S&P Global [NEW YORK] (NYSE: SPGI) announced the resignation of Jack Callahan, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Callahan assumed his current role in 2010.
Fitbit, Inc. [SAN FRANCISCO] (NYSE: FIT) announced that Glenda Flanagan, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Whole Foods Market, have joined the Fitbit, Inc. board of directors. Ms. Flanagan joined Whole Foods Market as CFO in 1988.
DeVry Education Group [DOWNERS GROVE, Ill.] announced that Patrick Unzicker has been named senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer. Unzicker was most recently vice president, chief accounting officer and treasurer of DeVry Group. He succeeds Timothy Wiggins who leaves DeVry Group after nearly 5 years as CFO. Unzicker has been with DeVry Group since 2006 and has held roles of increasing responsibility during his tenure.
Mackinac Financial Corporation [MANISTIQUE, MI] (NASDAQ: MFNC), the holding company for mBank, announced that Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Ernie R. Krueger, will be retiring. They have appointed mBank Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Retail Branch Banking, Marketing & Special Capital Projects, Jesse A. Deering, to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of both Mackinac and mBank. Mr. Krueger has served as EVP & CFO of Mackinac and mBank since October, 2006. He joined Mackinac in 2003 as the company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Deering joined mBank in 2005.
Assurant, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: AIZ) announced the appointment of Richard S. Dziadzio to the role of chief financial officer and treasurer. Dziadzio joins Assurant from QBE North America where he most recently served as CFO. Dziadzio succeeds Christopher J. Pagano, who has served as CFO and treasurer since Aug. 2014 and will move into the newly created role of chief risk officer. Prior to QBE, Dziadzio served as CFO for ANV, a global specialty insurance company. From 1994 to 2012, he held a series of positions of increasing responsibility at AXA Group and was named CFO for AXA Equitable Life Insurance and AXA Financial in 2007.
Calysta, Inc. [MENLO PARK, Calif.] named Lynsey Wenger as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Sustainability Officer. She joins Calysta following a 16-year career with The Goldman Sachs Group. Most recently, Ms. Wenger served as a Vice President in the Investment Banking Division. Previously, she served in the Americas Financing Group as Head of Investment Grade Power, Utility and Midstream Debt Capital Markets. Earlier in her career she held positions in Equity Derivative Sales in the United States and Australia.
Conn’s, Inc. [THE WOODLANDS, Texas] (NASDAQ: CONN) announced the appointment of Lee Wright as the new CFO. Mr. Wright was most recently CEO of Professional Directional Enterprises. Prior to joining Professional Directional in 2012, Mr. Wright was Senior Managing Director at Diamond Castle Holdings.
Quiznos [DENVER] announced that Katie Scherping, current Chief Financial Officer, will serve as Interim President and CEO. Scherping joined the Quiznos team in December 2013 as Chief Financial Officer.
Pacific Premier Bancorp, Inc. [IRVINE, Calif.] (NASDAQ: PPBI), the holding company of Pacific Premier Bank announced that Ronald J. Nicolas, Jr. has been appointed Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of both the Company and the Bank. From 2012 to April 2016, Mr. Nicolas served in various capacities with Banc of California, Inc., and its subsidiary Banc of California, National Association, and their predecessors, including as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of each institution, and Director of Banc of California’s predecessor bank. Prior to that, Mr. Nicolas served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at each of the following financial institutions: Carrington Holding Company, LLC (2009-2012); Residential Credit Holdings, LLC (2008-2009); Fremont Investment & Loan (2005-2008); and Aames Investment/Financial Corp. (2001-2005). He earlier served in various capacities with KeyCorp, including Executive Vice President Group Finance of KeyCorp (1998-2001), Executive Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of KeyBank USA, a banking subsidiary of KeyCorp (1994-1998), and Vice President Corporate Treasury (1993-1994).
Nektar Therapeutics [SAN FRANCISCO] (NASDAQ: NKTR) announced that Gil M. Labrucherie has been named Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Labrucherie has served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Nektar since 2007. Mr. Labrucherie has held several senior leadership positions with increasing responsibility at Nektar since 2005. Prior to joining Nektar, from October 2000 to September 2005, Mr. Labrucherie was Vice President of Corporate Development at E2open, Inc. Prior to E2open, he was the Senior Director of Corporate Development at AltaVista Company. Mr. Labrucherie began his career as an associate in the corporate practice of the law firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and Graham & James (DLA Piper Rudnick).
Air Methods Corporation [DENVER] (NASDAQ: AIRM) announced that Peter Csapo will join as chief financial officer (CFO). Csapo succeeds Trent Carman who will be stepping down from his role of more than 12 years. Csapo most recently served as chief financial officer and treasurer at Accretive Health, Inc. Prior to joining Accretive Health, Csapo was CFO and area senior vice president at Vizient, Inc. From 2004 through 2011, Csapo was CFO at McKesson Health Solutions, which he joined in 1998.
Western Refining Logistics, LP [El Paso, Texas] announced that Karen B. Davis will serve as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and principal accounting officer of the Company. Karen B. Davis, has served as the Executive Vice President of NTI’s general partner and its subsidiaries since February 2015 and held the additional title of CFO of the entities since March 2015. Previously, Ms. Davis served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company from December 2014 through February 2015. Ms. Davis also served as the Vice President – Director of Investor Relations of the Company from December 2014 through February 2015. Previously, Ms. Davis served as the Chief Accounting Officer of PBF Energy Inc., from February 2011 to November 2014, and of PBF Logistics GP LLC the general partner of PBF Logistics LP, from February 2013 until November 2014.
Colfax Corporation [ANNAPOLIS JUNCTION, MD] (NYSE: CFX) announced that Christopher Hix has been named Chief Financial Officer. He succeeds Scott Brannan. Mr. Hix most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer of OM Group, Inc. from 2012 until the company’s acquisition in late 2015. Prior to this assignment, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Robbins & Myers, from 2006-2011. Prior to this, Mr. Hix spent 13 years in a variety of operating and financial roles of increasing responsibility within Roper Industries.
Advanced Emissions Solutions, Inc. [HIGHLANDS RANCH, CO] (OTC PINK: ADES) announced that A. Bradley Gabbard, the Company’s current Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”), will end his assignment at the conclusion of his one-year agreement. Greg Marken, the Company’s current Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting, will be promoted to Chief Accounting Officer and will assume all of Mr. Gabbard’s accounting responsibilities. L. Heath Sampson, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, will assume Mr. Gabbard’s other principal financial officer responsibilities. Mr. Gabbard will remain a director of the Company and is included on the 2016 Board of Directors slate.
Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. [OXNARD, Calif.] (NASDAQ: CDTI) appointed Tracy A. Kern as Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Kern was most recently Chief Financial Officer at Interlink Electronics Corporation, Inc. From 2008 to 2015, Kern was Corporate Controller at Vitesse Semiconductor Corporation. From 2003 to 2008, Kern was Chief Financial Officer of CHAD Therapeutics, Inc. From 1998 to 2003, Kern was Audit Manager at the public accounting firm KPMG, LLP.
Meritage Hospitality Group Inc. [GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.] (OTCQX: MHGU) announced that Tracey Smith has been appointed Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Tracey Smith has been appointed Chief Financial Officer after serving the past 11 years as Controller and Director of Finance for the Company.

Prior to Genentech, led a number of successful acquisition and spin-out deals as a member of the Roche Corporate M&A team.
