orderly transition.

Timbercreek Senior Mortgage Investment Corporation (TSX: MTG) announced that it has appointed David Melo as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Mr. Melo joined Timbercreek in November 2004 and is Managing Director, Finance and Chief Compliance Officer for the Timbercreek group of companies.

Canwealth Minerals Corporation and majority shareholder, ICBS Ltd., (OTC: ICBT) announced the appointment of Mr. Neji Jedda to the Board of Directors. Mr. Jedda is currently the Principal Director at the Federal Development Bank of Canada. He was formerly with the Toronto Dominion Bank of Canada, and is a graduate of the University of Montreal. Mr. Jedda will assume the position of Chief Financial Officer.

Gossan Resources Limited (TSX-V: GSS) has appointed Robert Suttie as the Company’s new Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Suttie currently works with Marrelli Support Services as its Vice President. He possesses almost 20 years of financial reporting experience, ten of which were in public accounting prior to his tenure with Marrelli Support Services. Mr. Suttie also serves as Chief Financial Officer for other junior mining companies. Mr. Suttie replaces Carmelo Marrelli as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer.

Grenville Strategic Royalty Corp. (TSX-V: GRC) announced that Mr. Donnacha Rahill has been appointed as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer, with Mr. Oleg Dubrovsky moving to the position of Controller. Prior to joining Grenville, Mr. Rahill spent over 20 years in various CFO and finance capacities, including as CFO of De Lage Landen’s Canadian subsidiary.

Solid Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: SRW) announced the appointment of Michael Nayyar to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Nayyar will succeed outgoing CFO Rick Gliege, who will continue to act as Chief Operating Officer, Director and Corporate Secretary. Mr. Nayyar has over 15 years of financial strategy and operational experience in a number of industries, including mining and exploration. He began his career with an international accounting firm.
