Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. [UNION, NJ] (NASDAQ: BBBY) announced the appointment of Gustavo Arnal as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) & Treasurer. Arnal joins the Company following his previous role as Group CFO of Avon, prior to which he held senior positions at Walgreens Boots Alliance and Procter & Gamble. Bed Bath & Beyond’s current CFO & Treasurer Robyn D’Elia is departing the Company. Prior to Avon, Arnal was CFO, International Divisions and Global Functions at Walgreens Boots Alliance. He previously served in senior positions at Procter & Gamble, including CFO of India, Middle East and Africa, CFO Global Fabric and Home Care, and CFO Global Personal Beauty.
Branch [Minneapolis] announced the appointment of Brian Whalen as Chief Financial Officer. Before joining Branch, he served as the CFO and co-founder of Blispay, a point of sale company that was acquired by Alliance Data Systems in 2019. Prior to Blispay, he was the Chief Financial Officer of NetworkForGood.com. Whalen has also served as the CFO of Global Credit for PayPal, the Head of North American Business Development at PayPal, and he was part of the founding team of BillMeLater in 2000, which was subsequently acquired by PayPal in 2008.
Ceres Global Ag Corp. [MINNEAPOLIS] (TSX: CRP) announced the hire of Jay Bierley to serve as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. Bierley replaces Interim Chief Financial Officer John Haug. Haug will remain with Ceres in an advisory role to assist with Mr. Bierley’s transition and a variety of other matters until the end of the fiscal year. Bierley joins Ceres from Bunge where he worked across North America and Asia in regional and global CFO and financial leadership roles for 18 years.
Zosano Pharma Corporation [FREMONT, Calif.] (NASDAQ: ZSAN) announced the appointment of Christine Matthews as the company’s chief financial officer (CFO). Matthews was most recently the interim CFO at Zosano, a position she was appointed to after having served as the company’s vice president and corporate controller. Previously, Matthews was as an accounting and financial consultant with RGP. Her past positions include senior director of financial planning & analysis at Cepheid, as well as group director of finance at Cadence Design Systems. Matthews began her career with Arthur Andersen, LLP.
Blue Bird Corporation [MACON, Ga.] (NASDAQ: BLBD) announced the appointment of Jeff Taylor as CFO, effective June 1, 2020. Phil Tighe will be stepping down as CFO effective June 1, 2020. Most recently Taylor served as Chief Financial Officer at Wabash National Corporation.
Vista Outdoor Inc. [ANOKA, Minn.] (NYSE: VSTO) announced the appointment of Sudhanshu Priyadarshi as Vista Outdoor’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Priyadarshi succeeds Mick Lopez, who will be leaving the Company after a transition period. Priyadarshi most recently worked as CFO of Flexport and before that, VP of Finance for Walmart’s e-commerce business. Priyadarshi began his career at PepsiCo, spending 14 years there in a variety of finance, planning and strategy-related roles, concluding as CFO for PepsiCo’s Global R&D and Global Nutritional Platforms.
Impac Mortgage Holdings, Inc. [IRVINE, Calif.] (NYSE American: IMH) announced that Paul Licon, the Company’s current Chief Accounting Officer / Controller has assumed the position of Chief Financial Officer as part of a planned transition. Licon has been with Impac since April 2016. Prior to that, he served as a Senior Manager and as a Principal with the accounting firms KPMG and Squar Milner, respectively. Chief Financial Officer Brian Kuelbs has stepped down effective April 30, 2020 to pursue other professional opportunities.
ImageWare® Systems, Inc. [SAN DIEGO] (OTCQB: IWSY) announced the appointment of Jonathan D. Morris as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). His career includes key leadership positions with a large private family office in New York. He also had key roles with the Blackstone Group, Credit Suisse, Gain Capital, and Lombard, Odier et Cie. Most recently, he joins ImageWare from American Patriot Brands, where he served as the CFO.
