Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Inc. [CAMBRIDGE, MA] (NASDAQ: ALNY) announced that Jeff Poulton joined the Company on July 11, 2019 and has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective August 13, 2019. Jeff will join Alnylam with nearly 25 years of experience, including serving as Executive Vice President and CFO of Shire plc. Manmeet S. Soni has decided to resign to pursue other interests; he will continue as CFO of Alnylam through August 12, 2019 providing a smooth transition. Prior to Poulton’s CFO role at Shire he held a variety of financial roles and also served in a general management capacity while leading Shire’s rare disease commercial operations in North America, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. Prior to his fifteen-year tenure at Shire, Jeff led corporate finance and business development initiatives in both the energy and materials manufacturing sectors, in financial leadership positions at Cinergy Corp and PPG industries. He also served as a U.S. Navy Commissioned Officer. Poulton is a member of the Board of Directors of EIP Pharmaceuticals.
MiX Telematics [BOCA RATON, FL] (NYSE: MIXT, JSE: MIX) announced the appointment of John Granara as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) and Executive Vice President. Granara will succeed Paul Dell, who has filled the role of interim CFO since early 2017. Mr. Dell will continue at MiX Telematics in an alternative senior role. Most recently, Granara held the position of CFO at Ameresco Prior to that he was VP Finance and Chief Accounting Officer at GT Advanced Technologies.
Annexon Biosciences [SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA] announced the addition of Jennifer Lew as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Lew served as Chief Financial Officer of Aduro Biotech. Ms. Lew previously held various finance leadership roles at Dynavax Technologies Corporation, and she began her career at Ernst & Young.
Bsquare Corporation [BELLEVUE, WASHINGTON] (NASDAQ: BSQR) announced that Peter Biere, CFO, will resign from his position following a transition period that will include the appointment of a new CFO. Mr. Biere, who has served as CFO since December 2016, will continue as CFO until his replacement is identified and on-boarded.
United Rheumatology [HAUPPAUGE, NY] announced the appointment of Patrick Murphy as Chief Financial Officer. Patrick most recently served as the CFO at CleanSlate Centers. Prior to CleanSlate Centers, Patrick was one of the Founders at Women’s Health USA. He held numerous positions including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and President. He was also a Founder, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of Evolution1. Earlier in his career he had various roles at Value Health and Arthur Andersen.

Aflac Global Investments [NEW YORK] announced that it has hired Stephen Scott as managing director; chief financial officer. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Scott most recently served as chief financial officer for BNY Mellon Investment Management. Prior to that, he served as BNY Mellon Investment Management’s Global Head of FP&A. Scott previously held positions with UBS and Lloyds Treasury Group.
Ampio Pharmaceuticals, Inc. [ENGLEWOOD, CO] (NYSE American: AMPE) announced that Dan Stokely has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, since 2012, Dan served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Sentynl Therapeutics, which was sold to Cadila Healthcare Ltd. in January 2017. From 2004 to 2012, Dan served as Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer of Victory Pharma. Dan served as the Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer for Wireless Facilities, Inc. (currently Kratos Defense & Security Solutions). From 1994 to 2001, Dan served as Corporate Controller of Dura Pharmaceuticals.
Procore Technologies, Inc. [CARPINTERIA, CA] announced the appointment of Paul Lyandres as Chief Financial Officer. Lyandres joined Procore in 2014. Prior to joining the Procore team, Lyandres was as an investor at Bessemer Venture Partners.
Windhaven® Insurance [MIAMI, FL] and The Hearth Insurance Group™ announced that Susan Wollenberg has been selected to serve as Chief Financial Officer for the companies. Wollenberg has been a member of the Board Directors at Windhaven since its founding in the early 2000s. Wollenberg served at Spencer Capital Holdings; Personalized Brokerage Services, an Allianz subsidiary; and E.W. Blanch. She also held leadership roles in Financial Planning and Business Development at Kansas City Southern and GE Insurance. Wollenberg began her career as a Certified Public Accountant at Deloitte.
IDEAYA Biosciences, Inc. [SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA] (NASDAQ: IDYA) announced the promotion of Paul A. Stone as Chief Financial Officer. Paul previously served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Head of Operations. Prior to joining IDEAYA, Paul was with 5AM Ventures in various capacities including as Partner, General Counsel, and Chief Operating Officer, and held early management and operating roles in companies launched at 5AM Ventures, including IDEAYA Biosciences (NASDAQ: IDYA), Homology Medicines, Cidara Therapeutics, and Entrada Therapeutics. Benefitfocus, Inc. [CHARLESTON, SC] (NASDAQ: BNFT) announced the appointment of Stephen M. Swad as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Swad, who will be joining the Company on July 22nd. He is a current member of the Benefitfocus Board of Directors and since 2013 has served on the Audit, Compensation, and Nominating and Governance Committees, as well as Chair of the Compensation Committee. He joins the company from Vox Media, where he has served as CFO since January 2016. Prior to Vox Media, from February 2012 until April 2015, Swad was President, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and a director of Rosetta Stone. He formerly served as Rosetta Stone’s CFO beginning in November 2010. Prior to joining Rosetta Stone, Swad was the Executive Vice President and CFO of Comverse Technology, Inc. Swad has held various senior financial management positions at AOL, Inc. (now part of Oath Inc.), Turner Broadcasting and Time Warner. He was a partner at KPMG LLP and also served as the Deputy Chief Accountant of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Swad previously served on the Board of Eloqua, before it was purchased by Oracle.
CNB Financial [CLEARFIELD, PA] announced the appointment of Tito L. Lima to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CNB Financial Corporation and CNB Bank. Throughout the years he has held various positions in New York, Boston, Pittsburgh, Lancaster and Butler, and has served in roles as a Senior Executive or Chief Financial Officer since 2002 in financial institutions.
