Paysafe Group [LONDON & HOUSTON] appointed Ismail (“Izzy”) Dawood as its new Group Chief Financial Officer. Based in the US, Dawood will join the company on September 28. Dawood joins Paysafe from Branch International, where he was their CFO. Before that, he was CFO for WageWorks, and prior to that he held CFO roles at Santander Consumer USA and BNY Mellon. Earlier in his career, he spent 14 years in a range of finance and corporate leadership roles at Wells Fargo, a leading financial services company. Dawood replaces former CFO, Peter Smith.
WeWork [NEW YORK] announced that Kimberly Ross will be stepping down as Chief Financial Officer at the end of this month for personal reasons. Effective October 1, Benjamin Dunham will assume the role of CFO, after serving as CFO of WeWork Americas for the past two years. Prior to joining WeWork in 2018, he spent twelve years with Yum Brands where during his tenure he served as CFO of Pizza Hut Asia in 2013 and later as Head of Finance for Pizza Hut United States in 2016. Prior to Yum Brands, Ben spent five years at Macy’s, Inc.
SiriusXM [NEW YORK] announced that Sean S. Sullivan has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective October 26, 2020. Sullivan succeeds David J. Frear who will be pursuing other opportunities. Sullivan has served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of AMC Networks Inc., since June 2011. From September 2010 to June 2011, he was the Chief Corporate Officer of Rainbow Media Holdings LLC, the predecessor of AMC Networks Inc. and then a subsidiary of Cablevision Systems Corp. Prior to that, Sullivan was Chief Financial Officer of HiT Entertainment, from 2009 to 2010. Sullivan is a member of the Board of Directors of Acushnet Holdings Corp.
AMC Networks [NEW YORK] (NASDAQ: AMCX) announced its Chief Financial Officer Sean S. Sullivan is departing to take a senior position at another company. Sullivan will remain with AMC Networks through mid-October and the company will appoint an interim Chief Financial Officer or a successor prior to his departure.
Xerox Holdings Corporation [NORWALK, CT] (NYSE: XRX) announced its Chief Financial Officer William Osbourn will leave the company for personal reasons, effective September 30. Xavier Heiss, will serve as interim CFO. Heiss has served in various leadership positions in finance, business transformation and sales. Prior to being promoted to executive vice president and president of EMEA Operations earlier this year, Heiss served as controller of the company and chief financial officer of the company’s Americas Operations.
CenterPoint Energy, Inc. [HOUSTON] (NYSE: CNP) announced the appointment of Jason Wells as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective Sept. 28. Wells joins CenterPoint Energy from PG&E Corporation where he held roles of increasing responsibility over the past 13 years. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to his EVP and CFO role, Wells held leadership positions in Business Finance and Accounting with PG&E and its subsidiary, Pacific Gas and Electric Company. He began his career in 1999 with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Assurance and Business Advisory Services. Wells replaces Kristie Colvin who acted as interim CFO. Colvin will continue as Chief Accounting Officer.
PG&E Corporation [SAN FRANCISCO] announced that Jason P. Wells, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of PG&E Corporation, informed PG&E Corporation that he is resigning from his positions effective September 25, 2020, to become the chief financial officer of another investor owned utility.
KVH Industries, Inc. [MIDDLETOWN, RI] (NASDAQ: KVHI) announced that its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Don Reilly, has indicated his intention to retire later this year. The Company appointed Brent Bruun as Interim CFO in addition to his Chief Operating Officer (COO) responsibilities, effective November 2, 2020. Bruun joined KVH in early 2008 and served as executive vice president of the mobile broadband group, the company’s largest business unit. Prior to joining KVH, Bruun, a certified public accountant, was senior vice president with satellite operator SES Americom, and gained his corporate financial background from positions held with GE Capital and KPMG earlier in his career.
Ceridian [TORONTO and MINNEAPOLIS] (NYSE: CDAY, TSX: CDAY) announced that it has hired Noémie Heuland as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, effective October 5, 2020. Noémie comes to Ceridian from SAP, where she worked in Paris and Miami, most recently as CFO for Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to SAP, she was at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Paris and Los Angeles.
