AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Daniel Pacicco, to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Pacicco will succeed Adam Karkowsky, who was promoted to AmTrust President. Pacicco joins AmTrust from Assurant, Inc., where he served as Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Controller since June 2017. Prior to Assurant, Pacicco served as Senior Vice President, Finance for the North American operations of Chubb Limited, after holding many roles in over two decades with The Chubb Corporation. Before Chubb, Pacicco spent over ten years at Ernst & Young.
CuriosityStream [SILVER SPRING, MD] announced that Jason Eustace has joined as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this role, Eustace served as the Head of Finance for Bluemercury, Pet360 and Discovery Communications-US Networks.
OmniTRAX [DENVER] an affiliate of The Broe Group, announced Robert Walker has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. For the past 10 years, Walker served as Chief Operating and Financial Officer at The Madison Companies and affiliates. Prior to joining The Madison Companies, he served as Executive Vice President and CFO of property operations and redevelopment at Apartment Investment and Management Company, and as Senior Vice President and CFO for Miller Global Properties. Walker started his career in audit and advisory services at Ernst & Young and served as Global Controller for GE Capital Real Estate.
Charles River Associates [BOSTON] (NASDAQ: CRAI) announced the appointment of Daniel K. Mahoney as Chief Financial Officer effective March 30, 2020. Mahoney most recently served as Senior Vice President, Head of Finance at BrightSphere Investment Group. Mahoney assumes the role from Chad Holmes, who will be CRA’s Executive Vice President and Chief Corporate Development Officer. Mahoney was most recently at BrightSphere Investment Group where he served as SVP and Head of Finance. Prior to BrightSphere, Mahoney was Chief Accounting Officer at State Street Global Advisors (SSgA).
Flexsteel Industries, Inc. [DUBUQUE, IA] (NASDAQ: FLXS) announced that Derek P. Schmidt will join Flexsteel and assume the role of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer on April 6, 2020. Schmidt most recently served as the Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for Crescent Electric Supply Co. Prior to joining Crescent Electric Supply Co., Schmidt held multiple executive positions with HNI Corporation (HNI). From 2016 – 2018, Schmidt held the position of Vice President & General Manager, Transactional – The HON Company, an HNI operating company. From 2014 – 2016, Mr. Schmidt held the position of Vice President, Finance for The HON Company. From 2013 – 2014, Schmidt held the position of Vice President, Finance – HNI Leveraged Furniture Operations. From 2011 – 2013, Schmidt held the position of Treasurer and Vice President, Corporate Finance and led M&A, treasury, investor relations and corporate planning. Prior to joining HNI, Schmidt held financial leadership positions with companies such as Silgan Plastics Corporation, MasterBrand Cabinets, Inc., and General Mills Inc.
Aura [SAN FRANCISCO] named Anne M. Myong as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Aura, Myong served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Walmart’s Global eCommerce business. She joined Walmart in 2011 as Chief Administrative Officer of its retail operation in China and became CFO the following year. During her tenure with Walmart, Ms. Myong served as a member of the board of directors of Walmart Mexico and was a member of the CEO’s advisory board of women leaders. Prior to Walmart, Myong held a variety of finance, strategy and investment roles in start-up and Fortune 500 technology companies in Silicon Valley and China. Myong started her career with McKinsey & Company in Washington, DC and New York. In addition, Myong is a member of the Audit Committee and Board of Directors at Align Technology (NASDAQ: ALGN) and a Board Director, Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee of Goodwill Industries International.
Catasys, Inc. [SANTA MONICA, CA] (NASDAQ: CATS) announced the appointment of Brandon H. LaVerne as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining, Laverne was CFO of PCM, Inc. Prior to PCM, Inc., LaVerne was an Accounting Supervisor at Computer Sciences Corporation. Previously, he was a Senior Auditor at Deloitte and Touche LLP.
Essential Properties Realty Trust, Inc. [PRINCETON, NJ] (NYSE: EPRT) announced the appointment of Anthony K. Dobkin, a member of the Company’s Board of Directors, as Interim Chief Financial Officer. Hillary P. Hai, the Company’s former Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, will leave the Company on April 30, 2020.