CSC [WILMINGTON, Del.] announced that Tom Porth, executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO), has communicated his plan to retire in early July 2020. EJ Dealy, executive vice president and head of Corporate Development, has been elected to succeed Porth as CFO. Effective April 27, 2020, Dealy became the CFO. Dealy joined CSC in 2010 following a career in manufacturing and consulting.
Equity Bancshares, Inc. [WICHITA, Kan.] (NASDAQ: EQBK), the holding company of Equity Bank, announced the hire of Eric R. Newell as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”). Chief Financial Officer Gregory H. Kossover is now Chief Operating Officer. Newell will join Equity on April 30, 2020 and assume CFO duties after the completion of the second quarter reporting period and following the filing of Equity’s second quarter 10-Q, after June 30, 2020. Newell joins Equity after most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer at United Bank, a subsidiary of United Financial Bancorp, Inc.
Maui Land & Pineapple Company, Inc. [KAPALUA RESORT, Hawaii] appointed Michael S. Hotta as Chief Financial Officer, effective May 26, 2020. Prior to joining Maui Land & Pineapple Company, Inc., he served as Chief Operating Officer of DK Restaurants in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Costar Technologies, Inc. [COPPELL, Texas] (OTC Markets Group: CSTI) announced that Sarah Ryder has been named Chief Financial Officer. Ryder joined Costar as the Corporate Controller in 2015. She held previous positions at CBIZ, Inc., Cricket Communications Inc., and RSM.
Arlo Technologies, Inc. [SAN JOSE, Calif.] (NYSE: ARLO) announced that Christine Gorjanc, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), will retire from her role, effective June 15, 2020. Gordon Mattingly, Arlo’s Senior Vice President, Finance since July 2018, will take over Gorjanc’s roles, effective as of Gorjanc’s retirement. Mattingly previously served in various senior leadership roles in Finance and Operations at Netgear over the past decade and was an instrumental part of the separation and launch of Arlo. Ms. Gorjanc has agreed to remain in the CFO role until June 15 to ensure a smooth transition.
Health Partners Plans (HPP) [PHILADELPHIA] announced that Kevin Clancy joined the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Most recently, Clancy served as vice president and chief financial officer for UnitedHealthcare/Rocky Mountain Health Plans in Colorado. Previously, Clancy was vice president, finance, chief financial officer and interim chief operating officer at FamilyCare. Prior to FamilyCare, Clancy served as the vice president, finance for Anthem/Amerigroup in Houston, Texas.
First Northwest Bancorp [PORT ANGELES, Wash.] (NASDAQ: FNWB), the holding company for First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Port Angeles, announced the promotion of Geri Bullard to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Bullard had been serving as Senior Vice President, Interim Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of First Federal. Bullard joined the bank earlier this year as SVP and Treasurer and was promoted to Interim Chief Financial Officer following the departure of Regina Wood in March 2020. Prior to joining First Federal, Bullard served as Controller at Salal Credit Union, located in Seattle, from August 2018 to January 2020, and Chief Financial Officer of First Sound Bank, also in Seattle, from February 2017 to August 2018. She also served as a Bank Examiner for the State of Idaho from February 2012 to October 2014.
The EmblemHealth family of companies [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Heather Tamborino as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President of Finance for Highmark Inc. and CFO of Gateway Health Plan.
NetDocuments [SALT LAKE CITY] announced the addition of Hugo Doetsch as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Prior to joining NetDocuments, Hugo served as Head of Finance, Investor Relations, and Strategy & Corporate Development for Ping Identity and previously was Global Head of Services Investment Banking for Citigroup in New York, NY. Doetsch replaces Pete Childs, who retired from his position as NetDocuments CFO in April.
Sevan Multi-Site Solutions, Inc. [DOWNERS GROVE, Ill.] announced Paul Evans has been named the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Before joining Sevan, he served as Interim Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at Hill International, Chief Financial Officer at MYR Group, Chief Executive Officer at Conex Energy Corporation and Treasurer at NorthWestern Energy.
oneZero Financial Systems [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] announced that Fraser McHardy has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. McHardy’s experience includes prior financial leadership roles at State Street Corporation where he was CFO for the Global Markets, Global Exchange and CRD business units, which included the FX technology platforms Currenex and FX Connect. Prior to State Street, McHardy held senior financial positions at BNY Mellon, Bank of Scotland and Deloitte.
