Houston Wire & Cable Company [HOUSTON] (NASDAQ: HWCC) announced the appointment of Christopher M. Micklas as its Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Micklas will also serve as the Company’s principal accounting officer. Mr. Mr. Micklas spent 13 years with the General Electric Company in senior finance and business development roles, and 7 years with the Shell Oil Company in senior finance roles. In 2008, he was named Chief Financial Officer of Ennis Paint, and in 2010, he became Director of Finance for the exploration division of BG Group. Most recently Mr. Micklas was Chief Financial Officer for Par Pacific Holdings.
Golf Life Navigators [NAPLES, Fla.] has named Michael Rowe to the newly created position of Chief Financial Officer. Rowe managed capital for hedge funds, for such major financial entities as BNY Capital Markets, Flemings (purchased by JP Morgan) and Broadpoint Capital/Gleacher & Co.
Seven Stars Cloud Group, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NASDAQ: SSC) announced the appointment of Finance Director Jason Wu to assume the role of interim CFO and principal accounting officer of the Company. Mr. Jason Wu, in the interim, will be replacing former CFO, Simon Wang.
Aqua Metals, Inc. [ALAMEDA, Calif.] (NASDAQ: AQMS) announced that Frank Knuettel II has agreed to join the executive team and will become Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Knuettel will succeed Thomas Murphy, who was named interim CFO after the departure of Mark Weinswig in March 2018. Mr. Murphy will continue as a consultant to the company on a number of matters to ensure a smooth transition. He has also been nominated by the Board of Directors for election to the Board. Frank joins Aqua Metals with over 20 years of management and business experience in public and venture-backed firms. He served as CFO for Marathon Patent Group, Inc. from 2014 to 2018. From 2007 to 2013, he was CFO for IP Commerce Inc. Previously, he held several senior financial positions at InfoSearch Media, Inc., Internet Machines Corporation and Viking Systems, Inc., from 1999 to 2007.

Albert Acevedo
PayQwick [CALABASAS, CALIF.] named Albert Acevedo as Chief Financial Officer. Acevedo was the Finance Director at PayPal. Most recently, Acevedo managed a world-class team as Vice President, Corporate Treasurer and Finance at Blackhawk Network. Acevedo has deep technology experience, having streamlined business processes at Hewlett Packard, Agilent Technologies and Broadcom.
Cloudian [SAN MATEO, Calif.] announced the appointment of Michael Morgan as chief financial officer (CFO). Most recently, Morgan served as CFO of Tegile Systems. Prior to Tegile, Morgan served as the CFO at cloud storage company Panzura. Morgan has also served as CFO at Model N. Morgan has also served as CFO of BackWeb Technologies. Morgan spent the first six years of his career gaining financial and operations consulting experience with KPMG, LLC.
FocusVision [STAMFORD, Connecticut] announced Chris Nagy as Chief Financial Officer. Nagy has worked with Vela Trading Technologies, Radianz, NYFIX and Blackrock.
Evine Live Inc. [MINNEAPOLIS] (NASDAQ: EVLV) announced the appointment of Diana Purcel as the company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Diana is replacing Tim Peterman who will be leaving the company to take the role of Chief Operating Officer at LTD Commodities. Most recently, Diana was the CFO of Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants. Prior to joining Cooper’s Hawk, Diana spent over ten years as the CFO of Famous Dave’s of America, Inc. Her other experience includes CFO of Paper Warehouse, Inc., and key roles at Damark International, Inc., and Target Corporation.
Harvest Exchange Corp. [HOUSTON] announced that Jon LaNasa has been named Chief Financial Officer and Head of Corporate Development. Prior to joining Harvest, Mr. LaNasa was on the founding team of Photofy, and served in the role of Chairman and CEO. Prior to that, Jon found and sold InvitationBox.com to Café Press and had extensive business development experience with Amphenol Corporation. Jon has also held roles with Affect Change, Greenology Products, Priceline WebHouse Club and Booz Allen Hamilton.
VMD Systems Integrators [RESTON, Va.] announced that it has hired veteran chief financial officer David Thornton to lead its finance team. He was the former CFO at LSi and Catapult Technology.
Harbour Energy, Ltd. [Washington] announced that David D. Powell has joined the organization as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Powell’s previous roles include CFO for Cobalt International Energy and CFO of the petroleum unit of BHP Billiton. Prior to joining BHP, he spent over 28 years in various roles at Occidental Oil & Gas Corporation, based throughout the US, Qatar, Malaysia, Russia and Argentina.
Stepan Company [NORTHFIELD, Ill.] (NYSE: SCL) announced that it has appointed Luis Rojo as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Rojo will succeed Matthew Eaken, who, as previously reported, is presently serving as interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Rojo joins Stepan after a 21year career at Procter & Gamble Co. (P&G). Luis most recently served as Global Hair Care Finance Director.
PerkinElmer, Inc. [WALTHAM, Mass.] (NYSE: PKI) announced the appointment of James M. Mock to senior vice president and chief financial officer (CFO). Andy Wilson, PerkinElmer’s current senior vice president and CFO, who previously announced his retirement from PerkinElmer, will remain with the Company as an advisor for an interim period of time to ensure a smooth transition and integration for Mr. Mock. Mr. Mock joins PerkinElmer after serving for nearly 20 years in a wide range of financial oversight capacities within General Electric Company (GE). He was most recently vice president, Corporate Audit Staff. Prior to that, he served in a number of progressively responsible leadership roles in multifaceted global businesses based in the United States and overseas.
Karmic Labs, Inc. [SAN FRANCISCO] announced that Chauncey Dewey has joined the company’s senior leadership team as Chief Financial Officer.

