Western Digital Corp. [SAN JOSE, CA] (NASDAQ: WDC) announced the appointment of Robert Eulau as executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO). Eulau will formally take over the CFO role from Mark Long on May 9, 2019, who will be leaving the company in June 2019. Eulau was most recently CEO at Sanmina Corporation where he previously served for eight years as CFO. Previously, Eulau held chief financial officer positions at Alien Technology Corporation and Rambus Incorporated, and held a number of financial leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard Company.
PRIDE Industries [ROSEVILLE, CA] announced the appointment of Everett Crane as Chief Financial Officer. Everett Crane is succeeding Jeff Dern, who was promoted to President of PRIDE Industries in 2018. In his prior position, Crane served as the CFO of the Young Automotive Group in Layton, UT.
JPMorgan Chase & Co. [NEW YORK, NY] (NYSE:JPM) announced that Jennifer Piepszak, currently Chief Executive Officer of its Card Services business, will become Chief Financial Officer for the company and a member of its Operating Committee, effective May 1, 2019. Ms. Piepszak succeeds Marianne Lake, who will become Chief Executive Officer of Consumer Lending, which includes Card Services, Home Lending and Auto Finance. Prior to heading Card Services, Ms. Piepszak served as CEO of the firm’s Business Banking unit, and prior to that she held a variety of other senior roles, including CFO of Mortgage Banking and Controller of Mortgage Banking and Retail Financial Services. She joined JPMorgan Chase in 1994 and held a variety of roles in the Corporate & Investment Bank as well.
Pier 1 Imports, Inc. [FORT WORTH, TX] (NYSE: PIR) announced that Deborah Rieger-Paganis will assume the role of Interim Chief Financial Officer. Her appointment follows Nancy Walsh’s departure from the Company. Ms. Rieger-Paganis is employed as a managing director at global consulting firm AlixPartners, where she has served as both an advisor and interim Chief Financial Officer to a range of companies, including Aritzia, Toms Shoes, Harris Interactive and Cirque du Soleil. Earlier in her career, she served as senior vice president of financial planning and analysis at MasterCard and as vice president of finance at Ann Taylor.
deepwatch, Inc. [DENVER & ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.] announced that Ron Peele has joined as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Peele was CFO at Revolution Health, AOL Greenhouse and EZ Communications. He held leadership roles at AOL/Time Warner Ventures and has served on the Boards of RedClinic, Surefire Local and InfuSystem. Reskusic was VP, Controller at Vivisimo which was acquired by IBM and more recently at Fidelis Cybersecurity. He also held finance leadership roles at Kastle Systems and RealNetworks.
Ensysce Biosciences Inc. [SAN DIEGO, CA] announced that Kurt Schmidt has been appointed as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. Schmidt recently held positions at healthcare companies MDxHealth and Agendia where he was CFO.
KSQ Therapeutics [CAMBRIDGE, MA] announced the appointment of Douglas Pagán as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining KSQ, Mr. Pagán was Chief Financial Officer of Paratek Pharmaceuticals. Prior to Paratek, Mr. Pagán served as Vice President, Finance at Acceleron Pharma Inc. Prior to working at Acceleron, he served in strategic and financial management roles at Biogen Idec and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Previously, Mr. Pagán worked in healthcare investment banking at J.P. Morgan, as well as pharmaceutical operational roles at Johnson & Johnson.
One Madison Corporation [NEW YORK, NY] (NYSE: OMAD, OMAD.U, OMAD.WS) and Ranpak Corp. today announced the appointment of Trent Meyerhoefer as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”), effective as of, and contingent on, the consummation of the business combination between One Madison and Ranpak, which is expected to occur in the second quarter of 2019. Meyerhoefer comes to the Company following a 24-year career at Eaton Corporation, where he served most recently as Senior Vice President and Treasurer. During his time at Eaton, Mr. Meyerhoefer also served as Vice President and Assistant Treasurer; Director, Capital Markets; Director, Corporate Planning; Director, Business Development; and Manager, Strategic Planning. Prior to joining Eaton, he was a Senior Consultant at Accenture Ltd. (then doing business as Andersen Consulting).