Phibro Animal Health Corporation [TEANECK, NJ] announced that Richard Johnson, Phibro’s Chief Financial Officer, has informed the Company that he will retire from his position effective November 15, 2020. Phibro also announced that Damian Finio will join Phibro on October 26, 2020, and will succeed Mr. Johnson as Phibro’s Chief Financial Officer, effective November 15, 2020. Since February 2018, Finio has served as Chief Financial Officer of Teligent, Inc. Finio has over 29 years of financial management experience. From November 2015 through January 2018, Finio served as Chief Financial Officer of Virtus Pharmaceuticals LLC. Prior to this, Finio served in a variety of financial roles of increasing responsibility at Daiichi Sankyo Pharma Development, West-Ward Pharmaceuticals (now known as Hikma), and Heritage Pharmaceuticals Inc. (now known as Avet Pharmaceuticals Inc.), after spending nearly fourteen years with AstraZeneca.
Teligent, Inc. [Buena, NJ] announced that Damian Finio, the Chief Financial Officer of Teligent, Inc., notified the Company of his intent to resign to pursue another career opportunity. Finio has agreed to provide transitional assistance through October 14, 2020, the effective date of his resignation.
Brii Biosciences [BEIJING & DURHAM, NC] announced the appointment Ankang Li as Chief Financial Officer of the company. Dr. Li joined Brii from Terns Biopharmaceuticals, where he was CFO. Prior to Terns, Dr. Li was the Executive Director of the Corporate Finance department division at Goldman Sachs, where he was responsible for investment banking in Asia outside Japan. Dr. Li also worked in Merck Asia Pacific Innovation Hub. Before that Dr. Li worked at two prominent law firms, Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP and Ropes & Gray LLP as attorney, advising clients on capital markets and M&A transactions. His working career started in the Salk Institute as a biomedical researcher.
Bristow Group Inc. [HOUSTON] announced that Jennifer Whalen been appointed Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer (CFO). She was previously serving as the CFO in an interim role since June 2020. Whalen previously served as the Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for Era Group Inc. from February 2018 to June 2020. She served as Era’s Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer from August 2013 until her appointment as Vice President, Acting Chief Financial Officer in June 2017. Whalen joined Era as Controller in April 2012. From August 2007 to March 2012, Whalen served in several capacities at nLIGHT Photonics Corporation, including as Director of Accounting. Prior to these roles, Whalen served as the Manager of Accounting at InFocus Corporation for over two years. After serving in the U.S. military, Whalen started her career in public accounting in the assurance practice group at PricewaterhouseCoopers for five years.
Tide Rock Holdings [SAN DIEGO] recently hired Jeff Ackerman as Chief Financial Officer. Previous to his role at Tide Rock, Ackerman served over eight years at Capstone Headwaters. Ackerman was also formerly a Managing Director at a private equity firm in Boston. Ackerman brings extensive operations leadership as a former CEO of a holding company.
Nolan Transportation Group (NTG) [ATLANTA] appointed Joanne Bleavins as Chief Financial Officer of NTG. Bleavins began her career in audit at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Bristol Myers Squibb. She then advanced to Newell Brands, where she started her career in investor relations and progressed over 17 years in a variety of corporate and business unit leadership roles, most recently the Chief Financial Officer – Baby Division.
Octo [RESTON, VA] announced that Jeffrey Cook has joined the executive leadership team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Cook was a former Senior Vice President with leadership roles as a Group CFO and head of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis at Leidos.
Prolucent Health [DALLAS] welcomed the addition of Derek Quackenbush as CFO. Quackenbush served on the executive team of several healthcare companies including Sleep Data, Vericare, Healthy Circles, and Concerro.
Dataminr [NEW YORK] announced that Nella Domenici is joining as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective September 15, 2020. Domenici was most recently the CFO and a member of the Operating Committee at Bridgewater Associates. Prior to Bridgewater, Domenici was a member of the Management Committee and Chief of Staff at Citadel Investment Group. Before Citadel, she was an investment banker at Drexel Burnham Lambert, DLJ and Credit Suisse where she rose to Head of Middle Market Mergers and Acquisitions. Domenici currently serves on two public company boards: AllianceBernstein LP where she is on the Audit and Risk Committee, and Change Healthcare where she is on the Audit and Compliance Committee.