David Nelson
Serenova [AUSTIN, TEXAS] announced it has appointed David Nelson as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Most recently, he was CFO of Periscope Holdings. Prior to that, Nelson was CFO at Q2 eBanking. He previously held similar executive positions at Trillion Partners, Salion, Hired.com, and Merrin Financial, a division of ADP.
BioAxone BioSciences, Inc. [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] announced the appointment of Ronald S. Goldstein as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Goldstein’s background includes public accounting rules and presentation, SEC reporting and regulations and working with the banking and investment communities. Companies with whom he has worked include NKT Therapeutics and Cyteir Therapeutics, as well as Tufts NE Medical Center and, earlier in his career, SLI, Inc.
Remington Outdoor Company [MADISON, N.C.] announced the resignation of Steve Jackson, Chief Financial Officer.
TCR2 Therapeutics Inc. [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] announced the appointment of Ian Somaiya as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining TCR2, Mr. Somaiya was Managing Director and Head of Biotechnology Research at BMO Capital Markets. Previously, he served as a Managing Director and Equity Analyst at Nomura Securities Co. Ltd., Piper Jaffray Companies and Thomas Weisel Partners Group, Inc.
Cooper Tire & Rubber Company [FINDLAY, Ohio] (NYSE: CTB) announced that Ginger Jones, Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, has informed the company she will retire as a full-time executive later this year, and will focus on serving on public company boards of directors.

Rhonda Chicko
Scholar Rock [CAMBRIDGE, Mass.] announced the appointment of Rhonda M. Chicko as Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, she was Vice President, Finance at Editas Medicine, Inc. Prior to joining Editas, Ms. Chicko spent 10 years at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in financial roles of increasing responsibility, culminating as Senior Director, Finance and Tax. Earlier in her career, Ms. Chicko held a range of positions at investment management and accounting firms, including Wellington Management Company, LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.
Endotronix, Inc. [LISLE, Ill.] announced the appointment of John Flavin as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Flavin most recently led the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Chicago. Prior to that he held President and CFO roles at Advanced Life Sciences and MediChem Life Sciences.
Lennar Corporation [MIAMI] (NYSE: LEN and LEN.B) announced the appointment of Diane Bessette as the new Chief Financial Officer and will continue as the Company’s Treasurer. She has worked with Lennar for more than 23 years and has served as the Company’s Treasurer since 2008 and Controller from 1997 to 2008.
SoFi [SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.] announced the appointment of Michelle Gill as Chief Financial Officer. Gill replaces Interim CFO Steven Freiberg, who assumed the role in May 2017. Freiberg also serves as vice chairman of SoFi’s Board of Directors and will remain in that role. Gill joins SoFi from TPG Sixth Street Partners. Previously, she spent 14 years at Goldman Sachs & Co., where most recently she was a Partner co-heading the Structured Finance business.
Conventus Orthopaedics [MINNEAPOLIS] announced the appointment of Jonathan Isenburg as its new Chief Financial Officer. Since April 2015, Mr. Isenburg served as CFO at Infraredx, Inc. Prior to his most recent role as CFO of Infraredx, Inc., Mr. Isenburg served as a Manager in Financial Advisory Services at RSM from 2008 to 2013. Mr. Isenburg was a CPA who began his career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
BrixInvest, LLC [COSTA MESA, Calif.] announced that it has hired Raymond J. Pacini, as its new Chief Financial Officer. Ray Pacini’s prior executive officer experience includes his recent departure from the CFO role at Northbound Treatment Services; CEO of California Coastal Communities, Inc. and CFO of its predecessors Koll Real Estate Group, Bolsa Chica Company and Henley Properties, Inc. Prior to joining the public company ranks, Mr. Pacini was a certified public accountant with the accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand. He is also a National Association of Corporate Directors Board Leadership Fellow and serves on the board of directors and chairs the audit committee of Cadiz Inc.
APCO Holdings [Norcross, GA] has named David Vickers as the company’s new chief financial officer. Vickers most recently served as executive vice president and CFO of The Warranty Group. Vickers’ career began with a nine-year stint in the insurance division at Ernst & Young. He has served as CFO for both publicly-held as well as private equity-backed organizations.