TrackX Holdings Inc. [DENVER, Colorado] (TSX-V: TKX; OTC: TKXHF) announced that John Katzenberg has joined the TrackX team as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, John was the Chief Financial Officer of Johnson Storage & Moving Company. Prior to joining Johnson, he led all accounting and finance activities for Corporex Colorado. Previously, John was a Managing Director and one of the founding members of the private equity coverage group in the investment bank at Citigroup. Katzenberg is replacing Gene McConnell as CFO.
Annovis Bio, Inc. [BERWYN, PA] announced that Jeffrey McGroarty has been appointed the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Annovis, Jeff was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Safeguard Scientifics. Before joining Safeguard, Jeff served in a variety of financial roles with a number of publicly traded companies, including Cephalon and Exide Technologies. Jeff started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Better Choice Company, Inc. [NEW YORK] (OTCQB: BTTR) announced the appointment of Andreas Schulmeyer as its Chief Financial Officer. Schulmeyer previously served in CFO roles at both WalMart and PepsiCo. Schulmeyer previously served as CFO – Global e-Commerce and CFO – Asia, at Walmart. Additionally, he was former CFO, China Beverages, at PepsiCo. Schulmeyer joins Better Choice from his private consulting business, Faultline Solutions LLC.
ICU Medical, Inc. [SAN CLEMENTE, CA] (NASDAQ: ICUI) announced that Scott E. Lamb, its Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, has informed the Company of his intention to retire from the Company effective after filing the FY2019 10-K, following over 16 years of service with the Company. After retirement as CFO, Mr. Lamb will serve in an advisory role to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities. Following the change, current Corporate Vice President, Brian Bonnell will be promoted to Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Brian Bonnell joined ICU Medical in 2018 and is currently responsible for the Treasury and Tax functions. Prior to joining ICU, Mr. Bonnell was Treasurer and Head of FP&A for Alere Inc. from 2015 until its acquisition by Abbott. Prior to Alere, Mr. Bonnell spent seven years at CareFusion Corporation, as both SVP of Tax and Treasury and as VP of Finance for Medical Systems. Prior to its spin-off of CareFusion, Mr. Bonnell spent seven years in a variety of Finance roles for Cardinal Health. Mr. Bonnell started his career in 1995 and spent seven years in the audit practice of Arthur Andersen LLP.
Dentsply Sirona Inc. [CHARLOTTE, NC] (NASDAQ: XRAY) announced the appointment of Jorge M. Gomez as Chief Financial Officer. Gomez served as Chief Financial Officer of Cardinal Health since January 2018. Prior to that, Jorge was Chief Financial Officer of the Medical and Pharmaceutical segments, and Treasurer and Corporate Controller at Cardinal Health. Before joining Cardinal Health, Jorge held multiple executive and leadership roles at General Motors and the Smurfit-Kappa Group.

Fareportal [NEW YORK] announced that following the retirement of Ken West, the previous Chief Financial Officer, the Company announced Glenn Cusano as his successor. Cusano is a veteran of the Airline business with over 16 years of service at JetBlue Airways. In his most recent role with the airline, he served as their Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasury.
Surterra Wellness [ATLANTA] announced the expansion of its senior leadership team with the appointment of Fareed Khan as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Khan joins Surterra from the Kellogg Company where he was CFO. Khan previously served as Division CEO of a multi-billion-dollar revenue operating unit at USG Corporation after 12 years of steady ascent through key operating roles at the company. Early in his career, Khan was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. James Whitcomb, who has served as CFO of Surterra since helping launch the company in 2016, will become Executive Director of Corporate Development.
Q-Centrix [CHICAGO] announced today the addition of Todd Seiffer as its Chief Financial and Operations Officer. Before arriving at Q-Centrix, Seiffer spent more than four years as Chief Financial Officer of Businessolver. His previous roles include Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer at Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, Inc., in Chicago.
Guaranteed Rate [CHICAGO] has hired Suk Shah as its Chief Financial Officer. Shah joins the Guaranteed Rate team from his former position of nearly five years at a high-growth financial technology company. Before that, Suk was the CFO of the US and Canadian divisions of a Global Commercial Bank. Shah began his career with General Electric and spent over eight years with the company in various finance and operating roles.
symplr [SANTA MONICA, Calif. and HOUSTON] announced that Jordan Copland has joined as Chief Financial Officer. Tres Thompson, who previously served as symplr’s COO and CFO, will focus on the COO role going forward. Most recently, Copland served as CFO and EVP of Finance and Operations at Quorum Business Solutions and, prior to that, was CFO at Omnitracs. Earlier in his career, Mr. Copland served as Vice President of Finance and Planning at Disney Consumer Products, and he served as Executive Vice President and CFO, and as EVP – Strategic Development, at GSI Commerce.
CareerBuilder [CHICAGO] announced the appointment of Chet Kwasniak as Chief Financial Officer. Kwasniak most recently served as Chief Financial Officer at MW Industries. Prior to that, Kwasniak was Chief Financial Officer of Clear Channel Outdoor Americas.
EIP Pharma, Inc. [CAMBRIDGE, MA] announced the appointment of Noel Donnelly as CFO. onnelly joins EIP Pharma from Takeda Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining EIP, Noel spent the last seven years within Shire, recently acquired by Takeda Pharmaceuticals. Before moving into R&D, Noel held a number of positions of increasing responsibility within the Finance organization in areas such as Commercial, Technical Operations, and ultimately as the Head of R&D Finance at Shire HGT. Prior to that Noel worked for twelve years in financial planning and analysis in financial services and industrial companies.
