Hibbett Sports, Inc. [BIRMINGHAM, Alabama] (NASDAQ/GS: HIBB) announced that Christine Skold is temporarily joining the Company as Interim Chief Financial Officer effective April 26, 2019, succeeding Scott Bowman, whose resignation was announced previously. Skold served 15 years with retail company Tractor Supply Company, holding several progressive positions in accounting. She additionally held the positions of Vice President Internal Audit and Vice President Strategy and Continuous Improvement, with her final position at Tractor Supply Company being Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications. Previously, Ms. Skold was Assistant Controller at Moll Industries and worked eight years at Arthur Andersen, LLP.
OneMain Holdings, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: OMF) announced the appointment of Micah Conrad as the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Conrad previously served as the company’s Acting CFO. Before being appointed Acting CFO last month, Conrad served as OneMain’s Deputy CFO after Springleaf’s acquisition of OneMain Financial from Citigroup in 2015. Conrad was CFO of OneMain before the acquisition. Prior to his time at OneMain, Conrad was a managing director at Citigroup and served in a variety of senior finance roles within Citi Holdings, Global Wealth Management and Institutional Clients Group.
Gordian [GREENVILLE, SC] announced that Kate Morgan joined Gordian’s Executive Team as Chief Financial Officer. Kate joins Gordian after serving as the Vice President of Finance at Veeder-Root, a sister company also owned by Fortive. Prior to joining the Fortive family, Kate held a variety of finance positions at Eaton and the UTC/Carrier Corporation.
PTC [BOSTON, Massachusetts] (NASDAQ: PTC) announced the appointment of Kristian Talvitie as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective May 15, 2019. Talvitie previously worked at PTC from 2008 to 2016. From 2002 to 2008, Talvitie worked at electronics contract manufacturer Plexus in roles as market sector vice president, leading sales and business development, and vice president of corporate marketing. He joined PTC in 2008 and served in various executive finance roles. He left PTC in 2016 to become CFO at SaaS and subscription company Sovos, and in 2018 joined software company Syncsort as CFO. Talvitie replaces Andrew Miller, who announced in January 2019 his intention to retire by the end of fiscal 2019.
Imperva, Inc. [REDWOOD SHORES, California] announced the appointment of Jim Dildine as chief financial officer. Prior to joining Imperva, he held key financial leadership roles at Blue Coat Systems and Symantec’s Enterprise Security division, where he served for the past two and a half years.
Park West Gallery [SOUTHFIELD, Michigan] hired Robert Schlagheck as their new Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Park West, Schlagheck held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Telemus. He also held several additional positions throughout his time with Telemus, including Director of Technology and Data, Treasurer, and more. Schlagheck also taught at Western International University from 2008-2014.
Performance Trust Capital Partners, LLC [CHICAGO, Illinois] announced that Jason Carver joined as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the Global Trading division of FIS.
Bitvore [IRVINE, California] announced it has named Bill Ruehle as CFO. Ruehle became CFO of Silicon Valley-based SynOptics Communications led the merger with Wellfleet that created Bay Networks. Following that, he joined Broadcom Corporation. Since leaving Broadcom, Ruehle has worked with a number of tech companies through his own advisory business. Most recently, he was CFO of ClariPhy through its successful sale to Inphi Corporation. Since that transaction he has been a member of the Board of Inphi.
Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc. (IAA), [WESTCHESTER, Illinois] a business unit of KAR Auction Services (NYSE: KAR), announced the appointment of Vance Johnston as chief financial officer. Most recently, Johnston served as chief financial officer for SP Plus Corporation. Prior to SP Plus, Johnston was chief financial officer for Furniture Brands International and held various positions at leading companies, such as Miami Jewish Health Systems, Royal Caribbean International, Burger King and OfficeMax. He started his career at Ernst & Young in the firm’s audit division.
VITAS® Healthcare [MIAMI, Florida] appointed Jeffrey M. Kreger as executive vice president (EVP) and chief financial officer (CFO). Kreger succeeds President and CFO David Wester who announced his retirement in early 2019 after a 22-year career at VITAS.