Elara Caring [ADDISON, TX] announced that Bruce Jarvie has been named Chief Executive Officer (CFO). Jarvie previously served as CFO at EmblemHealth. He also held a divisional CFO position at Optum (part of UnitedHealth Group), and served in senior finance roles at BAE Systems, Inc. and UAL Corporation, the parent company of United Airlines.
American Tower Corporation [BOSTON] (NYSE: AMT) announced that Rod Smith, the Company’s current Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance and Treasurer will become the new Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, replacing Tom Bartlett who has been promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer, Smith has been with the Company for more than ten years, including serving as Chief Financial Officer of the Company’s U.S. Tower Division.
Stonewall Kitchen, LLC [YORK, ME] announced that Rick Lees has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Lees was Ocean Spray’s Chief Financial Officer for 8 years. Prior to Ocean Spray, Lees held other key executive positions for well-known companies such as Pillsbury, Dannon and Gillette.
Cumulus Media Inc. [ATLANTA] (NASDAQ: CMLS) announced that Frank Lopez-Balboa has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Lopez-Balboa served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Univision Communications Inc. Prior to Univision, Lopez-Balboa spent more than 20 years in investment banking at Goldman Sachs.
Overstock.com, Inc. [SALT LAKE CITY] (NASDAQ: OSTK) announced the appointment of Adrianne Lee as its Chief Financial Officer. Lee will assume the role on March 31, 2020. Lee joins Overstock from The Hertz Corporation where she was senior vice president and CFO of the company’s North American Rental Car unit. Prior to that, she served as vice president of global financial planning and analysis and corporate development for Hertz. Before joining The Hertz Corporation, Lee led financial planning and analysis for Best Buy’s e-commerce business, and held several roles in finance, strategic planning, accounting and financial reporting, investor relations and audit at PepsiCo, Allianz Life and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
First Northwest Bancorp [PORT ANGELES, WA] (NASDAQ: FNWB), the holding company for First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Port Angeles, announced that Regina Wood resigned as Chief Financial Officer, to pursue another business opportunity. Geri Bullard, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Treasurer, assumed the position of Interim Chief Financial Officer. Bullard joined the bank earlier this year as SVP and Treasurer. Prior to joining First Federal, Bullard served as Controller at Salal Credit Union, located in Seattle, from August 2018 to January 2020, and Chief Financial Officer of First Sound Bank, also in Seattle, from February 2017 to August 2018.
UNITIL Corporation [HAMPTON, NH] (NYSE:UTL) announced the resignation of Christine L. Vaughan, Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) and Treasurer. The Company has appointed Laurence M. Brock as the interim CFO and Treasurer. Brock has been Unitil’s Controller and Chief Accounting Officer since June 2005, and was Vice President and Controller from 1995 until 2005.
Blucora, Inc. [IRVING, TX] (NASDAQ: BCOR) announced that Mimi Carsley has been named interim Chief Financial Officer. A member of the Blucora team since 2018, Carsley has held a number of leadership roles inside the company including as Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis and as CFO of its Avantax Wealth Management business unit. Her Blucora experience also includes having served as Vice President of Corporate Development and Integration Management Office. Carsley’s distinguished career has included senior roles at leading companies, including serving as Chief Financial Officer for the Specialized Devices and Applications business group at Microsoft Corporation. While at Microsoft, she also held the roles of Director of Corporate Development and Strategy, Director of Strategic Corporate Finance, and Director of Portfolio Management. Prior to joining Blucora, Carsley held various leadership roles at LPL Financial Holdings, including as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Treasurer as well as Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff. Before that, she was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Bluewater Global Ltd. Earlier in her career, Carsley was Assistant Vice President of Financial Security Assurance Inc. and as Assistant Portfolio Manager with JPMorgan Chase.