Securonix, Inc. [ADDISON, TX] announced the appointment of Brett Bowman as Chief Financial Officer. Bowman comes to Securonix after serving as CFO of Woot (acquired by Amazon) and most recently as CFO of Main Street Hub (acquired by GoDaddy).
OneOncology [NASHVILLE, TN] announced the hire of Jon Billington as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, he was the CFO for US Acute Care Solutions. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President – Americas CFO and Global Chief Accounting Officer for a large technology solutions provider to the wireless industry and also served many years as a partner at two accounting firms, Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen.
Apothecary Health Solutions (AHS) [DENTON, TX], the parent company of Carie Boyd’s Prescription Shop, and Denton Prescription Shop, announced that Ryan Hafner has joined its executive team as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining AHS, Hafner served in various technical and leadership capacities at Arcadia Capital Partners, CIVC Partners and Greene Holcomb Fisher.
Adicet Bio, Inc. [MENLO PARK, CA and BOSTON] (NASDAQ: ACET) announced the appointment of Nick Harvey as Chief Financial Officer. Harvey joins Adicet most recently from Centrexion Therapeutics, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Previously, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Radius Health. Prior to that, Harvey served as a Managing Director at Shiprock Capital.
Trinity Life Sciences [WALTHAM, MA] announced the appointment of Rebecca McNamara as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). McNamara joins Trinity from Cengage where she most recently served as the Chief Integration Officer. Besides her most recent position as Chief Integration Officer, she was Interim CFO and a Senior Vice President, Finance Planning & Analysis for the company. She also had previously worked for Thomson Reuters and TheStreet.com.
Computer Design & Integration LLC [NEW YORK] announced that Cyrus Lam has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Lam joined CDI earlier this year as Executive Vice President (EVP) of Strategic Alliances. Lam spent almost three decades working at KPMG, where he most recently served as a Managing Director in their Corporate Finance function and was the Global Head of Technology for KPMG Corporate Finance.
Rockwell Medical, Inc. [WIXOM, MI] (NASDAQ: RMTI) announced the appointment of Russell L. Skibsted as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) and Chief Business Officer (“CBO”). Prior to joining Rockwell, he served as CFO of AgeX Therapeutics. Previously, Skibsted served as CFO of BioTime, Inc. Prior to BioTime, Skibsted served as CFO or Chief Business Officer for several public and private life science companies, including Proove Biosciences, Aeolus Pharmaceuticals, Spectrum Pharmaceuticals and Hana Biosciences. From time to time, he also acted as a consulting CFO to various life science companies as Managing Director of RSL Ventures. Earlier in his career, Skibsted held roles as Portfolio Management Partner and CFO at Asset Management Company, and Vice President for GE Capital Services Structured Finance Group.
ClearPoint Neuro, Inc. [IRVINE, CA] (NASDAQ: CLPT) announced that Danilo D’Alessandro has been appointed the Company’s next Chief Financial Officer (CFO) succeeding Harold A. (Hal) Hurwitz who plans to retire in 2021. D’Alessandro will join the Company on September 29, 2020 initially as Vice President of Finance. D’Alessandro will assume the CFO position on January 1, 2021. D’Alessandro most recently served as the global Head of Finance of the Image Guided Therapy Devices division at Philips. Prior to that, he held a variety of senior roles at Philips in Finance and M&A, both in the United States and the Netherlands.
RCI Hospitality Holdings, Inc. [HOUSTON] (NASDAQ: RICK) announced Bradley Chhay succeeds Phillip Marshall as Chief Financial Officer as part of a planned transition. After briefly serving as CFO for a smaller, privately-held, multi-unit restaurant chain, Chhay joined RCI in November 2015 as Controller. From 2013-2015, Chhay was an Audit Supervisor and Global ERP Project Lead for RigNet, Inc. From 2009-2013, he served as Internal Audit Senior, IT Auditor, and Senior Fraud Auditor for Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. Prior to Live Nation, he was an auditor for Deloitte & Touche LLP.