J.Jill, Inc. [QUINCY, MA] (NYSE: JILL) announced the appointment of Mark Webb as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, effective May 1, 2019. The company had previously announced that Chief Financial and Operating Officer Dave Biese will be leaving the company on April 30, 2019. Most recently, Mr. Webb was Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Planning & Analysis and Treasury Officer at Hudson’s Bay Company. He previously was with Gap, Inc. from 1995 through 2017 in multiple leadership roles including Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Gap Brand and Intermix.
SunTrust Banks Inc. [ATLANTA, GA] (STIS), said CFO Allison Dukes plans to resign following the closing of the bank’s planned merger with BB&T Corp. Ms. Dukes will remain in her current role until the merger is closed and will continue to have a key role in integration planning.
Georgia Power [ATLANTA, GA] appointed David Poroch as executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer. Poroch began his career with Southern Company in 2012 as vice president and chief audit executive for Southern Company Services. Most recently, he has served as Georgia Power vice president and comptroller since 2014. Prior to joining Southern Company, he was a partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP.
CenterPoint Energy, Inc. [HOUSTON, TX] (NYSE: CNP) announced the appointment of Xia Liu as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Liu joins CenterPoint Energy from The Southern Company and its subsidiary companies where she held roles of increasing responsibility over the past 20 years. Most recently, Liu served as executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Georgia Power Company. Prior to this role, Liu was vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer for Gulf Power Company. She also served as senior vice president of finance and treasurer for Southern Company.
The Millenia Companies [CLEVELAND, OH] announced Jim Brady as chief financial officer (CFO). Brady is succeeding John W. McGinty, who is remaining with the organization. Most recently, Brady served as vice president of financial planning and analysis for Forest City Realty Trust and as chief financial officer of the residential and commercial group for Forest City Enterprises.
The Hershey Company [HERSHEY, PA] (NYSE: HSY) announced the appointment of Steve Voskuil as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Voskuil will join Hershey on May 13. Voskuil joins Hershey from Avanos Medical, where he has served as Chief Financial Officer since 2014. He previously served as a senior finance executive at Kimberly-Clark. Voskuil succeeds Patricia Little, who, as previously announced, will retire in May.
StoneMor Partners L.P. [TREVOSE, PA] (NYSE: STON), announced that Garry P. Herdler has been appointed Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Herdler will succeed Mark Miller, who is retiring from the Partnership. Most recently, Herdler was the Chief Financial Officer of QuadReal Property Group. Prior to his CFO role at QuadReal, Mr. Herdler was a Senior Director in the Private Equity Performance Improvement Group of Alvarez & Marsal Consultants in New York. Previously, Mr. Herdler acted as a financial consultant and CFO for various private equity-owned companies, responsible for operational improvements, business integration and turnarounds. He also has nearly ten years of investment banking experience in leveraged finance and equities with Deutsche Bank Securities/Bankers Trust and CIBC World Markets, primarily in New York, where he completed transactions in several industries, including deathcare.
InCloudCounsel [SAN FRANCISCO, CA] announced the hire of Jeff Bohl as its Chief Financial Officer. Jeff joins InCloudCounsel from H.I.G. Capital, where he served as Managing Director. Prior to H.I.G. Capital, he worked as an investment banker in JPMorgan’s technology division.
CMI/Compas [KING OF PRUSSIA, PA], part of WPP (NYSE: WPP) announced that John Donovan, has been promoted to President, Compas. He was formerly Chief Financial Officer. James Woodland has been appointed Chief Strategy and Financial Officer. He was formerly Chief Operating Officer.
Unisys Corporation [BLUE BELL, PA] (NYSE: UIS) announced that Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Inder M. Singh has decided to resign from the company effective April 26 to serve as CFO with another company. Unisys has appointed Mike Thomson, corporate controller and principal accounting officer, as interim CFO. Thomson joined Unisys in December 2015. Prior to joining Unisys, Thomson served as principal accounting officer and controller of Towers Watson & Company, and has worked in various accounting and financial reporting roles for more than 25 years across a diverse set of business operations.
Rennova Health, Inc. [WEST PALM BEACH, FL] (OTC: RNVA, RNVAW) announced that it has appointed Jonathan Immordino to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Immordino has held senior level healthcare executive roles in finance and operations for the past 20 years in both public and privately held companies, including seven years as Chief Financial Officer at Saint John’s Episcopal Hospital, NY. Prior to his appointment with Rennova, Mr. Immordino was interim CFO at MRI Network/Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.