Farmer Bros. Co. [NORTHLAKE, TX] (NASDAQ: FARM) announced the appointment of Scott Drake as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Scott Lyon will continue to serve in his role as Farmer Brothers’ Vice President, Controller. Most recently, Drake served as GameStop Corp.’s Senior Vice President, Finance and Treasurer. Prior to that, Drake served as 7-Eleven, Inc.’s Vice President, Finance Strategy and Communications from 2001 to 2015. Prior to 2001, he held finance and accounting positions with Arthur Andersen, La Madeleine French Bakery and Café, Coca-Cola Enterprises and Coopers & Lybrand.
Accruit [DENVER] announced the addition of Steve Holtkamp as the company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Holtkamp most recently was Chief Strategy Officer for Hotel Engine. Prior to Hotel Engine, Holtkamp spent ten years with Morgan Stanley.
Dunbar Security Solutions (DSS) [HUNT VALLEY, MD] and Dunbar Security Products (DSP) jointly announce that Jeff Berg, formerly the Vice President of Finance at DSS, is now the Chief Financial Officer for both companies. Berg has been with the Dunbar family of companies since 2008 where he started as a senior member of the Finance Department at Dunbar Armored. He became the Vice President of Finance at DSS in 2016, and now as CFO.
UpKeep [LOS ANGELES] announced that Jim Lightsey has joined as Chief Financial Officer. Previously, Jim served as Chief Financial Officer of Leanplum. Prior to Leanplum, Jim was Chief Financial Officer with InsideView. Jim also served as President and Founder of emindhealth, and was Director of Corporate Development for Homestore.com.
Cardinal Health [DUBLIN, OH] (NYSE: CAH) announced that it appointed Jason Hollar as Chief Financial Officer, effective May 12. Hollar most recently served as the chief financial officer of Tenneco Inc. Hollar joined Tenneco in June 2017 from Sears Holding Corporation, where he served as chief financial officer. Prior to Sears, Hollar worked with both Delphi Automotive and Navistar in a number of senior finance roles. He served as Delphi’s corporate controller and as vice president of finance for the company’s powertrain systems division. At Navistar, he held finance positions of increasing responsibility in the company’s engine group, South America operations and corporate financial planning and analysis.
MiMedx Group, Inc. [MARIETTA, GA] (OTC PINK: MDXG) announced that Peter M. Carlson, Executive Vice President of Finance, has been named as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. Carlson joined MiMedx in December 2019. Carlson served as Chief Operating Officer at Brighthouse Financial, Inc. Carlson was the Chief Accounting Officer at MetLife, Inc. for eight years. Prior to joining MetLife in 2009, Carlson was the Corporate Controller at Wachovia Corporation. Carlson currently serves as a director of White Mountains Insurance Company.
Tenneco Inc. [LAKE FOREST, IL] (NYSE: TEN) announced that Kenneth R. Trammell has been appointed to the role of interim Chief Financial Officer, effective April 1, 2020. Trammell’s appointment follows Jason Hollar‘s decision to leave the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in order to accept an equivalent role at a Fortune 100 company. Trammell previously served as chief financial officer of Tenneco Inc. from 2003 to 2018. Prior to that position, he held a number of finance roles at the Company, where he was responsible for financial and operational accounting, financial reporting, planning and analysis and all audit functions. He joined Tenneco in 1996 as assistant controller and was promoted to corporate controller the following year and served as vice president and controller, beginning in November 1999.
SVB&T Corporation [JASPER, IN] (OTCQX:SVBT), the bank holding company of Springs Valley Bank & Trust Company, announced the appointment of Ryan Heim as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer. He is superseding Darrell Blocker who announced his plans to retire March 31, 2020. Additionally, Heim will be responsible for the financial operations of Springs Valley Bank & Trust Company as Senior Executive Vice President, CFO and cashier. Heim began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst with Dresner Partners Investment Banking in Chicago and was previously employed with Springs Valley Bank & Trust as an Investment Analyst with the Financial Advisory Group before transitioning to the Accounting Department as a Financial Analyst. Heim was most recently employed with Kimball Electronics as Financial Planning & Analysis Manager before rejoining Springs Valley as Vice President and Financial Planning Manager in January 2019.