ApiJect Systems America, Inc. [STAMFORD, CT] announced that Rajesh (Raj) J. Asarpota has joined the organization as its new Chief Financial Officer. Asarpota joins ApiJect after his most recent role as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer with NuVasive. Prior to that he spent 2 years in the private equity space at Imaging Advantage as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer which was acquired by Envision in 2015 and at Cole Parmer as COO and CFO. In 2014, he served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Questcor Pharmaceuticals which was acquired by Mallinckrodt . Asarpota also spent a decade at Life Technologies. Asarpota assumes responsibilities from Peter Stone, who served as ApiJect’s Acting Chief Financial Officer. Stone continues at ApiJect in his role as Head of M&A and Executive Vice President.
Pacific Biosciences of California, Inc. [MENLO PARK, CA] (NASDAQ: PACB) announced the appointment of Susan G. Kim as Chief Financial Officer, effective as of September 28, 2020. Kim most recently served as Chief Financial Officer for App Annie and Katerra. Over the course of Kim’s career, she has held a variety of leadership roles with global public companies including KLA Corporation, Morgan Stanley, and Advanced Micro Devices.
LMP Automotive Holdings, Inc. [PLANTATION, FL] (NASDAQ: LMPX) announced the appointment of former Braman Automotive Chief Finance Officer Evan Bernstein as its Chief Financial Officer. From 2005 to 2008, Bernstein served as Assistant Controller at the Braman Organization, rising to Controller from 2008 to 2009, Senior Controller from 2009 to 2015 and Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Braman Automotive Dealerships Miami from 2015 to 2019.
Starton Therapeutics Inc. [NEW YORK] announced that Keith Darragh has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Darragh is the former Chief Financial Officer of Pharmacosmos Therapeutics Inc. and Eleison Pharmaceuticals LLC. Darragh is taking over from Christopher Chipman, who served as consulting Chief Financial Officer from January 2018 through July 2020.
General Cannabis Corp. [DENVER] (OTCQB: CANN) announced it has named Diane Jones as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining General Cannabis Corp, Jones served as Corporate Controller for the Americas at Cardino. Before that, she was Worldwide Controller and Senior Director of Shared Financial Services at Arrow Electronics and earlier served as Assistant Corporate Controller at Ball Corporation. She began her career as a CPA with Ernst & Young.
Sojern [SAN FRANCISCO] announced that Aman Kothari has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Prior to Sojern, Aman served in executive finance roles at companies including Auction.com and Yahoo!
Donohoe Hospitality Services [BETHESDA, MD], a division of Donohoe, announced the appointment of Dana English as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). English joins Donohoe Hospitality from Real Hospitality Group (RHG) where she was CFO. English also served as Corporate Controller at Modus Hotels and held multiple senior leadership positions with Marshall Hotels and Resorts. She began her career at the front desk at a family owned hotel.
Applied Systems [UNIVERSITY PARK, IL] announced that it has appointed Graham Blackwell as the Company’s next chief financial officer. Graham succeeds current CFO, Ryan Hobbs, who is stepping away at the end of September after nine years at the company. Blackwell joins Applied from SMS Assist, where he was chief commercial officer. Prior to SMS Assist, Blackwell was an executive vice president with Bain Capital’s North American Private Equity Team. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Blackwell was an associate partner with McKinsey & Company and a consultant with Accenture.
Extended Stay America, Inc. [CHARLOTTE, NC] and its paired-share REIT, ESH Hospitality, Inc. (together, the “Company”) (NASDAQ: STAY) announced that David Clarkson has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Clarkson succeeds Brian Nicholson, who has resigned from the Chief Financial Officer role. Nicholson will continue with STAY in a consulting role until February 26, 2021 to assist with the transition. Clarkson has served as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis and Treasurer of the Company since September 2015 and Treasurer since May 2013. Clarkson served as Interim Chief Financial Officer of the Company from January 2018 until May 2018. Clarkson served as Director of Corporate Finance from May 2011 until May 2013. Prior to joining the Company in 2011, Clarkson was Vice President of Finance and Development for The Clarkson Group, a real estate company focused primarily on limited service hotel development. Between 1996 and 2004, Mr. Clarkson held various positions in finance and revenue management for the Company’s predecessor, Extended Stay America, Inc.