Planful, Inc. [REDWOOD CITY, Calif.] announced that Shane Hansen has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Prior to joining Planful, Hansen served as Divisional CFO for Vivint Smart Home, where he had previously served as Vice President (VP) of Finance, Strategy, Innovation & Business Development. Before that role, Hansen held several key financial analytics, go-to-market, and value creation leadership positions with security software leader Symantec, steadily rising through the ranks to become the VP of Finance, Enterprise Security.
The Pohlad Companies [MINNEAPOLIS] announced that Dennis Goetz has joined the organization as Chief Financial Officer. Goetz has nearly 30 years of experience in finance and accounting roles in both public and private companies, including Carlson Companies, Buca di Beppo, and United Sports Brands. Most recently, Goetz was the founder and principal of Boyd Consulting Group, LLC.
Integral Ad Science (IAS) [NEW YORK] announced Eu-Gene Sung has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer. Sung joins IAS after spending three years as the Chief Financial Officer of BSE Global. Prior to BSE Global, Sung spent nearly eleven years within Interpublic Group in various roles. She was also previously CFO of McCann New York.
Agilyx Corporation [PORTLAND, Ore.] announced the addition of Russell Main as Chief Financial Officer. Main will be assuming the CFO position from William Cooper, who has held a dual role as CFO and SVP of Corporate Strategy and Development for the past three years. This move allows Cooper to focus on the growing business development pipeline and growth opportunities the Company is supporting.
Aurinia Pharmaceuticals Inc. [VICTORIA, British Columbia & ROCKVILLE, Md.] (NASDAQ: AUPH, TSX: AUP) announced the appointment of Joe Miller as Chief Financial Officer. Dennis Bourgeault will be retiring from that role after serving the Company for more than two decades. Most recently, Miller served as Chief Financial Officer, Principal Executive Officer, and Corporate Secretary at Cerecor, Inc. Miller currently serves as a director on Cerecor’s Board. Prior to Cerecor, Miller was the Vice President of Finance at Sucampo Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Gotransverse [AUSTIN, Texas] announced that Sean Daniel would assume the role of Chief Financial Officer for the company. Daniel joined Gotransverse in 2018 as Vice President of Finance. Before joining Gotransverse, Sean held leadership roles with Upland Software, Dell, and Continental Airlines.
ViewRay, Inc. [CLEVELAND] (NASDAQ: VRAY) announced that Zach Stassen has been named Chief Financial Officer, effective May 18, 2020. Most recently he served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Bolder Surgical. Prior to Bolder Surgical, he held various finance and business development roles at Spectranetics, including Vice President of Finance, before its acquisition by Royal Philips. Previously, Stassen was Co-founder and Chief Financial Officer at Emerge Medical, which was acquired by Cardinal Health. He also spent time with the Piper Sandler (formerly Piper Jaffray) medical technology investment banking group. Stassen replaces interim CFO Brian Knaley.
BVI [WALTHAM, Mass.] announced that it has named David Murray as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, David served as Chief Financial Officer of Alcon AG from 2015 until its spin-off from Novartis Group AG in 2019. During his 19 years with Novartis, David also served as CFO for its Vaccines & Diagnostics division, as well as several other senior finance leadership roles within the Pharma division. Prior to Novartis, he held senior leadership roles at General Motors, Swiss Bank Corp, and British Petroleum.
Eventus Systems, Inc. [AUSTIN] announced the appointment of Perry Barth as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Barth served most recently for four years as Vice President and CFO for Alchemy Systems. Previously, he was Vice President and CFO for Uplogix Inc. Earlier roles included Vice President of Finance and Worldwide Corporate Controller for Borland Software and Senior Controller of Cisco Systems Inc.