Kraton Corporation [HOUSTON, Texas] (NYSE: KRA) announced that it has appointed Atanas H. Atanasov to serve as the Company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective May 6, 2019. Mr. Atanasov will assume the Chief Financial Officer role from Christopher H. Russell, the Company’s Chief Accounting Officer, who has also served as Interim Chief Financial Officer since November 2018. Atanasov most recently served as a Chief Financial Officer of Empire Petroleum Partners, LLC. Prior to joining Empire Petroleum Partners LLC in 2016, he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of NGL Energy Partners. Mr. Atanasov also spent nine years with GE Capital in various finance roles of increasing responsibility.
VIQ Solutions Inc. [PHOENIX, Arizona] (TSX-V: VQS) announced the appointment of Alexie Edwards as Chief Financial Officer, following the upcoming retirement of George Kempff. For the past six years he was Vice President Finance at Jonas Software. Jonas Software is one of the largest software divisions of Constellation Software.
Adverum Biotechnologies, Inc. [MENLO PARK, California] (NASDAQ: ADVM) announced the appointment of Thomas Leung as chief financial officer. Leung was most recently vice president, business operations at Counsyl, which was recently acquired by Myriad Genetics. Previously, he was a vice president at TPG Capital in San Francisco and Hong Kong. Leung began his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley.
Jobcase [BOSTON, Massachusetts] announced the appointment of Beth Clymer as the company’s Chief Financial Officer effective May 2019. Clymer was most recently an Operating Partner at Bain Capital Private Equity. Prior to joining Bain Capital Private Equity, Clymber was a consultant at the Parthenon Group.
Veritas Farms, Inc. [FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida] (OTCQB: VFRM) announced the appointment of Michael D. Pelletier as its Chief Financial Officer. Pelletier was most recently Chief Financial Officer of Inter-Continental Cigar Corp. (ICCC) for over 20 years, from 1997 until joining the Company. Prior to his long career in the cigar industry, Mr. Pelletier held other senior accounting and finance roles, including Assistant Controller of Gold Coast Media, from 1995 to 1997, and Controller – Southeast of Hunter Douglas, Inc., from 1990 to 1995. Earlier in his career, Mr. Pelletier spent more than 4 years with Pelletier & Veal CPA’s.
CBRE Group, Inc. [LOS ANGELES, CA], (NYSE: CBRE) announced that Leah C. Stearns will join the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Ms. Stearns, who assumes her new role on May 15, was previously Senior Vice President and CFO for American Tower Corporation’s U.S. division. Stearns’ appointment enables Jim Groch to focus full time on his responsibilities as the company’s Global Group President and Chief Investment Officer. Stearns also previously served as Chief Executive Officer of American Tower’s EMEA division. American Tower.
TRAVELEX [LOS ANGELES, CA] announced the hiring of Subodh Karnad to the North American management team as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently he was the CFO for Nokia’s emerging consumer product business unit. Prior to Nokia, Subodh led Finance for PayPal’s Global Product and Technology function. Prior to PayPal, Subodh was Vice President of Finance at VISA, this after spending several years in his early career across various finance roles at PayPal and Wells Fargo.
Cipherloc Corporation [AUSTIN, TX] (OTCQB: CLOK) announced the appointment of James Sullivan as Chief Financial Officer. Sullivan previously served as CFO of two Nasdaq-listed companies: MoSys Inc. and 8×8, Inc. He also served as CFO of Apptera, Inc.
American Jewish University [LOS ANGELES, CA] announced the appointment of Adrian Breitfeld as the university’s next Vice President of Finance and Administration/Chief Financial Officer effective June 1st. Breitfeld is currently the Chief Financial Officer of the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco. During his career, Breitfeld also held the position of Controller at the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties, as well as a five-year stint as Controller of Jewish Family Service of Greater Los Angeles. Breitfeld will succeed Zofia Yalovsky who is retiring after 22 years of service to AJU as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial, Administration and Technology Officer.
Skyn ICELAND [NEW YORK] announced the appointment of Linda Esposito to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Esposito’s most recent roles were Senior Vice President Finance at L’Oréal Paris and Chief Financial Officer of Kiehl’s. Prior to her role at L’Oréal Paris, Ms. Esposito was the SVP, Finance at IT Cosmetics.