Destination Pet [HIGHLANDS RANCH, CO] announced the appointment of Mike McArthur as its Chief Financial Officer. Most recently he was VP of Corporate Development at DaVita, Inc. McArthur spent 23 years in healthcare investment banking. He ultimately led several of the healthcare banking groups and worked for firms such as Deloitte Corporate Finance; Macquarie Capital; DLJ; Montgomery Securities; Wedbush Morgan; and Kidder, Peabody. In addition, he spent several years as the CFO of a start-up in the pet space, Zoasis.
DXC Technology [TYSONS, VA] (NYSE: DXC) announced that DXC Chief Financial Officer, Paul Saleh, has been named Chief Executive Officer of DXC’s U.S. State and Local Health and Human Services business, effective upon closing of the sale of the business to Veritas Capital. Saleh will continue to serve as DXC CFO until the closing of the sale. DXC veteran Neil Manna, Senior Vice-President & Corporate Controller, will serve as interim CFO.
CareFinders Total Care [HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ] announced the appointment of Glenn Williams as the Company’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Williams has over 25 years of expertise leading financial teams at large hospital-based healthcare systems, including Stamford Health System – Stamford Hospital, Yale New Haven Health – Greenwich Hospital, and the UJA Federation of Hospitals of New York where he served as the VP, Finance & Administration, Treasurer for 10 years.
Western Midstream Partners, LP [HOUSTON] (NYSE: WES) announced that Michael C. Pearl has left his position as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the General Partner and that Michael P. Ure, President and Chief Executive Officer of the General Partner, will assume Mr. Pearl’s duties and responsibilities until a successor is identified.
Hero Digital LLC [AUSTIN] announced the appointment of Iser Cukierman as Chief Financial Officer. Cukierman joins Hero from eMDs, where he was the CFO. His career spans industries that include marketing automation, professional services, and healthcare IT.
Blume Global [PLEASANTON, CA] announced Tom Williams as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Most recently, Williams led the finance team at Steelwedge as their CFO. Prior to Steelwedge, Williams served as Chief Financial Officer for Evestment, Inc.
FAVO Realty Inc. [GARDEN CITY, NY] (OTC PINK: FAVO) announced that the Company has added Paul Norman to serve as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of FAVO Capital’s Funding Division. Norman has served as CFO/CEO of Clout Financial Services, CFO of Pay-O-Matic and more recently as CFO of Reliant Funding. Prior to these, he spent almost two decades at JP Morgan Chase and Citigroup.
J & J Snack Foods Corp. [Pennsauken, NJ] (NASDAQ: JJSF) announced that Ken Plunk has been appointed Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Plunk joins J & J with broad corporate and operational finance experience gained from leadership roles at Walmart, Home Depot and Coca-Cola. At Walmart, Plunk held senior executive positions across Walmart’s three business segments and was most recently Senior Vice President, International Finance. Plunk also held positions of Walmart China CFO, Senior Vice President of US Finance, Strategy and Real Estate, Vice President Finance, Sam’s Club and Vice President of Internal Audit Services for Walmart. Dennis Moore, current CFO, whose retirement was announced in April 2020, will remain on as an employee for the next several months to assist with the transition.
Sequential Brands Group, Inc. [NEW YORK] announced that Daniel Hanbridge provided notice that he will step down as Senior Vice President & Interim Chief Financial Officer, anticipated to be effective November 16, 2020.
A10 Networks, Inc. [San Jose, CA] announced that Tom Constantino resigned as the Chief Financial Officer of A10 Networks, Inc. The Company appointed Brian Becker to serve as the Interim Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Becker has served as the Company’s Vice President and Corporate Controller since January 2018. Prior to joining the Company, Becker served as Vice President, Accounting and Corporate Controller for YuMe, Inc., from June 2014 to December 2017, and as Director, Revenue and Cost Accounting from August 2013 to June 2014. Becker also served in various roles within Revenue Accounting at Symantec Corporation, a cybersecurity software and services company, from 2010 through 2012.
MICT, Inc. [Montvale, NJ] appointed Arie Rand as Chief Financial Officer. From 2013 until June 2020, Rand served as Chief Financial Officer of Edwards Lifesciences (Israel ) Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Edwards Lifesciences, Inc. From October 2010 until 2012, Rand served as Chief Financial Officer of Deltathree, Inc.
